I went in without an appointment for a fill and pedicure. Very clean, everyone was very nice and I was seated immediately. I got the pedicure plus callous removal and I brought an inspiration picture I found on Pinterest for my nails. My nails look fabulous! (Sorry, not posting my feet pics for free )

Just walked out and this is what my fresh gel manicure looks like. Here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: They got me in immediately without any wait. Location is convenient. Huge selection of colors for gel and dip. Seems sanitary and the lady was nice. Cons: The paint is bubbled and all over my cuticles. She took less than 20 minutes for the whole service. Including to take off my old gel, buff, she did absolutely no shaping, a tiny bit of cuticle trimming and then paint. The lotion she put on smells like Lysol and she did 30 second massage each hand. Over all 6/10 Not my first choice but good in a pinch.

I had a Royal pedicure done here through my Class Pass membership App. The service was excellent, but after my Royal Pedicure, the shop owner tried to charge me an extra $7 stating that the prices had changed and they hadn't updated their prices on the app. I explained that I wasn't told this prior to the pedicure and that it was very unprofessional to change pricing after the service was completed. I won't be coming back to this location not only for this issue but also for the way the shop owner treated her staff. I had left my nail tech a $5.00 tip, which she then TOOK from him and said he owed her to pay for the $7 price difference of my Royal Pedicure. I was so disappointed with that type of behavior and although my nail tech did an amazing job, I can not recommend this shop due to the shop owners behaviors.

I love the way Holly does my nails and the way Diane does my toes! They always do exactly what I want, which is hard to find! Thank you ladies for always doing such an amazing job!!!

Scam! Got a full set here with Amy (nail tech) and came back for a fill for $22 (with gel) and came back after I broke a nail and was charged 4$ for it. I still tipped her $10 even though I was unhappy and they were crooked. Probably won't go here anymore even though it's close to home because they never put the customers first.

I am writing this review because my wife had a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience during her appointment. A male nail tech behaved in a way that was extremely inappropriate and crossed boundaries. What should have been a relaxing service left her feeling uneasy and disrespected. This is not something we take lightly, and it's deeply concerning that this behavior occurred in a professional setting where clients should feel safe and respected at all times. We hope management takes this seriously and addresses it so no one else has to experience the same discomfort. read more

second experience here I figured the first time maybe they were just having a bad day went in for pedicure. tech did not do a good pedicure and was very rude to me. left my pedicure to do eyebrows for another client. came back today for a fill asked for a simple French manicure as im trying to tell the tech Kimberly what I wanted she kept over talking me. The manager was no help I received the worst service I have ever had the technician Diane whom I requested became a different lady when I decided I didn't need a design this week and all of a sudden I had fees to remove polish that she said was gel I didn't get lotion or a massage no hot towels she said I must of forgot when I got to go pay I was shocked 52 dollars and it was maybe 15 min I waited for mgr to look at camera he couldn't see so I will never go back 115 after nails and toes and who forgets a foot message ? read more

I got my nails and toes done here, my toes came out fine but my nails were not good at all. The first day I had them the paint started to bubble, she also didn't put the acrylic all the way back to my cuticles, and one of my nails were not even to the others at all. So I called and told them so they told me to come get them fixed free of charge. I went back and the same lady did them I told her the problems she just kind of reshaped the messed up nail and repainted them. Then within 4 or 5 days, 5 of my nails broke off!! read more

I took my daughter and I there yesterday. I wanted a pedicure and she wanted her fingers and toes painted. There was another mom and daughter and then two other ladies getting serviced. The wait was not long, but I noticed they had a full kids menu and got excited because a lot of places don't do much for kids. I then requested the mani pedi for my daughter, but the lady doing my pedicure said no.. I assumed they had appointments coming in and probably didn't have time with my short notice. That's no big deal. Sarah seemed to be taking in all the walk ins and rushed through my pedicure. I was in and out before any of the other ladies being serviced. I NEVER get pedicures so this was like a once in forever treat for me and her. She starts kindergarten next week so it was a special day for us. All the ladies were really nice, just felt rushed. And to top it off not even an hour later her pinky nail completely peeled off! She came to me and said "mommy, something is poking me from my nail" so I looked and it seemed as if some paint had gotten on her cuticle and when I tried scratching it off, the entire painted nail came off in one big piece. By the end of the night all of her nails had peeled off on their own. And two of her toes peeled off. She was not picking at them. I could have just painted them myself. I'm not sure what kind of polish they use here but it's not very good quality. It looked pretty for an hour. I live an hour and a half away so I won't be going back. I'm giving two stars just because they were really nice to us but I wouldn't recommend them if you want it to last or want a relaxing time. If you're too busy just say so, we could have scheduled an appointment for a later time to get better service. They were recommended to me by my sister in law so I'm just super sad about it. But my daughter had a great time doing it so it still was special in that way. read more

I've always had a great experience here. I call ahead to schedule an appointment. Their prices are reasonable, as compared to newer nail salons in the area. I always go for a pedicure and manicure but decided to get my nails done for a special occasion. I hate the drill, and so scared that nail techs rush through the set only to cut me. BUT- I had a great experience with Holly and she was aware of my fears towards the drill and it was a great experience. This is my go to spot for my nail services. read more

I've been coming here that past two years since I moved to Menifee but was just charged $98 dollars because I decided to do gel French tip manicure and pedicure.... That is the most I have and hope will ever pay for a manicure and pedicure. Their prices have seriously become insane! This isn't a 5 star spa with Champaign to be be this overpriced. I had two ladies working on me at the same time one on my manicure and one on my pedicure which is ALWAYS uncomfortable. SMH I sadly will have to start looking for a new nail salon. read more

Honestly I saw the reviews and I was like ok let's check them out . Even though I saw some bad reviews. I should of listen. I just wanted a basic pedicure. As soon as I told her this she rushed. I have never had a 20 min pedicure in my life. The nail polish she did one coat and was done and I told her that it was streaky and she said that it's the polish not that she didn't take her time. Usually I get at least 2 coats . She told me I should of got gel it looks better that regular polish is streaky...... which yes gel is always better but I have never had it look like this! They need to learn to slow down and take time with their customers. I'm normally a big Tipper because I have worked for tips before but I was so upset I didn't even leave a tip. read more

This nail salon was welcoming, clean; followed Covid procedures, clear barriers in front and between each station. The people that worked there were very friendly. I love the way my gel manicure came out! Also, we came at 9AM and noticed it was already busy! You can come earlier or you can wait, the wait did not take too long! :) read more

I just moved to Menifee and had tried a nail salon that I did not like weeks ago. I was skeptical about trying this place due to bad reviews but I decided to give them a try and I'm sooo glad I did! I was a walk-in. They took my temperature and then started my service right away. Everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. The person who did my nails was named Lisa. Lisa took her time and was VERY detailed.. which I appreciate so much. I told her it was my birthday and that I wanted to go something a little special. She helped me choose a design and wasn't in any way rushing me. I love my nails!! Its so hard to find a good nail shop now days. This is my new spot! Thank you Lisa!! read more

I've been going to red persimmons for a few years and they've always been great but I think this would have to be the worst manicure I've ever had at any place ever. My nail edges were still jagged and rough and she didn't spread the top coat out over the whole nails as you can see from the photo. The separation of the color in the photo. Although this business has been here for the past 10 years, we are the new owner since April 2nd, 2014. Kim (new owner) has been working at a near by nails salon in Menifee for the past 9 years and is considered the best manicurest in the industry recognized by all of her customers. Because of her special skills, her loyal customers support her where ever she goes. The shop is just remodeled with the latest spa pedicure chairs, new paint, and new floor. The technician said she could do it, but the final result looked nothing like the picture. During the service, it was clear she wasn't confident with designs, as she kept asking the technician next to her for help. This is really directed to the owners, Nia and Dan, who seem to do great work and are often booked out. Unfortunately, this experience was not a good representation of your business. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend this salon unless you're specifically booking with Nia or Dan.

Thrilled to have found Letting Go in early March when Lorraine put me on a waiting list and got me in on a Friday when another customer cancelled. Perfect timing, too, because it was just a few days prior to me and my mother putting ourselves on "house arrest" because of the C-Virus scare. Although Lorraine is a "nail artist," I told her I only wanted something similar to what I have been doing a long time; purple base with glitter. I asked her, don't you have samples you can show me from a bottle? She says, "We don't do it that way here. I custom-make your gel colour and glitter to your specifications." I showed her some pix of my nails from the other salon, and she used that as a starting point. Now that I trust her implicitly, I will likely let her come up with her own purple colour and glitter ideas next time. It is nearly a month since I had the work done and only ONE nail is starting to chip so far. I hope I can hold out until my house arrest is over, like another month, by clipping the nails carefully. This is a small intimate salon, not crowded with people since is appointment only. Unlike most other salons, the technicians are not rushing, so plan extra time for this type of quality. Also, be prepared to pay more money here than at an assembly line salon, but it is worth every penny of it. (My last nail shop couldn't even get the colours straight cuz the samples were often in the wrong spot with the wrong number). That can't happen here because there are no samples with numbers! I can't wait to go back for my hands and feet, hopefully by late May!

You can also expect to be rushed out with crooked nails and gunk stuck under your fingernails

My sister requested that I take my niece to get her nails done while she stayed with me. Unfortunately, I don't get my own nails done ever so didn't know where to take her. I called a few places but no one answered their phones. It was almost the end of her visit so I decided to take her here to Red Persimmon to see if we had any luck as a walk-in. They ended up being sooo accommodating and took her right in! I didn't expect that they would be able to do any complicated designs so I was pleasantly surprised that they accepted to do the requested design and they did such an amazing job. There was a mistake in that some of the nails were supposed to be black and not green and my niece didn't mention the mistake until after I picked her up and only to me. I took her in the next day and I showed them the picture of the design and they fixed her nails right away with no additional charge. I tipped them very well for their amazing job because as an artist myself, I understand the amount of work it takes to be able to do these designs! My niece, my sister and I are very happy with their service. read more

I booked a classic manicure and pedicure, but from the moment I arrived, the staff was rude, even mocking my "leg hair," which was confirmed when other staff members laughed. They repeatedly pressured me to upgrade to gel, and when I declined due to the $45 additional cost, they continued making disparaging remarks. The situation escalated when the technician informed me that prices had suddenly increased, and I would need to pay more for the services I had already paid for, which wasn't disclosed during booking or even when I called to confirm the appointment. Despite explaining that I had already paid through ClassPass, the technician insisted I pay extra or she wouldn't perform the manicure. Feeling scammed but with no other option, I reluctantly paid and still tipped. The manager offered no help, and the service itself was subpar. I was just relieved when it was over. read more

I recently visited this nail salon and had a highly disappointing experience. Firstly, the staff member wanted to charge significantly more than what I had paid during previous visits for the same services. When I questioned this inconsistency, the staff member was incredibly rude. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I've been charged more than other customers for similar services. This lack of transparency and fairness in pricing is unacceptable. I have visited this salon twice for a gel pedicure, which I still have no complaints about. However, about 2 1/2 weeks ago, I got a Gel-X pink tip almond-shaped set for $75, plus a $5 tip. Just three days later, one of the nails popped off. I returned to have it fixed, which they did free of charge. Unfortunately, the next day, two more nails popped off. I'm disappointed with the durability of the Gel-X set, especially given the price. While I appreciate the free repair, I expected better longevity. I hope the salon can improve its application process to ensure longer-lasting results. read more
