If you are eyeing this place for lunch? YOU GOT TO GET THE ELOTE nachos. They are so different, but in a refreshing way. The service was great, and the ambiance was very family friendly. read more

Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar - Elote Nachos Elote Nachos - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Tried this spot while making a day trip to Phoenix and it was a pleasant experience. Service was really good and a lot of food to go around. Too good that I didn't take pictures. The house lemonade is true lemonade so if we don't like sour probably keep it off the table, outside of that. Would definitely recommend them! read more

The service is always amazing. I love how the server will always tell you their name. We had Julian today. read more

Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar - Elote nachos with pollo asado. Through and through sauce, corn, sweet peppers..... no dry patch of corn chips at the bottom ever. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Very good food and service. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. Service was very friendly and fast

I just wanted to let you know about the great experience we just had here. We had Bella and she was absolutely delightful. The Ambiance is very nice and clean. Especially even the bathrooms. But the food was to die for! I had the blue burger with extra bacon and the bacon was the best bacon I ever had in my life! The quality of the meat was amazing. The blue cheese was superb. Butter onion was an added list! Good job this place was awesome! read more

Redbird is just what this town needs; not only in terms of delicious, fresh ingredients; but also in food presentation; variety of food options; as well as a versatile bar area....space is super clean with a colorful and funky atmosphere...staff couldn't be more helpful and upbeat! The warm towels after the meal were a cool touch....wake up Tucson and make the new Sam Hughes Redbird your next destination if you are looking for great meal and super "vibe"...G read more

We ordered a pick up order of elote nachos and a salad with many toppings. Food was delicious and fresh.

We have been there twice now, once with a huge party. The food is good and the service is great. Unfortunately, it's hard to get real good service these days , especially when there are large parties but it wasn't a problem here. The servers are kind, friendly efficient and very personable. The ambience is contemporary and upbeat but casual. There is a nice patio to eat and enjoy drinks, weather permitting. The grilled chicken was marinated in a delicious marinade and was tender and juicy, not dried out and flavorless like many other places. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

This restaurant is located in the former Swenson's Ice Cream location; its definitely not a fancy place, has more of a diner feel. We were greeted right away and the service was great. We tried shrimp tacos and chile rajas tacos and the tacos were good. read more

I sat at the bar, and normally when I go to places and sit at the bar the service is horrible. Here the service was phenomenal. Specifically the bartender Lily T. She was energetic and attentive. Overall awesome experience, will be going back. Also make sure you get the green chili back waffle fries. They were out of this world. read more

Excellent all around. Food was great, great value, good service. The restaurant was clean and cute.

Great food. It is a loud environment. Fun with a group but not great if you want to talk.

Great food. Lots of fixin's. They know their food though and provide hot towels to clean off with at the end of the meal. Our waitress Laura was very good. We will be back. read more

I have celiac and went here because it has a separate gluten free menu. My salad came with fried tortilla strips, which will make me sick. They took it back an apologized and blamed my waiter. I also ordered a grilled shrimp taco. I took a bit before realizing it came breaded with gluten and fried, I sent it back. I puked in the restaurant from getting glutened. They brought me a new taco in a four tortilla. I sent it back. Overall a horrible experience and I got sick. I would not recommend this place if you are celiac as they made several mistakes that could have landed me in hosptial. read more

Wow! Redbird provides a refreshing and rejuvenating experience every time I visit. The word 'restaurant' comes from the French word restaurer, meaning 'to restore'--literally, 'to bring back to a former state.' Redbird truly 'restores' me, leaving me feeling relaxed and satisfied after every meal. They have carefully crafted a unique dining experience, considering every detail--from the menu and ambiance to the warm towel provided for cleansing after a delicious feast. Redbird is easily one of the best spots to go to in Tucson. read more

Great food and atmosphere . Service was on point. Owners engaged and on the floor...smoked old fashion and killer nachos

Service and food is amazing! My family and I went in to eat on Sunday and our server Kaelyn was very attentive and friendly! Would definitely go back! read more

I reviewed Redbird Scratch Kitchen a couple of months ago with 3 stars. Citing that I'd hoped for a wider variety of things not found on other restaurant menus. But commended the excellent service. My daughter's choice was Redbird for her 45th birthday and we celebrated there for dinner tonight. Sergio, you even took our order personally, for a bread pudding to go and brought us or steaming towels for post chicken wing clean up. So here's why I changed my star rating to 5 stars. First I hadn't tried the chicken wings or the crispy shrimp taco yet!! So although I still wish we'd be offered some more items I've been able to have in other cities I've resided, what Redbird does is ALWAYS done well. The. Chicken Wings done a multitude of ways WILL keep me coming back as will the crispy shrimp tacos. And as before service here is exceptional. Tip your servers well so we can keep them here! I love Redbird! My waitress, Gabby, made the whole experience so nice. She was very helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back.

A very special, upscale, fast-casual local restaurant from a trio of entrepreneurs fixated on creating tasty hand-helds and cocktails from scratch. Amazing attention to detail and the prices were very fair for the service, quality, and atmosphere. This place is a winner. read more

The restaurant is clean, well organized, and appropriately staffed. The "Blue Mushroom Burger" that I had was outstanding; the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. My wife had chicken wings and a standard burger, and she was also highly pleased. We will return the next time we are in Tucson! read more

We were excited to try this place. It had a high rating, comments were good. We were seated instantly. Young man comes over and takes our drink order. We ordered a Green chile bacon waffle fries as appetizer. That was the high light of the meal! We had 2 orders of tacos pollo asado and carne asada both meats were very dry and didn't taste fresh. My husband had wings he complained about the blood clots in some of the wings. We will not go back! read more

The triple decker burger was decent, but what's with the no garnish? The onion jam we ordered on the side was barely grilled onions let alone a jam. The elote nachos were blah. If those chips were house-made, go to Frys or Bashas and get better. Our friend ordered an harvest salad, and boy did that look pointless. The service was fair, no return to the table to check on us and no offer of a refill. As for the ambiance, I won't hold the drunk talking and laughing inappropriately behind me against the establishment and the view from the patio is quite good one you look beyond the parking lot. Anyway, if somebody asks I'll go back for the burger even if it was a bit overpriced. read more

Nashville-Tucson Hot Chicken sandwich for the win love the ranch dressing too - very tasty with the waffle fries. Kids each got burgers and they were ginormous! Chix sammie is messy (!!) but they brought out hot wash clothes at the end, so all clean for the drive home. read more

Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar - Best burgers in town!!!!!! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

First time here and the food was delish! Best wings in town! We got the traditional buffalo and ordered them extra crispy. There were meaty, crispy and not greasy and the blue cheese dressing was divine. Even the celery was delish! Highly recommended! Service was also excellent! read more

The food was above average for a wings and burger place. Several of us had the wings. One of the biggest wing fans in our group thought these were among the best wings he's ever had. Others of us we weren't so sure about that but we all thought they were good. One of us had a burger and he thought it was above average. Our server was a attentive although she forgot a couple items that we had to remind her about. The ambience was close to a chain restaurant, but overall we thought this place was quite good. Probably the most impressive thing we had was a smoked Manhattan drink that came out with a bubble over the glass that popped just within seconds after it was delivered. Well done! read more

I spoke with the owner directly and he rectified the problem. New restaurants are faced with a lot of challenges. Especially in today's economy. Wish you nothing but success in your new location. read more

The absolute best! Great food. Phenomenal service. You can't go wrong. I'll definitely be back to try something new next time.

I came in last night and tried the elote nachos , redbird classic burger , and the cinnamon bread pudding. I was amazed on how refreshing and flavor packed everything was. I knew before coming in that it's a scratch kitchen but I didn't understand the full extent until I came. The redbird sauce on the redbird burger was an onion aioli and it was delicious !!! We finished off with the cinnamon bread pudding and I was going to blast off into space of how yummy it was. The owners were extremely friendly and made me feel at home. I will be coming back !!! read more
