Technically we had the crates for five more days. I sent an email first thing monday morning because we were done with them. This amazing service had them picked up by lunchtime that very day. Used Red-Box for my move a couple months ago and they were great! I've used a service like this once before and have had great experiences both times. The boxes were clean and sturdy, and much easier to use than cardboard boxes, without the waste. The delivery and pickup were on time and convenient. This was the third time that we used Redi-box and each and every time has gotten better and better - not that the first time was disappointing. We were moving across town to a much larger place. Totally worth it. Drop off and pick up was a breeze. With the 2 week window, I could pre pack and unpack with plenty of time. It was easy to pack b/c the crates are super sturdy...so I didn't have to wrap everything in bubble wrap or take much care when filling the bins. Most of all, it significantly reduced the move time which was a major $ saver since I was paying by the hour for our movers. We ordered the 2-3 bedroom set (45 boxes) for our 2bd/2ba condo, and were really pleased with how well they worked for the move. We also ordered 2 wheely carts (they threw a third one in for free), which were incredibly helpful in organizing boxes during the move (you can stack 4-5 on the cart and move them around your place), as well as the actual truck loading process. The moving guys were able to stack a ton of boxes safely on the carts and move them quickly and easily to our elevator. The delivery was on time and friendly, as was the pick-up process. The boxes were clean and a great size. We used smaller shoe boxes, etc. to pack more fragile items within the boxes, as they're quite large, but everything arrived safely and without damage, even with our heaviest boxes. The sturdiness of the boxes gave us confidence in the moving process that our items would be safe. I used zip ties to lock the lids closed for added security. (I used my own, but you can order them, and other packing accessories, via their order form for reasonable prices.) We'd use Redi-box again in a heartbeat. The prices were competitive and comparable to the cost of cardboard boxes, with the added benefit of sustainability, sturdiness, and efficiency. The added benefit of knowing that we had a limited amount of time to pack and unpack was helpful in avoiding the inevitable set of boxes that live in the storage closet and never get unpacked. They do have a social media deal where you can post a photo about your boxes for a free extra week, though we didn't need to take advantage of it. read more

Thank you Redi-Box for the easiest move to date! I was in a pinch to order moving boxes and was looking for an alternative for cardboard boxes/tape (no time for that). Redi-Box seriously saved my life! I ordered the boxes 1 day before I needed them delivered. I was being a bit difficult with the delivery window but they accommodated my needs. All of the boxes were very clean and ready to pack. I highly recommend getting zip ties because if you're like me, you pack boxes to the brim and the zip ties help keep the boxes shut. The labels that come with your order are also extremely helpful. Redi-Box is also flexible with pick up time/day. If you have wardrobe boxes they will offer to take those as long as you break them down flat. I'll definitely be using Redi-Box for my next move! read more

These things are great, wow! My move was so fast and easy. These boxes are easy to pack, and easy to move. They drop em off, pick em up and are ever so nice about it. I had to change the drop off and pick up time by a bit and they were happy to accommodate. I didn't realize how much time was spent getting cardboard boxes, and taping them up and then discarding them until I didn't have to with these boxes. Well worth the cost. read more

Redi-box is awesome! They delivered and picked up on time and besides their timeliness it's a great product. No time wasted taping boxes. No dozens of boxes leftover after the move (should I save for later? Recycle? Neither!) NOTHING BROKE. And I'm not an very good packer. SIMPLY THE BEST! I suffered through a disastrous first-home purchase, during which I used Redi-Box (45 boxes) for moving my stuff from my apartment into storage...and stayed there for over 3 months. First, the entire concept is fantastic and the boxes were clean, sturdy and convenient. I loved not having to buy flimsy paper boxes, which have to be disposed of after moving. The pricing is also very reasonable when you consider the expense and time of buying paper boxes. Second, the customer service was superlative! Bobby was extraordinarily accommodating in every part of the transaction: he arranged delivery of the boxes on moving day at my convenience; arrived punctually and carried the boxes into my apartment, despite the snow; very generously discounted the fees for the additional time I needed the boxes when my condo did not close; accommodated additional time on at least two more occasions when the closing was further delayed; and finally moved the pick-up date when I was unavailable for the original return date. I have used webvan boxes in the past, so when I saw the redibox I knew exactly that I wanted it. Everything fits perfect, protected my valuables from the rain and you never over pack it, so its easy to carry. Having Bobby deliver them was even better as he is a piece of eye candy, dayum!! We LOVED our Redi-boxes for our cross-town move. We did not order enough and should we ever move again we will probably order a bunch more boxes than the recommended amount. Drop off was great, they called half an hour before they arrived. The weather was AWFUL but they were running pretty close to on time and kept me apprised of the potential delay, which I REALLY appreciated. They picked them up without any issues as well. Everyone was nice, friendly and professional. The boxes were easy to move, pack, stack and load. The moving guys liked them too. I recommend them without any reservations!. It would be great if they had options for a few smaller boxes for books or other heavy items. read more

Redibox made our move so much easier!! The movers loved them because they didn't have to play Jenga with a bunch of odd sized boxes. If you're paying movers by the hour, these boxes will for sure speed up your move. The drop off and pick up drivers were both on time and it was a beautiful thing to watch the boxes being taken away and not have to breakdown and recycle a ton of cardboard. My move was chaotic to say the least, complete with storage units, unreasonable landlords, cut wifi cables, and a new, trashed apartment. Redi-box was the only thing that kept me sane during this transition. The boxes arrived on time, complete with the packing paper, zip ties, and labels that I ordered. I LOVE that there is a surplus of zip ties because several times I needed to cut the ones already on to get back into my boxes.
