Their location and facilities are a bit dated and not in the best neighborhood, but they do provide good service and will give a good price break if you can bring your item in versus having a house call. I had them re-glass a broken window with a special low energy tint that was popular 20 years ago, to match the adjacent windows, and they were able to make it happen. It only took a few days to get the material custom ordered and the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, they did a good job. read more

I ordered 2 mirrors and paid in full upon order. The girl was supposed to call me when both mirrors were in. About a month later I called and she said they were in. I explained that I was out of state due to COVID and she told me they were there and to call her when I was going to pick them up. My son came back from out of state (North Carolina) and went to pick them up and they said without the receipt they could not look it up. I found the receipt and the next day he went back to be told that they only hold items for up to 90 days and the items were gone. No refunds. So much for supporting local chino business. I will never use them again and do not recommend them. They are not an honest business. read more

Had to wait awhile for the actual window repair, but when the day arrived, it took him only 15-20 min. to replace the glass. Nice and efficient. The inner edge is different than the original window glass, but it won't be noticed. I can highly recommend, unless you are in a big hurry. I'm sure if it was an actual broken glass, they have emergency appointments, but this was just a broken seal. read more

Loren's Glass & Mirror has been a staple business in downtown Chino for decades. I haven't seen any capital improvements during that time. However, it is a small local business, and perhaps there is no need to make any updates or improvements. Upon entering, there is a small dated office, and you will see miscellaneous orders occupying most corners of the office. Behind the office is the shop, which is visible. There appears to be one employee who is tasked with taking orders, answering the telephone, and assisting customers at the counter. When I entered to place my order, I waited several minutes until the conclusion of a telephone call. Since there is only one employee, be prepared to be patient. I ordered several 1/4 glass tops for all of the furniture in three bedrooms; three dresser glass tops and four night stand glass tops. When I placed the order, the employee called another business to get pricing. Glass is not as affordable as I expected. My order was almost four hundred dollars. Once my order was ready a few days later, I went to pick up it up. After paying my balance, I started to load the glass. I also discovered that glass is heavier than it looks. There was no offer by the staff to offer assistance opening the door or loading the glass. Since I had so many pieces, I had to return the following day. The following day, I picked up the remaining pieces of glass. I entered the business, and there was no one at the counter, but there was a person working in the shop. I started to remove the glass, and during the entire time, there was no acknowledgment by anyone. Again, I had to deal with opening the door, holding the door open, and walking out with large pieces of glass. I was glad I didn't break it. Ultimately, I got all of the glass home and covered my furniture. The glass came out great, and now I have that hotel feel. This is no indication that I will be covering my couches with plastic next. Come to Loren's Glass & Mirror for the products, but do not expect any frills or fluffy customer service. read more

I was recommended by Lowes to come get some advice on my shower glass door issue. The first time I visited, I had a great impression with advice from Joey who was very clear and reasonable. He had requested me to provide detailed measurements for the part for my shower glass door. I went home and returned as quickly as possible with the information. I was told that I'd be contacted, but never heard back. When I called to follow up, I finally got a quick estimate, but not final because they need to visit to see the situation in person. During the recent thunderstorm my dog broke out one of our rear living room windows. Had spoke to another glass repair company close to my home and they told me my entire window frame and all needed to be removed and replaced. We live in Eastvale California any friend told me to try Lauren's in Chino. Gave them a call they came out the next day to do a measurement and provided me with an estimate. Told me there was no need to replace my entire window and frame they can replace just the glass and would only have to order it it would take about two weeks. The very next day they called to schedule an installation appointment and said the window should be in within five days. My installation time came today between 10 and 12 was the window for the repair man to show up. At 10 o'clock on the nose my doorbell rang. At 10:50 AM my window has been replaced everything is cleaned up and the gentleman in his left. He also saw the torn screens that the dog rip to break the window and mention that they do screen repairs along with the frames. He took the friends with him and told me I can pick them up within the week. Extremely impressed with the service, follow-up, follow through, craftsmanship, and price. I ordered a 18"x 16" piece of tempered glass on Monday, I was told it would be ready the next day. I came back on Wednesday to pick up my glass, the girl at the desk let me know she forgot to order it . I called on Thursday to see if it was ready, the same girl told me it was, when I arrived, she told me she was mistaken , one of the owners came out a made me feel like it was my fault that it did not make the delivery truck. Super helpful. They took my order for some glass shelves over the phone, with a small deposit. I wasn't sure of what I needed because the shelves were for an old hutch and I didn't have the original shelves to know how thick they needed to be. I was worried because they would need to be able to support China and crystal, and the shelve measurements were long with no supports in the middle. They were very knowledgeable about the type of shelves that were typically made during that era, and so I felt confident that I was getting shelves that could support my grandmother's precious china.
