Stopped by to pick up some dinner the other night at this location after noticing it driving by. The Taco pizza was excellent as was the Eddie's Extra Special pizza which I made into a deep dish. $2.00 extra. Not a biggie. I like their NY style crust. It is kind of chewy which I liked. Deep dish crust was okay. I am not a fan of deep dish; my husband is. All in our party thought this was pretty good pizza. Order was not quite ready when I got there, but didn't have to wait too long. The lady boxing it up was very nice. Ordering online is a perk, but there is nowhere to enter in coupon codes online that I saw. This Broadway location is a little more rundown and the tables weren't the cleanest, but the pizza was still good. Staff was friendly, but didn't look they were in any hurry to tidy up the place. Instead of the thin crust, which is a specialty of theirs, we went with the New York style crust. It was cheesy and delicious. The crust was crisp and didn't get soggy from the toppings. Ordered two large pizzas. One was the Hawaiian with bacon and such and another with sausage and cheese. Did not get the right Hawaiian and didn't see it until we got back to the office. There were two people that worked there that spent more time yelling at each other than focusing on what pizzas we were supposed to get. Very unhappy with the service there not to mention I paid for a specialty pizza and got a simple Hawaiian pizza. They don't label their boxes and they confuse orders. I've never been to this local chain and I was trying to find the original to take one home. Naturally onstar sends me on a wild goose chase from the location I was at. A very nice young lad at the counter even offered me a drink while waiting. This pizza tasted beneath average but the sausage was decent. I'll still give the original a shot but not the outlets. We have ordered take out from this Broadway 5-6 times now since moving to the area. Every time we've ordered we have been extremely happy. The pizza has been perfectly prepared, exactly to our specifications. It's always hot and fresh. The garlic cheese bread is AMAZING!! I only wish they would offer just Garlic Bread with no cheese. I'm sure I could ask, but I always order online, so I don't actually spoeak to anyone. The order is always ready when we get there. The same older man (in other words, not a young kid) is usually there checking us out and he is SO friendly. His great attitude leaves an impression and makes you feel like your business is appreciated. I was raised by the Original Broadway pizza in Mineapolis. I raised by kids by the BP in Champlin and had many good times there, loved the buffet! Now we live by the St Anthony location and love that it's so close. Ordered an Eddie's extra special to go, and was told 25-30 minutes. I showed up at minute 27 (I checked the time in my phone that I called) & had to wait another 15. I don't really care how long it takes for my pizza, I care that you accurately reflect that time. There was only two other customers in there when I walked in, so I'm not sure what the wait was for one thin crust pizza. Once I finally got the pizza it was so incredibly over sauced that there was sauce in little puddles in a few spots. Made the pizza just kinda meh. I've been going to Broadway for over 30 years. This location just went under new ownership and it is now horrible. Prices have gone up. Quality has gone down. Recently ordered a pizza with toppings that were more than 2 inches from the edge and the toppings that were on it were scattered here and there. Placed an order for delivery over the phone and gave the gentleman my credit card info. We're less than a mile from this location, so when he said 30-45 min, I was pleased. Got a call back 5 minutes later, and he needed to verify my address. After giving him my information for the third time, he informed me it would now be 2 hours before they could deliver. I cancelled the order and now have an order in for Tasty Pizza. Will be here in 30-45 min. Consider me a lost customer. Won't make that mistake again. read more

I grew up on Broadway Pizza in the 90's, so when I moved back to the Twin Cities a couple years ago, I was really looking forward to rekindling my love affair with Broadway. I work close enough to the Saint Anthony location that I can stop in there once a month for the buffet. I absolutely love the white pizza they have, and I almost feel bad for everyone else at the restaurant, because if you put that pizza in front of me, I'm going to chomp chomp chomp it up! All their other pizzas are great as well, and they even have a well stocked salad bar for people who want something a little lighter. I've never had anything from this Broadway other than the buffet, so I can't speak on their other offerings. However, if you're in the area and looking for a great lunch spot that's pretty darn affordable (under $9 for a pizza buffet is a really good deal), you can't go wrong with Broadway. read more

I walked in today after work. Everyone was friendly, I said I just moved to the neighborhood and they were nice. After ordering and running next door I got back and we gabbed a bit and asked about delivery etc. I could tell they cared about their store. Let with my Buffalo chicken pizza, brought it home and was delicious. Only problem it had no hot sauce! It's a shame that the closest pizza place to my house has to be bad. Ordered from them 3 times, and while the deep dish pizza was really good, their spaghetti and meatballs (actually penne and meatballs) was possibly the worst I've ever had. How do you screw up this most basic Italian dish which can easily be made at home? And every single delivery I got from them had a problem with missing or cold dipping sauces. It didn't help that these orders were during the winter, but still, if the food was warm, and the dipping sauce was cold, that tells you they probably do nothing to warm their sauce up. Ordered my pizza and paid by card. Repeated myself three times over the phone for my order. 10 minutes later the guy calls back and needs my card again, turns out he entered the wrong order, so now wanted to enter the right one and charge my card twice. A twenty dollar order turned into a fifty dollar order! He said I'll get my money back on the first order but it would take three days. I tried to make it clear I wasn't happy about being out $30 for the weekend but he didn't seem to get it. Finally after about an hour delay due to this process my pizza finally showed up and guess what. It was still wrong!!!! And cold! Had I wanted to make my own pizza I would have. No! My husband ordered two "Broadway Pizza" pizzas last night. I spit it out! This is not the traditional Broadway Pizza recipe. It tasted like cardboard. There was hardly any cheese, and certainly is not the Broadway Pizza spec/recipe. We'll travel back to Robbinsdale to get the real stuff next time. Awful. read more

Their pizza is generally okay, but their hours and delivery schedule is murky at best. Regardless of their hours posted online, they will tell you they are closed if you call within 30 minutes of closing time. It is not how I would expect a quality business to behave. read more
