I had to get an Uber ride into Carytown from 8 miles out on the trail but Joel assured me they could take it in on Sunday. He said 'we are a full service' bike repair shop and we're open today so bring it in and we'll take a look at it. Upon arrival, I got a professional greeting and Joel gave me a realistic estimate of the cost and the time line for repairs. You got to like that level of service. Like most other shops in Carytown, you will be challenged to find parking. They have no dedicated lot so you'll walk 2 to 3 blocks to find street parking.

I told him I was traveling an hour to test drive it and he said come on in. When I got there the bike wasn't there. The person there, Max, told me it was the manager I had spoken to. He couldn't find him. He also didn't appear to try too hard. Max made it clear that he wasn't the source of the problem. He also made it clear he was not going to be the source of a solution. Max's only concern was that the issue didn't affect him. When I made my displeasure known, Max told me to leave. The only help he was willing to provide was to help me out the door. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Carytown Bicycle fails to realize three important elements of business: 1. Business goes where it is welcomed. 2. People spend money where they feel appreciated. 3. Went there Saturday and bought Mahindra 1126HST, added a box blade and a grapple attachment for the front. Grapple needed a 3rd function switch that I was told was in stock and takes virtually no time to install. Ok so the tractor was expected to be delivered yesterday or today (Tuesday or Wednesday). Well no tractor! Contact them and asked where my tractor is and I was told that the switch was not in stock and had to be ordered but should be here by Friday at the latest and hopefully the tractor will be delivered Friday or Saturday. Received another call and I was told that the part might NOT be here by Friday and they don't get deliveries on Saturday so since they are closed on Monday it appears that I might not get my tractor until late next week. This is unacceptable and I really wish I can pull out of this $33,000 deal and go down the street and get a Kubota which I know are a little more expensive but I would trade that off with better customer service and experience. I will contact Mahindra directly to see what my options are since I don't believe I will get any compensation or satisfaction from Ultimate Cycle. So this is an updated review. Luke Oley reached out to me and we had a nice talk and he was able to resolve every issue that I had. seems like there was a lack of communication and the issue was addressed and I'm pretty confident that going forward there's not gonna be any more issues. The tractor was promised to be delivered tomorrow so we'll see. Fair is fair and Luke addressed all the issues and took care of them so hopefully this was just a blip.

I talked to Lt Dan. He called me back shortly and assured me he was on the way. Shortly after our conversation he arrived with the trailer. Secured my bike and took me back to the dealership. Once there we were offered all the amenities to make sure we were comfortable while we waited. The staff was very friendly and got me back on the road in record time. Lt Dan actually called me the next day to make sure we got home safely and offer his assistance if we ever needed the dealership again.

I went in to see about buying new rims for Rockhopper because I hate Presta valves. The salesman…read moresaid it made more sense to modify the rim, it's cost prohibitive to buy new rims for that purpose. He told me they do that there. I brought the bike back, it was a different guy, he said he would look into it. I said only change the presta tubes if the mod can't be done . I came back and there were presta tubes on it. I asked why they didn't do the conversion, the same guy told me "I told you we don't do that service." I said no, you did not. You said you had to ask about it. It was clear he did not. He dismissed that. I would have taken it somewhere else. Their loss though, I was thinking of selling the Rockhopper and getting a comfort bike, which will not be at Agee's now. I don't like being lied about to.
