Prices are way over market. Tried to sell a ski to my friend. He custom built it online with the dealer and the basic model here was 3k over the price of buying directly from dealer. Reps are pushy, just want you to buy something. Not interested if you're not trying to get it now. Also, I would maybe check the background of some of these people.. personally I wouldn't buy from here. read more

Service was completed, but man was it ever a hassle. It took Redline almost a month to complete a simple recall service. I was shined on about if the parts had been ordered and when the order was placed, when the parts were received, etc. Yes, I realize the pandemic-induced supply chain problems are not 100% behind us, but when you're booking recall appointments 8 WEEKS out, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the parts to be on hand (or AT LEAST) ordered by the time the bike is dropped off. I have a hard time believing it took 11+ weeks for a part known to be in stock at the manufacturer to reach a dealership in the same country. When I dropped the bike off, they had the opportunity to tell me right then they didn't have the required parts in stock (despite knowing for 8 WEEKS when I would be dropping off my bike). They did not do this. I had to call (three times over the next three-plus weeks) to get any information, and I was never even informed when my bike was finally ready. I just showed up one day, hoping it would be done after a prior conversation in which I was told "Oh, I think the tech is probably going to put it back together today." This apparently came from one of the service department managers, who clearly doesn't know what his team is doing. I will say the work they did was done competently, that's not my complaint, it's the timeline and the utter lack of communication or information. That's not a technician problem, that's a management problem. I was also ignored by the GM, or at least the clerk at the main desk when I left my name and number and asked to speak to the GM. That's poor customer service right there. I also contacted the dealership through Facebook, and though they promised to call me, I have yet to hear from them. After I started posting this negative review (Google, Facebook, Yelp), their Operations Manager Byron Hager reached out to me via a no-reply email address asking ONCE AGAIN for my phone number, which is 100% definitely in their system. Every interaction is an opportunity for a sale. I'm ready for a different bike, but given my experience with Redline's service department, I'll be going elsewhere to buy. The customer may not always be right, but the customer definitely deserves better treatment than I received at Redline, especially for something as simple as a recall service. read more

Worst experience ever. Asked gracie for a side x side with cab and air. She showed me a hd9. Got it home and found it wasn't cooling. I called and they said bring it back we'll fix it. Found outfrom can am they don't offer a c on a hd9. JJ told me his can am rep told him that according to the serial number, it had a c. Long story short, I'm stuck with it. No offer to make it right. I went there to purchase unit total $6k. Of course they were selling as is and wouldn't even give me 30 day warranty( now i know why). It was exactly what i was looking for so I went ahead with purchase after just riding in parking lot for like 2-3 minutes. Everything seemed well. The very next day I took out to ride and in first 5-10 minutes of riding it began bucking and jerking very bad. After diagnosing it. I found it needed new clutch and belt. Parts totaled just over $500. I contacted them and asked if i could be reimbursed for portion of it. Long story short they are blowing me off. Even after salesman stated if you have issues in first couple days or so we can work something out. Mind you I have proof and reciepts that i forwarded them. I also paid for $675 reconditioning fee that they added ( my guess is they just take out back and spray with garden hose ). Just be mindful purchasing from these people. All together unit is great now after i had to repair. It's not right thought having to repair 4wheeler that just paid $6k for. read more

I am leaving this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the purchase and service experience at Indian Motorcycles of Richmond, Redline Powersports. I purchased a 2023 Indian Roadmaster Dark Horse with over $4,000 in modifications and accessories in July of 2024, in addition to over $1,200 in riding gear. My total expenditure for this purchase was approximately $35,000. I live 80 miles from the dealership and made five (5) trips, totaling 800 miles and numerous hours, in an effort to complete my transaction and receive the bike I paid for. Throughout this process, I encountered multiple issues and miscommunications that have caused me significant frustration and unnecessary delays. These issues include but are not limited to: * Being misinformed about trade-in policies, resulting in a wasted trip to the dealership. * Extended delays in delivery due to the dealership not having the correct tools to install the modifications, despite clear instructions from Indian's own documentation on their website. * Inconsistent communications and inaccurate delivery estimates, forcing me to repeatedly follow-up with the staff. * Failure to install the highway lights I had paid for, only for me to discover this after the bike was finally delivered nearly a month after initial purchase. * Being told I would need to pay for an additional mounting bracket for the highway lights due to the parts department's oversight, despite having already paid for the lights and their installation at the time of purchase. On top of all this, when I brought the bike back for the light installation and requested some level of compensation for the numerous issues, I had to negotiate just to get a basic oil change comp'd. After all of this, I later discovered that my seat was scratched during the service and light installation. This was the final straw in what has been a series of unprofessional, disrespectful, and frustrating interactions with this dealership. I have directly notified Polaris and Indian Motorcycle as well as the CEO and owner of Redline Powersports group so they are aware of the gross incompetence and negligence at this dealership. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. read more

Recently, we brought our Honda Rebel in for work. The day we brought it in, the worker told my husband the work would most likely be covered by warranty. When my husband left the bike, they found him in the system from a purchase over a decade ago. They keyed his email in incorrectly by a letter and failed to update his phone number. He told them his new one but didn't say it was different --they obviously didn't check. A couple weeks later, my husband called to check on the status and was told that the claim was denied and we would have to pay $550. After still not hearing anything for a couple weeks, he called again and was told it was ready for pick up. When we went to pick it up yesterday, the total was $880. We will never step foot in there again. From now on, we'll drive the extra 30 minutes to Richmond. read more

October 2023 update: I think they need a change of management and/or more staffing. Days go by with the staff not responding to simple questions. I have asked at least 4 times to know what processing fee they add and could I get an OTD price on a certain bike they have in stock. I'm promised they will send something and they never do. Emailed the general manager. No response. Called and asked for the general manager or sales manager. Hung up after 7 minutes of waiting. I'm giving up and hoping to find the bike I want elsewhere. read more

By far the worst customer service I have ever received. I purchased two motorcycles from this business in July and still have not received the tags for them. When we left they had everything they needed. After much calling it was determined they didn't have our insurance even though it was provided prior to leaving. I have since had to provide it two additional times and still do not have tags for our motorcycles. Pair that with it taking an entire business day just to process the paperwork for us to leave with our motorcycles I wish I could go back and buy bikes from anywhere else. I would HIGHLY recommend you save yourself the headache and stay as far away from this place as possible!! read more

Dropped off my goldwing for a full once over, with tires. Upon getting back, I noticed a seat bolt missing, a pain to replace. The battery tender cables were buried under fairing, not a big deal but to remove fairing and pull them out but why bury them when they were exposed when you got the bike. I just finished cross country ride and went to change oil, struggled to remove drain plug and no crusher nut from these guy's oil change. When a mechanic is screaming at me, I take shortcuts and "IDGAF" through his actions, I listen. I won't be using these guys again. read more

I visited this location twice looking to buy a side by side. I went because they have a great selection with pretty much all brands represented. On both occasions not one person spoke to me. I purposely walked directly past associates to see if I could get even a hello, NOTHING! On the second occasion I was the only customer in the place, now I see why. Because of this I took my business elsewhere. I would rather pay a little more to a business that actually wants my business. read more

Just Awful.... The Ed's marine of motorcycle shops, they can sell but pray that you never need service. Call them you'll see, press 1 for sales they'll pick up in one ring, press 3 for service you better pack a lunch! Not kidding, they will just let it ring for 15-20 minutes. When you do get them they will put you on hold to check on your bike and rarely do they ever come back. My UTV has been there for almost four months now. Parts department seems to be the total opposite, very helpful and they ever answer the phone! I reached out to the General Manager, never received a reply. Update: I went to pick it up 5/1, same service, he told me he was going bring it around to load it on my trailer. After waiting for 15+ minutes I found it behind the store blocked in by a few four wheelers, I ended up moving them and squeezed it out myself. I went back in and told him how bad they sucked and the service manager just hid in his office. Will never go back, I don't care how far I have to drive. read more

Very rarely do I leave reviews, but Redline need to be put on ice! This company had my bike for 2 months just to do a wreck estimate, once they finished the estimate, I was told it will take 3 weeks to a month just to get parts in, at this point I said ok, but you guys had my bike for wayy too long, no way I'm going to let it just sit there for another month just to wait for parts, then an additional few weeks for repairs. They kept asking me, am I paying out of pocket or going through my insurance. I asked them just to do the estimate for now and well go from there. When I got the estimate back, I promise you, they put unnecessary stuff up there, just 1 example out of several; ball joints and control arms. I doubt I would have made it from Virginia beach to Petersburg if I needed those items, and the vehicle drives straight, no noises, It was all cosmetic. But, that's what they put on the estimate, so I said ok they should stand on it, I then asked them to send the estimate to my insurance company. I gave them instructions 3 times on who to contact, and how to submit the estimate. They never submitted it! I then asked my insurance company to contact them, they contacted this shop twice and gave instrustions, again, they never submitted it! If a shop, quotes you $8500 for repairs, and if that estimate is 100% legit, don't you think a shop would jump to the chance to make 8 bands plus?!? Think about that! So I drove my vehicle to All Out Cycles in Chesapeake for the repairs, total opposite experience! Please make it make sense!!!!! read more
