Chicken Empanada - Individual
Joshua O.

I went here earlier this afternoon to get a chicken empanada for takeout. I like how savory it was. The edges were crunchy while the center was soft and easy to chew. When I took a few bites, I noticed that there was a dark brown meat. It could be mushroom. Service was good. The employee did their job well. They bagged the food. A few people were dining inside. It was well lit. It was clean inside.

Stopped by here in 2022 and it was a decent spot, they have variety to collections including mango cake, which was great to try. The customer service is good too. We picked up some empanadas as well

This is my favorite Filipino bakery. All of the cakes here are delicious and the various pastries are great as well. So glad to have a bakery so close to home that is excellent in everything.

Stopped by during lunch to grab some butter mamon and it was delicious! I was greeted by a worker who assisted me in looking for my products. The mamon, cake slice, and chicken empanada were sooo good! Their pastries are organized neatly and place looked well kept. There are tables and chairs for dine-in customers. Can't wait to come back for cake

Ube Flan
Anika M.

Staff is very helpful and gets through the line quickly. Ube Flan- 2/10 This cake will cost you about $40. There was a 20% off sign on this cake but we paid full price. It was beyond dry and flavorless. The flan had too much gelatin and had no caramel. The ube part of the cake was so dry it was like sand texture. Also the freshness was questionable. Do not recommend this specific cake and would have rather gotten an ube roll.

Free tote bag.

Honestly this is the only location I go to. There's always parking available. There's never a line. All the greeters are nice and friendly and patient. Always clean. Of course all the food is great and it's packaged well to travel. Prepare to buy more than what you came for...always.

Ube Mamon.

What is that extra charge for "rails service" (aside from sales tax) even if the order is being personally picked up by the customer??

Both ladies were very nice, sweet, (just like the bakery), and eager to help me. There was a line, but not too long. They were about to close in an hour and both ladies cleared that line so fast. Great job!! Prices were also very affordable according to whatever they had in their displays. I had a major sweet tooth, and their delectable, decadent, aroma of their pastries was very hard to resist. They also have hot and cold beverages of every kind and a cute sitting area inside the bakery. I bought us some Gata, (an Armenian pastry). They had 2 different kinds. One with nuts in them, and one without. I got the one that had no nuts and was semisweet. I also got box of variety of sweets, that included: 2 Chocolate Eclairs, 3 Cream Puffs, & 2 Strawberry Shortcake topped with pieces of almonds. Let's not forget their beautiful, yummy cupcakes. I got 6 (variety pack). They can customize your cakes to your liking for any one of your special occasions. The place was very chic, classy and elegant. Bakery was very clean, with some Armenian/Russian music playing overhead. They can even make beautiful baskets for you to give away to someone you love, on their special occasions. They have cakes, cupcakes, chocolates, candy, variety of cookies, full cases of pastries, a platter of nuts, included various nuts. Parking, also street and metered parking. The only downside was that I wish they had an outdoor/patio seating. Next time I am in Glendale, I will definitely visit this lovely, beautiful bakery. Thank you all very much!

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that you took the time to reply, but I believe your…read moreresponse misses the main issue. Good business etiquette is simple: when a business makes a mistake, it should acknowledge it, correct it immediately, sincerely apologize to the customer, and ensure the customer leaves satisfied. That builds trust and demonstrates accountability. Instead, much of your response focuses on explaining that the price tag may have been moved accidentally by staff or customers. Those are explanations, not accountability. This was one of the last two pieces left in the display, and the incorrect price tag should have been noticed well before my purchase. As I also stated in my response to the Agricultural Commissioner of Weights & Measures Inspector, I am almost certain that after I shared my experience and reviews on social media, the pricing discrepancies would have been already corrected. If that is the case, I genuinely hope those changes help make sure future customers are charged accurately and fairly. Regarding the Kyiv cake, my concern is relatively minimal compared to the pricing issue. It simply did not taste as good as it used to. It lacked the freshness and flavor we had previously enjoyed, and it tasted somewhat stale. This is the least of my concern. What concerns me most is the lack of accountability. Businesses earn customer loyalty by owning their mistakes, not by offering explanations for why they may have happened. A sincere apology, immediate correction and a commitment to making things right would have been a much more appropriate response.

I ended up grabbing some nazook, medium lahmajun, and also decided to give the beef khachapuri kabob a try as I haven't seen that offered at other spots I've tried. Service was quick and on point and the lahmajun did take about 10-15 minutes as they make them fresh. They have a pretty expansive patio where you can enjoy your goodies and hang out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is mostly street parking, but I managed to snag a spot a few blocks away. As for the food, the nazook is amazing and better than a few other bakeries I've tried in Glendale. The lahmajun was also amazing and very flavorful with a good amount of meat. And lastly, the beef khachapuri kabob was amazing! It had that nice smoky charcoal flavor in the meat and worked well with the surrounding pastry. Definitely will be back again and bringing friends to this Glendale gem!

I'm literally walking and there valet due directed a car to damn drive into me and I literally had to say no he is not clear to go when I'm walking behind his car like he's just sitting there staring and directed him to drive into me. Interesting out of pedestrian. OK now I'm inside. I used to come here when I lived in the neighborhood and I would walk so I never really had these problems but it's like I walk in the door. It's constantly the rude customized they push you around they cut you in line they do not say excuse me. None of the staff is inviting at all and simple things like I'm ordering a chicken Gyro right above. It is a beef shawarma... I asked if I could substitute the chicken for beef instead because they're both served on pita bread one serve with hummus ones served with a white sauce. She told me now they don't have beef. They don't do beef like that and I'm like OK it's literally on your menu and I'm reading it to you and she just kept telling me no so you want a chicken Gyro no I don't want a chicken Gyro. I want a beef Gyro but I guess I'm getting forced to have a chicken one. So now I'm waiting 20min for a gyro? That's INSANE. I told her I would like to add a beverage. Will you need to go grab the drink that you want? I told her no I'm not gonna get back in the line because all of your customers in here are rude and they cut so she goes and grabs it cool things. I don't know. Just customer service here lax valet here dangerous. I say all the places in Glendale this one is in such an inconvenience spot in their manner on how they handle their clients isn't even worth coming here who does mediocre.

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. I tried the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Berries cake, Curry Croquette, and their signature iced Korean lattes. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. It was my first time trying and the spices didn't amaze my palette. I will have to try their garlic bread next time if I feel like getting something savory. Their sweets are always a hit for me! Overall, the staff was friendly and greeted customers warmly as they come in. Small parking lot at this location but still worth the wait. Good visit!

The stores are clean, the service is perfectly fine, and there's a wide selection of baked goods. That said, I find the pastries overpriced for what you get. The black coffee was also a letdown. It was so bitter that I needed to add milk to make it drinkable, and I'm someone who normally enjoys black coffee. Overall, it's a convenient option if you're nearby and there aren't any better bakeries around, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
