Tried two different times during soft opening period. All the employees are so sweet and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing. The first time I went, I asked for a suggestion if I typically do mochas or vanilla lattes + generally like things on the sweeter side, and they suggested the RAF coffee. It was very creamy, balanced, could still taste the coffee (was flavorful and smooth). I came back again a few weeks later and it was just as good as I remembered. For some of the reviewers saying it took a while--I honestly don't recall. The raspberry coffee is good, but there is this one employee who is extremely rude.. My first time going, I was in line with my significant other and there was an individual in front of us ordering. I went to pick up a menu they had on a clipboard as to not waste the cashiers time when I got to the front, however, when I quietly reached for the menu, the cashier with light colored hair and blue eyes said "Can you not wait your turn?" I was so embarrassed and said "im so sorry I thought there was more than one menu, I didn't mean to come off as impatient" and he glared at me and said "please return the menu". I put it back and apologized again.. I thought they had more menus..and he ignored me entirely. My significant other ended up not ordering because of how rude and impatient this man was. I gave it a second chance thinking maybe I came off as impatient/rude by taking the menu (even though it wasnt intentional and thought they had more than one menu). He always seems impatient when I get to the front, and when I ask him questions he is not very helpful and is uncomfortable to ask him anything.. I asked if they had any more danishes and he said "what you see is what we have". Then while I was ordering a drink, a girl in her 30's comes up and politely asks for a water cup. He says "There are water cups over there" and points to a water station behind her. She then says "Im wondering if I could have a bigger cup so I dont have to continue getting up while I do homework". he goes "There are glasses at the station, are those really not big enough for you?" I got second hand embarrassment and the customer looked very embarrassed and said its okay thank you. I never went back. He is extremely extremely rude. read more

Long overdue review. First time I came last year, the coffee definitely was the highlight. They make their own syrups and have several seasonal offerings throughout the year that are both delicious and memorable. You can taste the quality and passion in each drink. One major thing that differentiates them is that they are the only coffee shop that offers lactose free milk! As a Mexican, this is common and normal in Mexico. Yet here, they were the first to have this offering. Maybe some other places offer it too, great. For me, they were the first. The owners are kind, modern, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was my first time here and already walking through the doors, lots of smiles. I didn't know what to choose for my drink and the kind baristas shared their favorite recommendations. They shared that any of the raf coffees were amazing so I decided with vanilla. They also recommended the puff pastries as they just came out of the oven so they're nice and warm. If you're in the mood for mediocre coffee served with a side of hostility, this is your spot. I made the mistake of asking -- just asking -- if it was possible to adjust the coffee temperature. You'd think I asked for a unicorn latte with moon dust. A simple "no" would've done the job, but instead, the barista (who I later learned is also the co-owner) acted like I personally ruined his afternoon nap. He seemed genuinely offended that I interrupted him... doing absolutely nothing. The level of unprofessionalism was honestly impressive. I'd recommend an anger management course, or at the very least, some basic manners training. Being rude to paying customers isn't a substitute for a good work ethic. Coffee was alright, but definitely not worth putting up with the attitude. Also, take a scroll through their responses to other negative Yelp reviews -- always defensive, always someone else's fault. Getting my car serviced and was super excited to see that an independent coffee shop in walking distance. Super cute inside and staff was very nice I ordered the "Bumble" (espresso and orange juice). Never had anything like it before it was the signature drink so I had to try it. It was delicious, mostly tasted of orange juice with a nice coffee under note. Presentation was also beautiful, had this orange slice garnish.
