This was the quickest pick-up I've ever experienced.

They have the most amazing gowns for any formal event but the true reason I go? Accessories! Purses, rings, bracelets, neckalces, purses, belts, shoes and my favorite; sunglasses. David Han is a magician. Not the kind who dazzles you with card tricks or saws his lovely assistant…read morein half. No, not at all. David's the kind of magic man who can take a 15-year-old suit of clothes that no longer fits as it once did (in my case, a dark pinstripe jacket and slacks) and transform it into a newly tailored set of threads that fits perfectly and actually made me feel handsome. How he did this is beyond me but probably involved a magic wand of some sort. I cannot recommend Zeglio Custom Clothiers on Broadway in Lake View highly enough. And David gets a solid 11 out of 10.

If you're looking to purchase a tuxedo or a new suit, I highly recommend Zeglio Custom Clothiers…read more Their prices are extremely reasonable--especially when you put into account the craftsmanship you'll be getting--and their products are made specifically to you!! I found Zeglio by accident years ago when I needed to get a cheap tuxedo altered for my sister's wedding. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by Richard. He happily suggested a nearby place for alterations, but before I left, he put one of Zeglio's bespoke jackets on me to show me the difference in fit. When I left that day, I knew I wanted to have my wedding tuxedo created by these people. When that day finally came, I called Zeglio's Lakeview location to begin the process. My call was warmly answered by Richard and the experience began. Richard is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable designer. During the design portion, he was informative, patient, and considerate, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. I did my fitting and alterations at Zeglio's store in Loop. The place is super slick inside and the tailors really make you feel important: from the professionalism all the way to the small details most people would overlook, but makes a HUGE difference (suggesting I have the length of one of my shirt sleeves shorter than the other so my watch can be visible or altering the length of my pants so my socks show when I'm sitting down). Just an amazing attention to detail! My tuxedo only required a few minor adjustments. When I finally put everything on I was shocked at how flawless everything felt--I've never worn anything that has fit me so perfectly. This tuxedo made my wedding experience so much better. I wasn't nervous because I knew I looked good! It's amazing how your confidence is affected by the clothing you wear in a situation.

Formal Wear Rental Review!…read more My husband and I worked with Gerry from Essence Formal Wear to rent his wedding tux (jacket, pants, vest). Gerry was kind to let my husband come into the store a couple of times to try on the rented pieces with other items he purchased to wear. We were both impressed by the styles they offered, quality of pieces, and pricing. They allowed us to pick up the tux a couple days before the wedding and return it 3 days after. I highly recommend looking to Essence for men's formal wear rentals!
