With some things in life, you just get what you pay for. Red Wing shoes are like that. They are not cheap. They will protect your feet in all kinds of adverse conditions. If properly cared for they will last nearly a lifetime. They are just nearly indestructible. I have been buying Red Wings for years. I easily have a dozen pair of various pairs of shoes and boots by now. In my experience , all of the RW stores are always a pleasure to deal with. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can get it in a couple of days. On the very rare occasion when I have had an issue, the customer service, both locally and at corporate in Minnesota, has always been enthusiastic to resolve the matter 100% to my satisfaction. I purchased a pair of $160 shoes in February of 2016. Two months ago the right soul split all the way through from the left side to the right side at the widest point. I called today to find out about repaired and not only is it out of warranty, but it can't be resold. I was sold a pair of shoes that cannot be resoled. He was more than happy to offer me $30 off of my next pair of shoes. However since my last pair of $40 Walmart shoes lasted me longer than this pair of shoes, unless somebody calls me to make this better I will never be visiting the store again and will tell all my friends that they should not be buying these shoes because the company won't back you up. I had such high expectations rom my red wing shoes. Very very disappointed. Until they split they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. But I'm not going to be replacing a pair of shoes every year. read more

Great customer service. I'm very picky when it comes to spending a lot of money on anything but felt comfortable on buying the boots I got through trying on a lot of different types and asking a lot of questions that were answered with knowledge. 18-June-18 Terrible customer service. When you first walk in the store the older guy which I assume is the manager by the way he was acting ask for your phone number. If you ever returned a pair he will throws it In Your face and automatically shows that he rather see you walk out the his store than reestablish customer trust. Been going their for the past 8 yrs and as of today I will no longer buy from Conroe location. Rather drive a little further to the spring location than deal with this guy. His also has always giving me a company discount because I would send buddy's from work to that location and this time he said well you brought back a pair and your company never established a deal with me so well no discount. What this have to do with me the customer and I have no control what the company that I work for decides to do. All he had to say sorry no discount not bring up my return from 8 yrs of buying from him and company I work for deciding not to do business with him. My boyfriend and I went into this store looking for some work boots for him. We were greeted right away by a woman (Stephanie??? I'm bad with names) with a smiling face. He knew what he was looking for so we just started to poke around, looking at the different styles. The associate pointed us in the direction of the safety boots. My boyfriend was going to pick the same style he had before just to avoid hassle of finding the right fit in another boot. The lady promptly offered to digitally measure his foot. With the info she was able to get from the machine, it was much easier to pick out the best fitting size and width in the boot he liked. She was also able recommend a proper insert as well that would help alleviate the areas he had with the most pressure while giving the best support. With her help, he was able to find one of the most comfortable pair of work boots he's ever had. Also, he had a voucher from the company he works for. The way everything was set up, it made it extremely easy and stress free to redeem the voucher and pay the difference. We'll definitely be back for future purchases and would recommend this location to anyone. The lady that was there was respectful of our purchase choices and wasn't pushy about anything. read more

Only because there is nothing less. After purchasing a good pair of boots for a college working overseas, and discussing it with the sales woman, I came back 5 weeks later after the boots did not fit my friend. The different male attendant informed me I was just out of luck, would not refund or trade, nothing, no concern about customer concerns at all. Company business not to entertain anything after 30 days, and by the way the other sales person is no longer around. Just company business was the repeated response. Fair enough, it just won't be my business, nor would I make it yours. Bad business all around. read more
