I had to get an Uber ride into Carytown from 8 miles out on the trail but Joel assured me they could take it in on Sunday. He said 'we are a full service' bike repair shop and we're open today so bring it in and we'll take a look at it. Upon arrival, I got a professional greeting and Joel gave me a realistic estimate of the cost and the time line for repairs. You got to like that level of service. Like most other shops in Carytown, you will be challenged to find parking. They have no dedicated lot so you'll walk 2 to 3 blocks to find street parking.

One of their employees told me that all their money is made on internet sales and if that's true I guess that's why the in store customers don't matter anymore. He took the time to explain different types of bikes to me. We checked out acoustic and e-bikes. He asked detailed questions to see what I was looking for. I ended up trying a Verve +3 lowstep e-bike. Bryan took the time to answer all my questions about the bike and dive into interesting facts. His knowledge felt endless on bikes! Before trying the bike, he filled it with more air and tested its safety. He gave me a helmet and I got to test the bike in the Libbie Mill area. It was a fantastic bike! Although I didn't purchase it this go around I definitely will be back for any e-bike needs.
