Horrible experience here...the male who answers the phone is very disrespectful. He behaves like he just doesn't want to be bothered. Made an appt for the second time. Disappointed again. When I requested sterilization of the equipment...I was dismissed. When I asked to have a new nail file and not a used one the male technician Lee dismissed me again. Unbelievable! You run the risk of HepC,HIV, Fungal and bacterial infections. This is disgusting!! It's old and run down. Run away.... Danger!! The State should shut them down. Anyone who behaves like this doesn't care about public safety. I have reported them to the state. Maybe then...they will get it.....and the demanding only CASH? Sorry Lucky Star Nail Spa because of how my nail was treated last time, my visit to other salons (since I'm not coming back here anymore) had been negative. The technician who dug too deeply into my toenails -cut the corners at too much of an angle, and then dragged the remaining nail coming from the sides all the way to where the nail ends (where they push the cuticle)- that incident.... It took months for my nail to heal. And after it "healed" it was never the same. I've gone to 2 different nail salons after that and the service was just ok. I think mainly because instead of enjoying getting a pedicure, I'm traumatized and anxious and scared of getting another infection. Fast forward to my most recent nail salon visit (3rd one after this incident) - the nail technician did the same exact thing. She cut the sides which causes the nail to grow back into the canal causing ingrown to form. All I always ask for is to trim the nails and then round off the corners. Due to the nail growing back from THIS visit, months later the other technician from a different salon was able to dig nails out of the sides (again- even though it wasn't hurting, this lady insisted she needed to take it out). I asked for her to leave it alone as it isn't bothering me, she went ahead and said she's almost for it, if I would just sit still. Well, long story short- my nail is infected yet again. read more

Would give negative stars if I could. I was a regular here, but last several times I tried going, there were never enough employees to help customers. This time I called in advance and made an appointment because I was going out of town and really needed a pedicure. Got down there and was told they didn't have an appointment for me. Even though I showed proof on my cellphone when I had called and made the appointment. The guy that answered the phone and took my appointment was the same guy that always answers. But standing in front of him he suddenly can't remember me calling. Will never go here again. They used to have good service but in the past year it has gone to pot. Wouldn't waste my time going here. Too many other shops in Menifee that have better service. read more

My friend and I have been coming here for 10 years. It was really hard to find a good nail salon and we are glad we found this one. Toni is the best at dip powder. His nails are the only ones that stay on me more than 2 weeks (once they stayed on for a month while I went abroad). And their pedicures are well priced and always so relaxing. I reviewed some other comments that spoke about them being rude. I can understand that if you are not taking in consideration the language barrier and their culture. I do not view them rude. Their accent can come across that way because English is their second language and their mother tongue has a harsher tone to it. I am very appreciative of their hard work to open this adorable cute salon and speak to me in perfect English. They always smile when we come in and are so happy to see us. My first visit was with my daughter, this has been her go to salon since we all moved to Menifee. Lee the owner is so nice and remembers every detail about you! The pedi chairs are also massage chairs, and they have a huge selection of colors for either gel or regular polish. I would recommend calling for an appointment, but walk ins don't have to wait long.(they are honest if they are busy, will tell you to come back in an hour if there is a wait) Prices are competitive as well! read more
