Out of the 5 David at So Cal windows stood head and shoulders above the others. Knowledge, advice, recommendations, ideas were all on point. Pricing was also comparable to the others so we pulled the trigger and went with them. The install date came and his crew showed up nice and early and began the day-long project which includes a rather large living room window. Johan was the foreman and I only have great things to say about him and how he handles his team. All very nice and respectful. The finished product looks and works like a dream. Give these guys a shot if you're looking to get windows replaced.

His pricing was very fair. Jack personally saw to my project and requests via text messages and calls. They were able to get a ridiculously fast one-week turnaround on the custom window, and took time out of their personal schedules to get the job done over the weekend. After installation, there was one small molding detail I wanted adjusted, and they came by the very next morning to take care of it. I really want to drive home the following points. If you have worked with a contractor in the past, you know exactly how important and rare these characteristics are: * The owner PERSONALLY took all my phone calls, messages, and texts in a timely manner * The team worked well with my general contractor * The installers performed work on a weekend * When I provided a punch list, it was corrected in less than 24 hours Every item in that list is as important as the quality of the installation, especially when you are stressed out and dealing with 5 different contractors while sleeping on your brother-in-law's couch. Did I mention the finished product's quality? It was beautiful and worth every penny. If you are in the market for windows, do not hesitate to call So Cal Window Pros. I cannot recommend them enough. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Our installer, Danny Alonzo, was fantastic from start to finish. He has excellent communication skills and gave us a clear, realistic expectation of the time to completion. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional the entire time -- I honestly wish every contractor or vendor we use could be as good as Danny! We picked a custom color and the door came out exactly the shade we chose. It's solid, heavy, and makes a huge difference compared to our old door. We had bought and pre-painted our own interior moulding, and Danny installed it perfectly with no issues at all. I'm terrible at making clean silicone joints around moulding, but he did an amazing, professional job on them. He even went above and beyond when he noticed some stucco damage around the front door. He pointed it out to us and patched it beautifully -- way better than I could have done myself, lol! The finished door looks absolutely beautiful. My wife and I weren't 100% sure what to expect, but the quality and the final result made the entire expense completely worth it. The door feels rock-solid and looks incredible. 20ish years ago, Hometime replaced all the warped windows in our 1952 ranch style home. Some were…read moremodern standard sizes, but most were custom sizes. These windows are still perfect in every way. These woods come with value and reliability. When we added on to our home about 10 years ago, the contractor used their window company. We ordered some custom sized windows to keep consistency with the rest of our home...and those have never been right. A couple years ago the large, back window split in the frame. We had no question that Hometime would replace the window...and it's both well constructed & beautiful, with two perfectly working locks. The install was done by Eduardo and his crew. It was an early morning appointment, but Eduardo showed up in time. Both he and the other installer were friendly, efficient, and clean. They took less than 2 hours, door knock to exit, and left not a scrap or bit of dust in their perfect install. When we consider cost, style, AND locally, independently owned companies, we will have Hometime do all our windows, always. In the future we will also request Eduardo as our installer. Thanks!

My experience:…read more So i reached out via yelp to andres and was replied to pretty quick. He was able to visit the following day to get measurements / estimate price. He was nice and explained everything. Plus gave suggestions... I gave a downpayment of 10% for everything to proceed. They then ordered it. Rough estimate would be 3-4 weeks for the entire process. They have a physical store in norco which was being run by Andres' wife. After 3 weeks or so give or take... i got a message that they were ready to install. Well within the time frame.... They informed me when they were on the way. They probably took roughly 2.5 hours. Lucas, Andres' son was present. Nothing was rushed and i saw how they handled everything... They can reuse your old door handle... but in my case, i bought a new one... just because. The price: It's pretty fair. It isn't cheap but you get what you paid for. For the peace of mind... ill do it again. Since i got a door replacement, everything was included. From removing the old one , to clean up, trash, installing... and thankfully.... the door i got doesn't need any paint. So it's pretty good. Threshold was top notch. And it seems water / insects wont be able to pop in. Will i choose to work with them again? Probably yes... Once i opt for a screen door... maybe in a couple more months once it gets a little bit cooler.

I hate to give this a low review, but this company comes out and recommends vinyl French doors…read more Everyone knows it needs to be fiberglass or steel in mountain country, but I find out from my wife that he recommends vinyl doors because that's all they sell in regards to French doors. Then he recommends that the doors open outward at the main entry, which that usually is not how it works number one number two in snow country we would never be able to get out in a good storm. When my wife brings up the fact that we won't be able to get out, he suggests we should build some patio covers. Fortunately, we have done a lot of research and the other door companies who came out validated our research, so sadly, we will be going with another company.

Update: The business responded claiming this was a "small repair" that was only offered as an add-on, contingent on booking the interior door install. For the record, the itemized quote priced the entry door repair on its own at $813.39 (new astragal + planing the door to open/close properly) -- a real, standalone job, not a minor add-on. Nothing in the estimate stated the two jobs were contingent on each other or that the repair required booking both.

They also made a handshake agreement to install security doors, which is why we gave them the contract. They did not install these doors and clamed "this wasn't in the contract". See owners response below, he claims they were not the right doors, how can they agree to install something they didn't measure? Did they never have intenion of installing the doors? Dishonest and unethical business practice, terrible customer service. Do not work with this company.

Because they keep removing my review, i'll go ahead and leave it again. :) On March 17, 2022 at approximately 11:00am, I was assaulted by one of the workers photographed below. This took place at the Planned Parenthood in Pomona while I was PEACEFULLY protesting. Jackson (Individual in the image) felt offended by my sign and snatched it from me unprovoked and ripped it to shreds. Imagine being that much of a snowflake that a simple poster offends you? The genius flees in the company car and goes on about his day as if nothing occurred. Being that his literal workplace was stamped on his vehicle, I took it upon myself to pay a visit to the establishment. The owner, exclaimed how his employer Jackson, who also happens to be his son, was just going through a rough patch and that his poor son didn't mean to do such a thing. NEWS-FLASH, we all go through rough patches sir, that doesn't mean I can just snatch someone else's property when I feel offended by it. Pomona PD was practically useless in the situation. So I am solely leaving this review here to let you all know what type of employers they have working for this company. As far as I am concerned, the first amendment protects my right to PEACEFULLY protest. Redwing glass should be familiar with that amendment being that they claim to be proud patriots of this nation. I am sad to report that Redwing decided to disappoint us this time. A glass pane was coming off the gasket and its frame on the other side of the sliding door that they had replaced before and this time, Redwing was demanding close to $300 to take out the glass and put it in correctly. This property is continuously vandalized by homeless people and druggies who know the Pomona Police takes 3 hrs to show up and never ever arrests anyone. They are perpetually taking out windows, sidings, sliding doors etc to get in and they do. So one side of the sliding door was shattered by them last time and Redwing charged us $200 for new glass and installation and now the other pane was coming out due to tampering and Redwing wanted $300 even though no new glass was being purchased. I consider myself a socialist in many ways but despise people who think all people of a certain color or economic class are good with no exceptions, even when they break into your house and sh*** in every room. If people had seen what I have seen from the LA housing department, the Building and Safety, LAPD and other state and federal agencies, they would become hard core Trump supporters. I had a shattered sliding door I called gave them measurement and they gave me the cheapest price bitch shut up after an hour took the door came back and started the same day.
