I don't even really know where to start with this review. I'm giving two stars because most of the food was fine. Albeit lukewarm. Everything else was terrible. We spent $200 on dinner and the service was just abysmal. We spotted our server no less than three times standing around talking to other staff. And this was AFTER he had gone to get us something (silverware, drinks, a box) but before bringing it to us. Every time there was an issue, he either made an excuse (other tables wanting to cash out) or shifted blame (the hostess should've brought you your silverware). We received our first appetizer before our drinks, napkins, or silverware. And everything after that took much longer to receive. Our water never once checked-in and reassured us our food was coming. Our waiter seemed completely disinterested in us and hardly gave us any attention. I ordered the filet mignon and it was bland and I barely ate half. I'm not even sure it actually was the filet. When I told the manager about it, she gave us a measly 10% off which didn't even cover the cost of the steak. The waiter took forever to bring us a box and never came back with the check. I had to track down the manager to pay because our waiter was off chatting again. I don't expect high-end food or service from Red Lobster, but I at least expect attention, professionalism, and quality in service. We got none of the above. read more

I hadn't been to Red Lobster in several years, so thought I'd try it again. We met there at 12:30 p.m. on a Thursday. They said we could be seated right away in the bar area. We were the only table there (2 people) at first, so thought the service would be pretty good. It was horrible! Very, very slow and the server forgot to bring some of our order. The food was ok, but the poor service and not receiving what we ordered definitely detracted from our experience. I doubt I'll ever go back. read more

Went around dinner time. Place was a little confusing to get into, as the back of the restaurant faces the main street. Took a seat at the bar and there were two very friendly barkeeps ready to assist me. Got my drink straight away and was able to order some food. Got the surf and turf. Everything was excellent and just how I asked it to be cooked. Really no complaints here. Food was great, service was great, even the bathrooms were very clean and well-stocked. We've come here off and on for many years. Probably not anymore. A long wait so we had a glass of wine each at the bar and paid more than at the airport, which if you are a traveler you know what I mean. Two people working the bar but they said they are understaffed and couldn't wait on tables, huh? After a long wait to be seated, more sticker shock with all the food price increases. We selected our food and then had another very long wait. The food, steak and lobster, wasn't worth the wait or the price. Just ok. The restaurant is understaffed and underwhelming. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I hadn't been to a Red Lobster in about ten years because my last visit (which was at this same location) the food was very low quality for the price. However, since my family had been given Red Lobster gift cards for Xmas, my wife and I decided to roll the dice and give this place another try on a date night. Welp! I'm glad I avoided this place this whole time and will continue to also in the future. We were sat at a booth and given menus immediately, which was probably the only good thing but made sense since the place was over halfway empty. After waiting ten minutes without anyone approaching us, my wife and I began to get anxious. We started noticing other people being attended that had arrived after us. We began looking around, picking up and setting down our menus and still nothing. We were never approached by our server nor were our drink orders taken like other tables. After waiting another five minutes, I noticed an employee motion to another employee about our table, and she merely shrugged and continued about her business. That's when I told my wife that we should leave. We got up and began walking out, and not one person seemed concerned that we were leaving. This place is the worst restaurant in Modesto. Please steer clear of this place if you want good service. read more

We went here on one of our date nights. The meal was okay. The bar drinks were the best item we had that night. The worst part of our experience was the cockroach that scampered across our dining table. We were able to catch it with the bottom of a cup. Ever since Red Lobster add new items to their menu and add rewards. My husband and I both dine-in at least twice a month. Experience not exceptionally great but satisfied. Our steaks were always overcooked and need to return to the kitchen! However, curbside pickup was horrible every time! I had burned veggies, overcooked steaks and missing condiments each time, even though I had it indicated online and receipt.....today, We ordered two Wednesday lobster & 7 oz steak special, steaks came out so much smaller than dine-in at restaurant. One weighed only 4.6 oz , other one was 4.9 oz! Over 2oz shrinkage?!! I hope Red Lobster management pay more attention to qualities, standards and training. So we ended up going to a Sizzler not far away (along with 3 other couples that she told the same thing to while I was trying to find another place) and not only was the steak and all you can eat shrimp excellent, the service was excellent as well. We came here for a birthday celebration and I was surprised at how amazing the staff treated our large party. We had two male waiters that were so awesome. They kept the cake a surprise and even put the candles on for us. The place was clean. Only thing that I didn't like was how hot the water gets in the bathroom. My daughter burnt her hands right after turning the faucet on and it was in the middle of hot and cold. The food was good, better than a place we recently ate at in Monterey. I love the stuffed mushrooms and coconut shrimp. I had two strawberry mojitos, I don't like that they chop up the mint. It makes the mint come up through the straw. The steak was a sirloin and I had a bite thinking it wouldn't be that tender but it was very good. I had all you can eat soup, salad and biscuits. The lobster bisque was delicious and the salad was great. It's hard to stop eating those delicious biscuits. BUT the best part of everything was the service we received from Leticia. On 9/28/22 I took my 92 year old Mother to have lunch. Our waiter Jordan H greeted us and got our order started. I ordered Cesar salad and Mom got house salad. My Cesar salad was not fresh it had rotten lettuce in it. I brought it to Jordan's attention and asked for a house salad as it appeared fresher. Jordan noticed we were out of vread and offered us some more we said yes. We waited for our lunch. Jordan never once came to check on us. Jordan was very attentive to the people at the table next to us, do you need anything, more bread, can I get you something else, like overdoing olit on purpose. We are our meal. My Mom is hard of hearing so I have to speK to her loudly. She speaks Spanish. We enjoyed ourselves as much as possible. Jordan never brought our bread, topped our drinks off or checked on us as we dined. When it was time for our tab he came over with a little different demeanor. He pointed out the tips portion. I was like what tip you did not even attend us after our food was out. I wanted to pay with my credit card and he said I had to use machine on table he the circled tip area stating the percentage of tip. We finished paying and we're walking out. Then I her Jordan with a very sarcastic tone saying thank you for the tip. He then said I can wash your car for you too just let me know when. One of his peers said oh I didn't know you wash cars, you can wash mine. I was so offended by his comments and customer service. Did he say that because we are Mexican? When we got home I called the restaurant 3 times to speak to manager Farhad Maroufkhani first 2 times I was transferred to a phone line that stated no one was available to take the call and it hung up. On third try I spoke to Christina one of the Managers per her statement. I explained what happened and told her it was very disappointing, disrespectful and rude of Jordan, she stated she would talk to him.
