Our steaks were always overcooked and need to return to the kitchen! However, curbside pickup was horrible every time! I had burned veggies, overcooked steaks and missing condiments each time, even though I had it indicated online and receipt.....today, We ordered two Wednesday lobster & 7 oz steak special, steaks came out so much smaller than dine-in at restaurant. We came here for a birthday celebration and I was surprised at how amazing the staff treated our large party. We had two male waiters that were so awesome. They kept the cake a surprise and even put the candles on for us. The place was clean. Only thing that I didn't like was how hot the water gets in the bathroom. My daughter burnt her hands right after turning the faucet on and it was in the middle of hot and cold. The food was good, better than a place we recently ate at in Monterey. I love the stuffed mushrooms and coconut shrimp. I had two strawberry mojitos, I don't like that they chop up the mint. It makes the mint come up through the straw. On 9/28/22 I took my 92 year old Mother to have lunch. Our waiter Jordan H greeted us and got our order started. I ordered Cesar salad and Mom got house salad. My Cesar salad was not fresh it had rotten lettuce in it. I brought it to Jordan's attention and asked for a house salad as it appeared fresher. Jordan noticed we were out of vread and offered us some more we said yes. We waited for our lunch. Jordan never once came to check on us. Jordan was very attentive to the people at the table next to us, do you need anything, more bread, can I get you something else, like overdoing olit on purpose. We are our meal. My Mom is hard of hearing so I have to speK to her loudly. She speaks Spanish. We enjoyed ourselves as much as possible. Jordan never brought our bread, topped our drinks off or checked on us as we dined. When it was time for our tab he came over with a little different demeanor. He pointed out the tips portion. I was like what tip you did not even attend us after our food was out. I wanted to pay with my credit card and he said I had to use machine on table he the circled tip area stating the percentage of tip. We finished paying and we're walking out. Then I her Jordan with a very sarcastic tone saying thank you for the tip. He then said I can wash your car for you too just let me know when. One of his peers said oh I didn't know you wash cars, you can wash mine. I was so offended by his comments and customer service. Did he say that because we are Mexican? When we got home I called the restaurant 3 times to speak to manager Farhad Maroufkhani first 2 times I was transferred to a phone line that stated no one was available to take the call and it hung up. We recently went to the Modesto CA location for our Son's birthday. 2 of the orders were for Shrimp - choose 3. We were charged for unlimited Shrimp on both orders and never received either side order (frys). The server never came to check on us until we were finished eating. No drink refills or to resolve the issue missing sides. I called within a couple of hours of leaving to try to resolve and spoke to Erica who apologized and agreed to credit my account but that never happened. If I could give them zero stars I would. While the charge in error and missing frys was likely only worth Around $20+ or so of a $146 bill, they should have credited me at least $40-$50 for all the issues we went through. Terrible service especially considering we arrived early and they were not very busy. In addition, the manager was too busy to take my call. I'm not often surprised, but red lobster surprised me. I hadn't been here since dinner w my parents when I was in junior high. But guess what? I remembered their cheddar biscuits. Whoever is responsible for these biscuits deserves major props. They're rich, flavorful, & addictive. The fish in the fish & chips were great. The batter for the fish is light & a tad sweet. A definite win. The best thing about the lobster pizza? That would be that it's lobster pizza. The novelty of it wore off pretty quickly, after a few bites of the overcooked lobster & the oily base. Everytime I go to Red Lobster I like even less. This last time, we were given a 45 minute wait. I went into the bar to have a beer. I sat at a table next to the bar and was immediately told that unless I ordered food I couldn't just have a beer. The bar area was deserted except the bar stools. I went outside as there was no other seating inside. People and more people waiting to be seated. Is this any way to treat your guests? When our party of five finally seated (in the bar) we found they have changed their menu. The Loster Fest changed. NO CRAB LEGS. And terribly expensive.
