We ordered the Chicago dog (2) with fries and a cheeseburger dinner to go. This really hit the spot ! Friendly service in a large dining room with bar and music area for the Sunday bands. We loved the antiques throughout the restaurant and bar. They have a large menu including daily specials, pizza and broasted chicken. They even have a doggie menu. We will be back to dine in!

A Nice surprise! Stopped here on our way back from Lake Geneva. Their feature menu item is a stuffed hamburger and I will say it was so much better than expected. The burgers are huge. The meat is fresh, I am not sure, but I think they grind it there. The onion rings are also really good; hand dipped and battered. Great fries. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The place is rustic and maybe a little kitschy, but think of it as character.

Red's is a very unique place. My wife and I visited around 8pm on a Saturday night. We were a little apprehensive walking in, but very glad we did. It's got the old, rustic, route 66 cross country roadtrip sidestop feel. It made us wonder about the building and it's history. I had a stuffed burger and she had a pizza. Both were very good and fairly priced. We both also had a couple of drinks. Mine was a tall for only $5 which is unheard of. She had a few glasses of wine, again only $5 each. Service was pretty good. While it's certainly got a different feel than a more modern restaurant, it's still a place I'd recommend anyone give a try. We'll certainly be back.

Front dining area. Very homey and comfortable.

Excellent food, service, and decor. I had the ribeye sandwich, the poppers and a malt and all were excellent.

Ordered the macchiato with almond milk. Comes in traditional size and they had it in a paper coffee cup. I would have liked it served in a coffee mug, since I drank it in the cafe with my breakfast. I had the chicken, Swiss, and avocado skillet. Came with 2 eggs, which I asked to be cooked over easy, and hash browns. Very delicious and avocado were fresh. Also, asked for hot sauce and they only offer Louisiana hot sauce. I was only able to eat half the skillet and took the rest home. My friend has celiac disease, so they made sure her order was GF.

We arrived around 10:15am on a Saturday and the vibe was immediately welcoming. The place is super cute, featuring a coffee bar where you can sit at the counter, a few cozy couches, and even a little craft display with items for sale. Because we got there just before the rush, we were able to sit anywhere we liked. They have an extensive drink menu, and I ordered a chai latte in a mug. It was absolutely huge, smelled incredible, and tasted great. When it came time to order, I informed our server about my gluten allergy. She was incredibly accommodating and reassured me that she would alert the kitchen to keep everything separate to avoid cross-contamination. I ordered a cheddar cheese omelette with hash browns, and the food came out incredibly fast. There was a minor hiccup where my omelette accidentally came out with ham in it, but it was large enough and easy enough to just pick out, so it didn't ruin the meal. The food was overall really delicious and the service was excellent. By the time we left, the place was completely packed, which clearly speaks to how popular it is. It was a really good experience with great GF awareness, and we will definitely be back!

This local town pub starts your table off with a bowl of freshly popped popcorn to get that salty fix we all desire before indulging in an ice cold beverage. Their menu includes everything from burgers to seafood specialties. My sister gobbled up their shrimp tacos that were bursting with flavor! As for myself, I devoured their wings, as they came out hot, crisp, and spiced perfectly without having to drench them in sauces. For the first time, I brought my pup with me to enjoy sitting outside - who then proceeded to entertain fellow diners along with their live musician. My Frenchie took pictures with town residents, had a young customer take him for a walk, and even got a selfie with our waitress. Everyone treated him like a celebrity! Casual, extremely friendly, and great tasting food sums up a hometown experience you shouldn't pass up! Keep popping GROVE! Man, is this place popular. Went there last night around 7 with a friend who is familiar with it…read more I'd never been, and if you don't know it's there it is a but of a hideaway but it was packed with people so you know it must be decent. It's kind of a typical bar and grill but has live music later in the evening, looked like volleyball and other stuff outside in the summer and do on. We sat at the bar at the first available seats. I have to say they were actually very padded and comfortable easy swivel on and off seats but kinda high for this "mature" non too tall gal to climb on. Next time it's a table for me thanks. So since it was Friday, officially fish fry day, that's what we both had. They have 4-5 different types of fish and it was a toss up between fried cod or sautéed Walleye. But again, it's fish FRY Friday so Fried battered cod it is. Lots of choices for sides too. I got fries and friend had potato pancakes. I tasted them and they were probably some of the best potato pancakes I've ever had. It came with rye bread and butter and coleslaw. As usual I could pass on the Cole slaw, and I thought the rye bread looked good but kinda unusual to me. Is that a Wisconsin thing? On to the fish. Great taste, moist, not overcooked and crispy batter. What more could you want. The fries were ok, and I appreciated they were not battered orange seasoned, just plain potatoes which is what I prefer. The bartenders were on top their game, efficient and friendly and busy as bees but knew when you'd like a refill of soda or another cocktail. This is a well deserved 5 star review if you're looking to have a traditional fish fry bar experience.

Possibly the best chicken tenders I've ever had!!!…read more This place is pretty unassuming. I came for the line dancing but I'll be back for the food. The chicken tenders came with ranch and a bbq sauce and as a sauce girl I LOVED both. I had no idea this place had won awards for their burgers. Basically what I'm trying to say is I'll be back to take a stab at the rest of their menu.
