PHENOMENAL WORK!! Full kitchen remodel - new cabinets, countertops, appliances, garden window. I relied on Yelp to search for contractors. I've heard so many different stories in general about contractors, both good and bad, so we really didn't know what to expect. I emailed ECCI's general email and included existing photos of our kitchen along with notes of what we had in mind for the renovation. We've heard how expensive remodeling projects can get, so I included our reno budget in my email. I sent him some measurements and he was able to send me back an initial quote that was aligned with our budget as well as a digital rendering! LOVED the digital rendering - I am a visual person when it comes to design, so this was extremely helpful. I asked to make sure the company was licensed & bonded (yes, they are), and asked for a couple of references, which Ivan readily provided. Those were my main indicators of legitimacy, along with the other yelp reviews, of course. All looked good so we after we approved the quote, Ivan came over to double check my measurements (thank goodness because I was off on some of them), updated the rendering slightly, and set up a start date. The whole ECCI team is great. After Ivan worked with us for the initial renderings, finalizing our materials selection, etc., Long, his uncle, his mom, Thuy (Twee), Angel and Victor worked on the kitchen. Long is extremely meticulous, which is great, because my fiancé is the exact same way, and they would go back and forth with feedback and new ideas which overall made the final result that much better. They had open lines of communication, made themselves readily available to us to answer questions, any time of the day. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found a company like ECCI. Everyone was so nice and we are beyond satisfied with our kitchen. We appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests. My fiancé was really adamant about having everything in the kitchen be symmetrical, so when the original floor plan didn't accommodate that, they essentially had to expand the plan to make it work. It was important to them that we had a final result that we loved, and we couldn't be happier. The backsplash came out beautifully! They also installed the shelving mounts for us so my fiancé could build the floating shelves that are currently installed. Going into a remodel, it's important to have an open mind and be as flexible as possible. We were optimistic, but most importantly, we were realistic, and had expectations to match. It took about 2 weeks longer than anticipated, but we also decided to add a garden window and as I mentioned before, had to expand the kitchen by a few inches which required additional laminate cutting, replacements, and material orders for the add-ons, all of which attributed to the additional time. We are so in love with our new kitchen! ECCI definitely surpassed our expectations with regard to quality of work and professionalism. It's a nerve wrecking experience given the money involved when you remodel your home. I've used a number of companies to remodel my home in the past few years and I find that you're always going to run into issues and some form of miscommunication. In working with ECCI, and more specifically Crystal, I've found they were very thorough in determining what I wanted done and detailing any hinderances to the project before work began. I definitely put pressure on them to complete the project sooner than they estimated, but they were able to meet my straining demands. Of the numerous organizations I've worked with, hands down ECCI was able to execute my vision with the least amount of hiccups and headaches. I have a mid-century Garden Grove home that I inherited and was in need of many repairs and improvements before listing for sale. I started with replacing the windows (by ECCI) and was so impressed I not only added more windows, but also had a meeting with Long Phi, the General Contractor, to discuss indoor/outdoor painting, fascia board repair, new doors, baseboards and a new entry door. Long was excellent at providing economical improvement ideas that would enhance the appearance of the home in order to show well. Long is a gifted craftsman, and pays very close attention to detail. He works as if the project is for his own home, and is not satisfied unless the results are perfect. The entry door installation was tricky and he spent 2 days making sure it was just right. The fireplace mantel he customed built turned out to be the focal point of my living room. I'm getting so many compliments! I highly recommend discussing your project with Long as you gather bids. This company is competitive in pricing and they really know the remodeling business. Crystal is very knowledgeable, efficient, and super easy to work with. I've been shopping at ECCI for the past 10 years remodeling my parent's home and mine. Being a price conscious costumer I always do my due diligence in researching prices from all different places and ECCI never seems to fail in almost every category. If you are looking for competitive pricing, then this is the place for you to go. Pros: 1) Upfront - I've been to many many places to look for home improvement products and I'd say there are many places where you sometimes just don't know if they are being truthful and telling you everything about the price. But I never get that feeling when I deal with ECCI. 2) Prices - Like I mentioned above, they have the most competitive prices in almost every category. I always go to many different places to shop for something, but always seem to end up here. 3) Flexibility - They are pretty flexible when it comes to delivery, payment, and pricing. I've worked with Ivan, Vinh and Crystal and they are pretty easy to work with and have worked with me during my past remodels. Cons: 1) Showroom - Their showroom isn't as large as some of the other places so its hard to know the depth of their product availability. 2) Contractors - Because their size, most installations are done through outside contractors who work with ECCI, so they aren't necessarily ECCI employees. Because of that you have to essentially work with 2 different parties. But that is the case for most companies in this industry. Overall, I don't have any major complaints about this place and would recommend anyone looking to do remodeling to come here first and last. read more

I had called multiple business' in Orange County to not only find the correct window, but to have it delivered within a certain amount of days. We had some cabinets and floors installed by them. It was difficult to explain everything to my mom since my Vietnamese is limited. Luckily one of the workers, Ivan, was able to explain everything to her and he had drawings to show her, which was helpful. He even took the time to go to the granite yard to pick things out with us. He didn't sound very encouraging on the phone but agreed to do an estimate. We had agreed on a time and date. We hired ECCI to remodel and all he workers did a really good job. No issues with any of the workers. I thanked them for their honesty and hard work. But we did have an issue with one of the sales people. His name is IVAN... He was very forgetful with what the contract offered and not being on it with the remodeling. He promised and the Ad says what's included but yet not given. He should know from the Gecko from the looks of our Kitchen what can be done. When ready to do the Granite, he had me and my 8 year old son go get the granite. He didn't offer to come with us the selection. We had to drive to 2 different locations to get the granite. He should of had it all arranged for me to select. Not the customer to wait in the warehouse WITH my son in a dangerous warehouse. 3 hours of waiting for someone to help us (which no one did) and we just left. One of his own workers say he is very lazy and he should of been there with you. We addressed the issues and he insulted us. He was rude and not caring. But yet said, Quote "I have a bad feeling about you guys!" That is also insulting. Insinuating that he's afraid that we won't pay the remaining balance. We have plenty of money to pay. He wanted our credit card number to charge it later and i told him, QUOTE " I have a bad feeing about you", and that i will NOT give him my C.Card #. Instead the very next 2 day i wrote ECCI a check for the remaining balance. I am not going to pay my balance until I inspect the work and its all complete. The work was not complete. But yet he wanted full payment. There was just a few little things that had to be done for final payment. FYI: I do not recommend anyone to use ECCI. Customer service is horrible and sales person talking back to customers. I give them Zero Stars! read more

Our budget is very limited after closing escrow, so we had to shop around for a reliable, affordable, and trust worthy contractor to renovate our home and still stay within budget. We have all the flooring replaced in the house. The wall between the living room and kitchen was completely taken down to allow a more opened floor plan. Two bathrooms and kitchen were completely renovated. Pros: -Reasonable pricing -Warehouse offers good selections of samples to choose from (tiles, laminates, back splash tiles, cabinets, quartz, granite) -Decent communication from beginning to end -Paperwork clearly itemizing labor, material costs... -Professional crew -As a plus, ECCI's contractor built us a fireplace mantle from scratch free of charge -Timeline for each phase of renovation Cons: -Estimated time for project completion was extended for an additional 2 weeks (initial estimated completion time of 6 weeks) -Overall, communication was great; however, could be improved, especially near at the end. We were given ample of time to pick out tiles, laminate, cabinets. However, near the end, we were given only 1 or 2 days notice to pick out faucets, sinks. We were crunched for time and therefore didn't have time to shop around for pricing or styles. We GLADLY recommend ECCI without hesitation to our friends and co-workers. We needed to replace all the windows in my house and was looking for a vendor. ECCI was the first place we went for an estimate and we didn't bother going anywhere else after. Crystal helped us out and explained all the features of the Milgard Windows we were looking for and the differences between the two product lines. She was really patient and answered all our questions. We were also updating our bathrooms at the same time, so we ending up using ECCI to make our vanities and ordered shower tile through them. At first look, this is an Asian family business in Asia central where many of us like to avoid. But don't be fooled, they're very professional, knowledgeable about their products, and very friendly! You can tell they care about their business. We had ECCI remodel our bathroom last month. They did everything we asked for so there's nothing to complain about really. They initially got back to me very quickly when I asked for a quote, however they asked if I could wait about a month. I assume because their projects were full; ok no problem. I let them know I would like to move forward when they are able/ready. A month went by and I heard nothing; I know sometimes construction takes time so I wait a bit longer. After a few more weeks I contact them and they just stopped responding all together. Personally I steer clear of companies that lack good communication. I don't mind waiting for good work to be done, but if nothing is communicated you're just left to make your guess as to what is going on. read more

Let me first start by saying ECCI is honest, reasonable price and dependable. It has been over 1.5 years since I remolded my house and everything is all good in the hood. Not to mention this review is long over due. Bought: 2 sliding glass doors 1 French door with side panels 6 windows (1 is tempered) Honesty. As you know this is a family ran business and the main person you will be dealing with is Crystal. She is very honest, upfront and willing to work with you. Everything ECCI (Crystal) quotes you will be exactly that, she is a straight shooter. There are no surprise fees or delay in installation. Pricing. Their prices are unparalleled and trust me I shopped around. I called other family owned (Asian) shops and none of them can match ECCI's pricing. Dependable. Some have said I am a straight "Bug a Boo" and that I agree. A few months after the purchased I called Crystal to request someone to take a look at my sliders. Not evening questioning why I need any assistance she had someone come out, that someone happened to be the owner (Long). He came over inspected all the windows and he happened to fine a faulty rubber on the back of the screen. Instead of trying some Mike Mouse work, he called it into the manufacturer and a day later came back to install it....forgot to mention this was all done on the weekend. Talk about dedication to customer service. In summary, I would STRONGLY recommend this company to all my friends and family. Crystal at ECCI was thoroughly amazing. We started our search for a new bathroom vanity in February. We looked at Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn and multiple other online vendors including HomeDepot and Lowes. We were looking for a 72" double sink with carrera marble with soft closing drawers. We were having new flooring put in and ordered a new one-piece dual flush toilet. We do not intend on staying in this house very long so finding quality at the best price was key. Most of the vendors that we had searched did not have our exact specs. Drawers always seemed to be the missing piece to the puzzle or the quality of the cabinet. I ended up finding ECCI while searching on Craigslist (hoping to find a company that had bathroom vanities). I called her and we started going through the list of companies that she could get cabinets from but those suppliers could not deliver an exact date of delivery. Eventually she showed me the cabinets she had installed in her own home which were the espresso beechwood cabinets (shaker style) with the carrera marble. The price was the within the budget and the quality is far better than anticipated. We would definitely contact Crystal again for any future home improvement needs. read more
