Pizza is just ok. Not great and not bad. It used to be better. Their customer service is terrible. Ordered a pizza to be delivered at a certain time. They made the pizza right away and delivered it 45 minutes early. The delivery guy came up to the door waited 10 seconds for us to answer and then left the pizza on our stoop outside (video from doorbell cam confirms this). The order wasn't complete, we never received our beverages. My wife called about the missing beverages, they didn't answer of course, so she left a message. No call back. That's the problem with pre-tipping before you get your order. We gave a generous tip and received horrible service. This isn't the first time we've had issues with this store, but will be our last. read more

Wanting to try a different pizza place, we have Red Savoy a try. I ordered online two pizzas and an order of pizza fries for pickup. The pizzas were ready when I arrived and they brought them out to me, but I had to wait on the pizza fries for approximately 5 mins. The pizzas were okay but the sauce is a little spicy. The pizza fries were greasy and lacked any sort of crispness so they just sagged limply when trying to eat them. Red Savoy pizza is very unique and isn't really like any other pizza in MN. read more

None of the franchise places have even come close to matching up to the original Red Savoys. Of the 4 locations I've tried since the original closed, this is probably the closest, but something is just off. Toppings aren't the same, sauce tastes different, idk. Just doesn't match up the original. However, the staff are friendly, parking is a plenty, and it's similarly priced to everywhere else. Great for thin crust lovers. read more

Pizza was just meh. I stopped in for a pickup on a large pizza and it was room temperature by the time I arrived home. Crust was over cooked and sauce was more of a crusty mess. I miss the original Savoy's in St. Paul. There was nothing else like it's dark environs and sassy waitresses. This Savoy's location, unlike many of the others, which are little more than takeout locations, has many tables and is a sit down restaurant. If you come during the week, they have a lunch buffet, which is decent. Unfortunately, because the pizzas are sitting out, the crispy, crunchy crust has the tendency to get soggy quite fast. That's a drag, because the crisp crust is one of the hallmarks that makes a Savoy's pizza tops - that along with the copious amounts of cheese, the slightly spicy sauce that they use, and the generous toppings. It all makes for Minnesota's best pizza. If you have a hankering for pizza, this location is a great option if you want to sit down with family or friends and recall the glory that is Savoys! read more

Best pizza!! This is the only pizza we get. Nothing else compares. The sauce is incredibly flavored and robust and brings us back to when we frequented the original St Paul location. Got to meet the owner and he is incredibly genuine and the whole team provided excellent service. The atmosphere is fun, always nice to dine in at this location. Our office ordered 40 large pizza's, 6 large salad's and two side salad's. The pizza came fresh and hot. Delivery was on time. They have one of the nicest delivery guys EVER. The salad's were fresh, the pizza's were done perfectly. All food was pleasing to the eye and to the tummy. Every time I call I get excellent customer service. This order was so big that they helped me get together the menu. They are awesome, they are our go-to for pizza. read more

If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. I ordered pizza online around 4pm. My email confirmation (with an order number, date, details, etc.) said it would be delivered around 4:45pm. At 5:15pm, I called and asked about my order. For some unknown reason, they couldn't find my order, blamed a power outage that never happened. After 20 minutes and speaking with 3 different people (the last one actually calling the manager), they placed a new order for me and again, said about 45 minutes. This was my favorite pizza in town. We haven't been in a couple of months. The floor looked dirty, the silverware was grimy I had to got through 4 plates to find one in the stack that was clean. We killed 5 bugs while we were there. Two that fell from the ceiling on to our table and three crawling on the wall in our booth. There was almost no sauce on the pizza. One of my favorite things about it was the sauce and how much they used. It also did not taste the same. Typically when we go on a weekend night it is busy. There were two tables full. We ordered beer and when it was poured they yelled the order for us to come get it. With only one other table by then full and no one sitting at the bar they really could not have brought it to us? pizza was just ok. Crust was in between a super thin crust like Broadway Pizza and a thicker thin crust like Frankie's Pizza, but had a chewy texture. Sauce had a bit of spice to it. We also ordered cheese toast which was bland. unfortunately this was pretty unforgettable and we won't be going back. read more

My wife and I have been there at least a dozen times since they opened and we never had a bad experience. Their red sauce on the Savoy special is unique enough to set them apart from the average chain store and being able to sit down and enjoy a pizza together versus having it delivered at home is a nice change. It reminds me of when going out for pizza was a thing to do back in the early 80's. The only thing this place is missing is a double ended Ms. Pac Man game and Galaga. They serve beer and I think their is wine available as well. There are times that they are a little slow but when that pie hits the table you won't care anymore. read more

Much much improved, went to try your location the first week you were open and wasn't happy as the pizza was not fully cooked was doughy white under the crust. Tried you one more time today/tonight was very impressed. Crust was cooked prefect like Saint Paul (Original) Red's on 7th. Your location doesn't use as much cheese on the pizza as 7th street does which is actually a good thing . I will be back again soon when I'm craving Reds and found on wrong side of the river (not in Saint Paul). Just wish it wasn't so bright inside your franchise locations spent too many years used to the dark inside lighting of the Original. But good job tonight! This is an update to my previous review. I spoke with the manager who was incredibly helpful and called me back on her own time. She is working with me to come to a resolution. I would have upped my review to 5 stars but I don't appreciate being accused of lying by whoever Reed is. Had he checked before his wrote his extremely disrespectful response he would have realized the manager was already on top of it and she did so without accusing me of lying. read more

I ordered a pizza online for delivery and received a call from them saying my card was declined. I knew there was enough to cover the total on the debit card I used, I only keep a limited amount on this card, and thought I probably entered the card number wrong so gave her the number again and she again said it was declined and asked if I would pay with cash. I agreed but was not happy about it. I then checked my email which had a paid in full confirmation with the last four digits of the card they claimed was declined, I then went online and found, surprise, the approved pending transaction. After we ate I called Savoy's and explained the situation, my card was approved and I paid the delivery kid in cash ( It wasn't his fault and I didn't want him getting in any trouble because of the cashiers mistake) Her reply was that she was "only an Assiustant Manager" and she would have the manager call me the next day. Well, surprise that didn't happen. I called again a few days later and spoke with the same rude, snotty assistant manager who "thinks" the manager will be in tomorrow and she will have her call me (she never took my name or number). I talked to my bank who looked and told me they ran the card, it was approved and they ran it two more times. Needless to say the bank completely agreed with me that this was unacceptable. Needless to say I won't be ordering from them any time soon, their pizza is good but a large pizza is not worth $50.00. I would be EXTREMELY careful if you use a card. IF I ever order from them again it will be cash only. read more

First visit to Red's Savoy Pizza in Osseo last night pizza was very disappointing mediocre at best the restaurant had ZERO atmosphere four tables not been cleaned ( dirty glasses pizza trays not removed) staff was not friendly. Save your money buy a frozen pizza much better!! Would not return to this location! read more
