The manager here was on her way to a break but I stopped her to ask her questions about a product without a tag.

Even when it's busy, the self checkout lines move pretty quickly. It's not as well stocked as some other Targets, but it's a really convenient spot for everyday things. That said, some of the staff can have real attitude. Recently I had a few in-store non-stackable coupons, so I split my items into separate purchases. I used one coupon, paid, and then started scanning my next items for a new transaction. The woman at self checkout who needed to scan the coupon told me, "you can't split up your transaction," and refused to scan the second coupon. I asked her why not since I had already paid and was starting a new purchase, and she just huffed and walked away without helping. I still shop here because overall it's a great store, but interactions like that are frustrating and unnecessary.

I checked in every stall even outside the stalls and there was nothing... I even tried looking for a family bathroom and nowhere to be found. I asked the staff about it. They couldn't really give me a clear answer so that was pretty unfortunate..

It's been over a decade since I've been to this mall so I was very excited to return. Thankfully, the parking garage was right next to the mall, so it was a short walk to the entrance. The outdoor mall was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. We browsed in and out of a few different stores and everyone was very nice and attentive. The one store that caught our attention was Laderach, which was a Swiss chocolate store. We were able to sample truffles and chocolate bars and it was probably the best tasting chocolate we've ever had. We also stopped in to Coach and I ended up buying my daughter a cute, Coach bag. With stores like Zara, Fabletics, Alo, Louis Vuitton and Nordstrom, you truly get a great, shopping experience at this mall; there's something here for everyone. There's also ample seating as well. If you're in the Chicagoland area, this is definitely the mall to visit. You will not be disappointed!

The entire mall is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The variety of stores is impressive. Whether you're looking for luxury brands, fashion, home décor, or technology, you'll find it here. Some of my favorite stores include Apple, Nordstrom, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Zara, Aritzia, lululemon, Anthropologie, LEGO, Sephora, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, West Elm, J.Crew, Madewell, Free People, Vuori, Alo Yoga, Tory Burch, Coach, and Barnes & Noble. There is truly something for everyone. The mall also offers great dining and entertainment options, making it a perfect place to spend an entire afternoon. Whether you're shopping, meeting friends for coffee, or simply enjoying a walk, Westfield Old Orchard always feels welcoming and vibrant. If you're visiting the Chicago area and enjoy shopping, this is definitely a destination worth exploring. Highly recommended!

I had a very disappointing experience shopping for a formal dress at Macy's on Saturday afternoon…read more I was looking for a wedding guest dress, among others, for a big trip next month. I had already found several size 16 dresses that fit well and that I had set aside at the counter for purchasing. The interaction that concerned me happened when I was trying on one specific dress and asked an associate whether it was available in a size 18. The size 16 of that particular dress clipped and zipped only halfway, so I was simply asking if a larger size was available to try. Instead of focusing on the fit of that specific dress, the associate told me that I personally needed to shop in a size larger than 18, commented on the size of my stomach and directed me to the plus-size section. I understand that associates are trying to help customers find options, but there is a difference between explaining that a specific dress runs small or recommending another size and making assumptions about a customer's body. I had already found size 16 dresses that fit me well so the comment felt dismissive, presumptuous and discouraging rather than helpful. I was also uncomfortable that the associate did not want to return the other size 16 dresses I had selected following that interaction. My concern is that this is a formal/prom dress area where many customers, including teenagers, may already feel vulnerable about their bodies. Associates should focus on garment fit, style preferences, and helping customers feel confident rather than making personal assumptions about what size someone "needs." For the record, I later went to Nordstrom and found a great-fitting size 16 dress. The associate there made me feel confident and helped make the experience enjoyable. I hope Macy's provides guidance to associates on how to discuss sizing in a way that is respectful and focused on the clothing and not an individual's body, so all customers feel welcomed while shopping for important events.
