Coffee and pastries are fantastic as is the service. Nice people, great coffee. Definitely my go to coffee shop!

Redshift Coffee Toasters makes some of the best coffee around. I love their housemade syrups, and their RAF coffee is always a treat. The staff is friendly and the vibe is great. It's a bit pricey--but honestly, what coffee isn't these days? read more

The service here is superb. Apparently the barista said my drink was ready numerous times but I was focused on my work. When I came to pick up my drink, she said it may be too cold so she made me a new one on the spot! read more

Great coffee, vibe and service. Worth the drive from RSM. Picked up a bag of espresso beans to enjoy at home.

First time visiting here by searching up from Yelp since we were nearby and didn't know any coffee shops around us. The place was clean and simple yet modern interior. The service was excellent! They had grand opening about 6 months ago. They had the promotion of Buy One Get One Free drink only if we download their app which was nice so we can buy more drinks to try variety of drinks. I'm not sure how long this will last, but hopefully by the time I come back it will still be there. We tried pumpkin spice latte (seasonal drink), flat white, bumble coffee, and apple pie raf (also a seasonal drink). They were all tasty! I will definitely come back for their great coffee! read more

Hands down, some of the best coffee I've had! You can really taste the quality and care in every cup. The baristas are super friendly and know exactly what they're doing. Great spot -- I'll definitely be back for more! read more

If you're into a strong straight expresso flavor this is the place for you. I usually like hints of other flavors in my beans however this was strong almost Turkish style expresso. Friendly staff and new. Not bad for a quick stop. read more

I'm loathe to sing their praises too loudly because it's my everyday coffee spot and I love getting a table but no one deserves it as much as they do. Try the gingerbread latte! read more

Coffee lovers, please give this business YOUR business! I am so happy to have this new option in Lake Forest! No frills coffee and tea. Brewed strong and presented beautifully. Small assortment of food - I'm a sucker for the banana oatmeal. The space is a beautiful, light, open area with plugs and wifi for working. Every time I have visited, the same two men are there and they are both friendly and take great care with their drinks. This place needs to stick around, so please skip the chain and visit this local, small business! read more

Redshift Coffee Roasters - Flat white with oatmilk. Butterfly raspberry iced tead. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lake Forest, California

The oat latte was very expensive--they charged me $7.26 plus an additional dollar for the tip! This was for a basic coffee without any flavor. The quality of the coffee was really poor. The attitude of the staff was also very bad. I saw a beautiful lady come out of the bathroom, and as she passed by, the woman working there started gossiping with the guy behind the coffee machine. This was my first and last experience with this place. read more

All I desperately wanted and needed in my life after my 10 mile run was a good coffee and some much earned tasty carbs. I found this place which was only a mile away from where I ran and boy am I glad I stumbled on it. The Oat milk vanilla latte was perfectly made - strong but smooth and not the perfect amount of sweet. The spinach feta pastry was perfectly flaky with just enough crunch coupled with buttery warmth. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a welcoming hello and smiling faces and everyone was so patient with me while I looked the menu over to decide on what I wanted. The vibe is soothing and calm with a bright and clean decor and calming music playing in the background at the perfect volume that allows for studying, conversation or to enjoy the music itself. Will definitely come again! read more

I got a Banana cream matcha it was mediocre. Kinda watered down. I also got the Brown Sugar Hojicha it tastes nothing like it. Tasted more like a mocha matcha. It was terrible, I couldn't even drink it. read more

It's weird that I kept coming back for matcha lattes at a coffee shop but honestly, their matcha is pretty good for the price. It's also close to my work. This granola bowl is only 6 dollars something and it's huge, I believe they use freshly house-made jams which I love. I forgot to mention when you order to stay, they actually serve glass cups which I LOVE!!! I love the reduced plastic and drinking in a glass cup feels soooo much nicer! read more

Redshift is my favorite coffee shop in OC right now. You can really tell the owners have a genuine love and respect for coffee--from the way they talk about their beans to how carefully they craft each drink. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and every staff I met here is so friendly. It's clear they're not just serving coffee--they're sharing something they're passionate about. I also tried their beans, and they are very well-roasted. I loved the bright and balanced, fruity flavors in their Tanzania beans! read more

Redshift has a very unique menu in their quaint coffee shop which appears to be a privately-owned family establishment. The store offers a plethora of very interesting specialty hot beverages, and one of their specialty drinks such as orange juice mixed with cold coffee; as well as a variety of tea servings you'd most unlikely find at larger commercial franchised coffee establishments. I had a colleague meet me at this shop--and we were glad we did. The tables and seats had enough space to conduct our business initiatives with enough privacy. I preferred a nonfat flat white with an extra shot of espresso and my colleague had some special type of hot tea. We finished our meeting sooner than expected. Both our orders were delicious and we look forward to visiting again soon. read more

I've driven by Redshift Coffee Roasters multiple times and somehow kept missing it--but I'm so glad I finally stopped in for a 3 PM pick-me-up! The space is clean, cozy, and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee was excellent--rich, smooth, and definitely a step above the usual chain options. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Well worth the visit over the green giant. Can't wait to come back! read more

For coffee purists, this place is easily one of the best coffee places around the area. I tried flat white and plain latte without any flavors. Their coffees are a bit strong / acidic style I would say. If you're a fan of Kean Coffee in Tustin/Newport Beach and live near Irvine/Lake Forest area, this place could be your good alternative to Kean Coffee. read more

FINALLY! a cafe that's opened till 5pm that has quality coffee drinks. If you're a coffee lover, please note this isn't Your typical cafe with lattes and cold brew - don't get me wrong, they have them too. however, if you're looking for European specialty coffees or infused tonics this is the place for you. This was my first time there and instead of getting my typical latte I opted for a RAF coffee AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED ONE BIT. The ambience is clean and minimalist with a European flair. I'm so happy that we finally have a café in Lake Forest that's walking distance from our studio. Definitely will be back! read more

Redshift Coffee Roasters - RAF coffee, apparently a "popular coffee drink in some countries of the USSR from the late 1990's - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lake Forest, California

One and done. Vanilla RAF and smoked salmon bagel came out to $21.53. Both were good, the drink is overhyped. The young lady who helped me was awesome, but the shift lead or supervisor who took over when she went to the back was not. My fiance and I picked up on his "hurry up and get out of the line" vibe. read more

i'm not sure if it was just me but the vibes seem off in here which sucks cause it's a super cute place. just from looks of the matcha it was very light in color and the woman didn't seem to know how to make a matcha.. so i decided to not get that. went safe with it and got an iced vanilla latte, asked for it half sweet she suggested me not and go with normal and it's still too sweet. i can tell the coffee is good but just too sweet. they also will only do cold foams on holiday drinks which is fine and i understand that but also if you don't like super sugary coffee then not being able to get a cold foam on a normal latte is a bummer. read more

Dear Yelp Community, Great new coffee shop in a mellow commercial center (on a Sunday)...quiet, calm, good refreshing atmosphere inside and friendly staff. Stopped here by chance while getting tires changed at America's Tire (just a short walk away). Very clean and sleek interior. Husband had an iced latte which he enjoyed. I had the Summer Matcha Tonic and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! It was beautifully presented with a layer of muddled strawberries at the bottom, a layer of tonic water, a layer of matcha, topped with a dried lemon wheel...the colors were beautiful! After I mixed it, I sipped the concoction and really enjoyed the combination of flavors! It was so unique and refreshing! Will be back to try the coffee next time! read more

So tried this today and left with one question: HOW? How and why is this coffee so smooth and good. Took the first sip in the cafe, walked out, went back in and thanked them one more time. A bit on the pricy side but at least I got an amazing cup of coffee. It was a cappuccino and it was just right very smooth and very flavorful. It's been a while since I felt this good about a coffee so give it a try. They're also nice people. Tell them Joe Macchiato sent you. Im kidding. I wish my name is that cool . Yo Joe Macchiato what's the matter for you? OK, I think this coffee is still in my system, but go try it. You won't regret it. Signed Joe M. read more

Had there vanilla oat latte and eggnog cold brew. Tasted amazing. Great service. Definitely would come again.

So happy they opened this spot near where I live. First visit 5/5. Staff was very friendly and attentive. For coffee, we got two iced oat vanilla lattes. The coffee had a perfect balance of sweetness. My biggest pet peeve is when a drink taste watery or milky but this was perfect. Their breakfast is what really sold it for me. Their menu is on the smaller side which is not a bad thing as it allows them to excel in those items. They have your typical breakfast items like avocado toast, banana and chocolate chip oats, croissants, salmon bagel etc. the avocado toast is the perfect serving size for 1 and the chilli sauce they put on top is the star of the dish! The smoked bagel was also quite yummy. I am excited to keep going back and will update this review as necessary. read more

Solid coffee, with a strong eurotwist. Very innovative and creative drinks popular in Russia and Europe. Everyone I've sent here loves it. Only hard part is not being able to order over the phone.
