I went to Red Lobster for their much advertised "Lobster Fest" and thought I would try the lobster roll. It consisted of warm lobster meat on a sweet Hawaiian roll. It was not what I expected in a lobster roll as the lobster meat was all claw and somewhat minced. No lobster tail meat at all and it was "very" small. Not worth $33 at all. If I could give this review a zero, I would. I am from out of state and never want to return to Delaware. I walked in to a place emptied, only three people on the list waiting (which I have a picture of), and the lady at the front tells me an hour wait. When asked if it is because of Covid, she said, "yes." I find that funny considering four of the booths I saw were sitting right next to each other. So, I never want to say this, but I feel like I was discriminated. Yes, reverse discrimination. The reason I say this is because others came in and were seated immediately and this person's demeanor with that party was completely different than what my party received. It is sad because this person does not know me nor knows who is in my family. Needless to say, I think this place just does not what business. We called to make reservations for 10, and they said they will not take that although it was 8:30. Not to add they said, "we will not split up either." When I said we will leave the kids home when they offered to take six, they hung up on us. When I tried to call back, the operated said, "this place is not accepting calls at this time." If you are the owner of the chain, you may need to watch who you have working for you. I will never recommend your place and this gave me a bad taste of Delaware. This was a last ditch effort to try Red Lobster as it has become increasingly disappointing. They didn't fail to disappoint AGAIN!!! The lobster flatbread was extremely salty and my wife didn't feel well the rest of the night. The pick two shrimp was palatable, although the coconut shrimp didn't have much coconut. The service was even worse. The server was running around although there weren't many customers that time of night. He kept passing by and not seeing if we needed anything. The restaurant was not clean, with the seats in the booth torn and the windows filthy. Poor food, poor service, and poor atmosphere. I should have gone to Delaware Park and maybe I would have won a trifecta rather than be disappointed AGAIN with Red Lobsters poor trifecta. was there on 08/14/2023 we were visiting family in the hospital across the street. We were all feeling a little down but our server Candy pulled us up a bit. She was so nice and took really good care of us. She said she new how we were feeling cause her mom was in there too. She checked up on us and we got are food pretty fast. The food was nice and hot. My husband and I had a date night tonight, and from start to finish the service was amazing. Our servers name was William "Will" he made our experience so good. We both hadn't been to Red lobster in well over 10 years and didn't know what to expect. The food was great but the service is what made it that much better. Will was down to earth and wanted to help us in anyway he could. Hands down one of the best servers we have ever had. This man deserves to be recognized, we will be sure to come back and make sure Will is there. The hostess was so sweet and even the girl that brought the food out. Normally when I visit a massive food chain I normally don't expect the best service/food quality but this location blew me out of the water. My co-workers and I were forced to visit this location due to the wait times at all the surrounding restaurants being extremely long. The only two positive things that I experienced at this location was the wait time, only 20 minutes, and the front staff truly tried to help me find something to eat due to my dietary restrictions. Once we were seated the experience went downhill from very fast. The waitress was very nice and tried to maintain a positive attitude but she couldn't help recover our experience. Even though the restaurant was not as packed our food took roughly 45 minutes to arrive at our tables. The waitress kept forgetting to bring our drink requests so we couldn't enjoy our beverages while we ate our food. Once the food arrived I didn't have any high expectations but they managed to mess up the simple pasta dish I ordered. The pasta was extremely under-cooked and chewy. Which is surprising since it took so long for the food to come out so I wonder what they were doing in the back kitchen. The one positive thing I can say about the food is that the chocolate cake was good mainly because I don't think they actually made the cake in-house. Towards the end of our dining experience we noticed a family of five sitting at the table next to us. They were fairly loud but we ignored them while we looked around trying to locate our waitress. The waitress disappeared once we got the food and didn't return voluntarily to our table until the table next to us started saying stuff to one of the gentleman I was with. One of the mothers yelled to our table "it's not nice to stare are kids". She accused one of the guys at my table with staring at her kids and telling her kids he was a bad guy. The gentleman was sitting next to me and wasn't even in her tables line of sight so we were very confused and why she was acting so crazy. The waitress was extremely flustered and asked us if we wanted to move tables. I'm not sure if that's the type of customers that they normally serve but I definitely will never visit another Red Lobster. The food was terrible, the staff was sub-par, and the customers we encountered were extremely aggressive. I'm not a fan of Olive Garden but take the extra 1 minute and drive to the Olive Garden. It's been a long time on the road today and this was a welcome stop. I had eaten here before in the winter and it wasn't very busy back then. Today it was also not that busy but that made the service very good they were very quick in bringing out drinks, appetizers and dinner. The food was very good. I had the crispy shrimp lettuce wraps which were new to the menu. The side Caesar salad was good but I could tell that it was a bit rushed in preparation. I was on a road trip with my wife and my in-laws when we decided to come here for dinner on our way back. There were significant traffic jams on I-95 and as we were taking the side roads, we came across this Red Lobster and decided to pull in for dinner. After all, my wife and I both love lobster and it was getting late and so we thought to ourselves - why not? To start, let me note that while Red Lobster is one of my preferred chains, my experience that evening wasn't great. The Lobster Fest was in progress and we ordered dishes from the lobster fest menu but found them disappointing.My wife had the Bar harbor lobster bake while I had the Roasted Maine lobster bake. Both dishes came with a ton of pasta which were a complete distraction. In bakes, I would want to see things like baked potatoes or corn on the cob, not very lightly seasoned pasta (Linguine, to be precise). In fact, when we had ordered these very dishes two years back at another lobster-fest event, we recall that the preparations were more to our liking and therefore that evening's dinner came as a disappointment to both of us. My brother-in-law had the lobster shrimp and salmon combo and he too remarked that he did not find it very special. All in all - the food tasted quite bland and the presentation was also very uninspiring. My second (and relatively less important) complaint was that I had let my server know that it was my wife's birthday - the 14th of April - but he did not recognize it in any manner whatsoever. We ordered two desserts for our table and one of them could have been provided on a complementary basis as we have seen at other restaurants. Alternatively, and perhaps just as easily, the servers could have come out and sung a little happy birthday song for my wife (and they did do that at two adjoining tables during the course of our meal) but that didn't happen. Again that was a disappointment. Maybe this is in sharp contrast to a Capital Grille where we had gone for our last anniversary and where we were spoiled with two glasses of free champagne, a complementary dessert, and a card at our table wishing us happy anniversary. I realize that the two restaurants operate at different tiers but still not having my wife's birthday recognized in any manner after I let my server know of it was a little disappointing. Would I not come to Red Lobster again? No - I would come. However, the chain went down by a notch in my ranking of places to go to and when I would come in, it would be with lower expectations. read more

She was not engaged with us at all, and it took her 20+ mins to serve us even trying to get something to drink. Observe the pictures I uploaded one picture is suppose to be Spicy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps but you can see the shrimp if you see any not wrapped in lettuce but they did provided a half of head of lettuce. As we were eating, there was a foul smell and we weren't sure what it was.
