The boutique itself is always organized and beautifully decorated (elegant seating area, fireplace, glass displays), and the customer service is beyond friendly. They have a wide variety of dresses, accessories, jeans, purses, tops, and shoes (etc.) that are suitable for all different occasions (casual and formal). I always get so many compliments when I wear my dresses/shoes from Jila La Belle, because they are truly great quality and unique so it's really hard to find alternatives anywhere else around this area. They also carry a collection of Bravo luxury purses, which are so pretty and extremely hard to find in stores! I highly recommend checking out the boutique because they have beautiful choices for ladies with different ages (kids not included), styles, and sizes! Thank you Jila La Belle for bringing your beautiful style to Chicagoland!

My taste in jewelry runs a little differently than what they have here. What keeps me from wanting to buy anything here is the no refund policy. I can understand why they wouldn't want to have one (they do exchanges or store credit), but that's generally too much a gamble for me. After buying an outfit for my kiddo at a different store last year that I saw after purchase was ripped and only getting a credit--which, over a year later, I have yet to redeem--I can't bring myself to buy from places that don't do refunds. The only exception I might make sometime is if I wanted a photo frame or something that there's almost zero chance I'd ever return.

It's a beautiful warm and humid day in Chicago and the walk was good. The place is very quaint and small but well lit for shopping. It's a woman's boutique specializing in European clothing. The major designer is Solar and I have not heard of it, but designs are suited for a dressier woman. Thankfully that counts me in as I work in an office where jeans are not allowed and it's conservative so the weekends I can go casual. Back to the store the sizes are European and the lady at the counter (I am assuming is the owner) was very kind to tell me that 34 is usually x-small, 36 is small and 38 is medium. I'm usually a medium but some of her clothing allow for a 34 when I tried on a pair of white slacks. It had a great fit, but buying white is difficult because the material may be more revealing than you might like. Her clothes has many price points as she indicated and sales from the previous season is 20% off. Her summer selection drove me to walk in full of blight yellows, pink, and orange. Do stop in if you're in the neighborhood and support local small businesses!

He was very attentive, friendly and patient as we looked through the mulitple hanbok designers' books he gave us to view. We found several beautiful hanboks. Edward invited us to return to the store at a time when Mrs. Han would be available. A month later, we set an appointment time for my soon-to-be-mother-in-law and me to meet with Mrs. Han. Mrs. Han was very helpful in suggesting which hanboks would best suit my body-type (longer jeogori and lower pleats). Anyone knowledgable about Korean clothing knows that a hanbok intended for a slender Korean girl doesn't exactly fit a white girl's curvacious body in the same way. I am very grateful for her knowledge and assistance. She took my measurements and ordered my hanbok. It takes approximately 4 weeks to be delivered from Korea. Once it arrives, I will post a follow up here. Additionally, they sell high-end men's wear (mostly suits), as well as women's blouses, knitwear, suit-jackets and a few dress-coats.

Generally it isn't a place that I'd shop because clothing stores don't carry things in my size, but they do have some accessories and stuff. I did find a shirt that they carry up to a 2X, so my Cubbie-loving heart snapped it up; however, I think that single t-shirt is about it for the stuff they sell over an L. I stopped in because I was at the neighborhood street fair and needed some sunglasses, and I found a cute pair of those along with some lotion for my poor neglected hands. They had a lot of cute things from dresses and tops to candles, Chicago-themed merch, and items with which to pamper yourself. And TONS of jeans. I don't know if I've ever seen an independent boutique with as much denim as they have here. It's definitely a place to stop rather than shopping online because the cost of everything I saw here was very reasonable. The staff--possibly the owner, along with another employee--were friendly. It's a small shop but not crowded, and they have an area that I think was set up as a fitting room complete with a couch so your trusted fashionista friend can tell it to you straight. This store doesn't have dedicated parking, but in Edison Park you'll find that's not generally an issue.

The styles are geared towards prom and pageant with a heavy inventory of bling style dresses. As another reviewer (Jacqueline F.) mentioned, if blinged out is your thing, this is your place. The dress style they cater is youth focused. I'm not saying this store is not for older folk but depending on style preferences, it may or may not be what you're into. Although my mom didn't find a winner, I will say the dresses are beautiful but I'd like to reemphasize with a disclaimer, they are prom and pageant focused. I can't seem to pinpoint their 2022 entry level pricing but on average, most of the tickets I saw tend to run in the mid $400s. I didn't see a dedicated parking lot. They're situated along busy Dempster and we found free street parking around the corner.
