Garlic Shrimp Scampi

Haven't been to red lobster in a long time. But not much has changed. The prices are good and the service was great. It did get a little pricier but that's with every chain restaurant. We were seated right away on a Wednesday afternoon for a party of 6. I wish I remember the name of our waitress cause she was awesome, no complaints. The food was good as well.

My colleague's meal seemed to be lacking but I was unsure why.

A quick add to my prior review. I took a friend there and noticed that the service had slipped a bit. It was so spotty that my colleague was getting annoyed and considering leaving. The issue seemed to be a handoff when the person who seated us went on break, or went home and didn't inform the person who followed her. The colleague fussed a bit on the quality as well. (I was good with the meal I had but, I am a bit more tolerant.) This is sad to see as once great chains sometimes decline over time. I would hate to see Modesto lost another.

1 Rock Lobster Tail and 1 Maine Lobster Tail + 2 sides of Mashed Potatoes. Of course the cheddar bay biscuits were perfect

I've visited once and got take out once since their rebranding and I can honestly say I'm extremely impressed! This store in particular provided AMAZING customer service, good food and drinks, was clean and much brighter than it was when we last visited a few years ago. I unfortunately did not get good pictures of the food but I'll post the crappy pics I was able to take lol. I will say the sirloin is tasty but is definitely a little tough. Will continue to dine in and take out tho!

First, how are you a red lobster Fortune 500 Company and your main items is crabs and you don't have crack crackers for your crabs. You only have three in th Resturant. After talking to the manager to find out why they don't have any crap crackers her explanation was the head manager orders them and it takes a while and then to get in and customers take them so they have to come up with a different plan on putting them on the customer trays because they only had three in the whole place tonight And I suggested that the server need to not suggest crab if they don't have the crackers she says was a hit and miss because some people we might have available We might not but to solve the problem. She found me one and I enjoyed the dinner. It was my dinner and I made a reservation because she went out her way to make sure I had one for a big party in two weeks. Von was my server- and a great job he did

Leticia is amazing! My fiance and I have been coming to this location for years and Leticia is by far the best waitress we've had. She made us feel welcomed and like family the entire visit. Very personable and attentive. She definitely has the right drive and heart for the job. She explained all of the specials and new menu items and gave us refills on our drinks and biscuits without us having to ask. We hope to be helped by her again on our next visit. Side note: the new crab topped mashed potatoes are delicious! I hope they stay on the menu. I prefer them over the lobster topped mashed potatoes. Thank you again Leticia if you see this. You're amazing! :)

Excellent service from Brenda at the bar. Very attentive and friendly. Today was lobster on my birthday! Soft tender and sweet. Great seaside atmosphere even here in Modesto.

Unlimited shrimp menu / extra coconut shrimp dip, my absolute favorite.

I love Red Lobsters Ultimate Endless Shrimp. It's hard to order anything else. It used to be a seasonal thing, but they made it a permanent staple for the moment the waitress told us. I asked for extra of my favorite pina colada dipping sauce for my coconut shrimp, and they more then provided me with enough. We did have to wait a long time for our next order of all you can eat shrimp each time we asked for more. If you coconut shrimp, this is my favorite to date, especially because of the dipping sauce.

My party was seated fairly quickly. Our waitress took all our orders by memory - we were a party of 8! I got the Chicken Marsala: Chicken, sauce, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I started off with the mixed veggies - they were cooked soft, just how I like them. They were also flavorful! Not just regular ole steamed frozen veggies, they definitely were buttered and seasoned or something. Next, the mashed potatoes. I'm not a mashed potato connoisseur - matter of fact, I usually skip eating mashed potatoes when they're available. These mashed potatoes however were so flavorful! And it was not only the gravy doing all the talking, it was both the mash and the gravy. I was impressed! Lastly, the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, moist on the inside & fully cooked - and with chicken breast, we all know how hard that is to accomplish. The sauce was incredible. I have never had any Marsala sauce as good as that. So much flavor, very savory. Altogether, the flavors worked together and worked perfectly. If only I wasn't an hour away, I would come here more often. I hope to be here again someday!

Unfortunately the bread was not edible due to the taste of old grease. I simply discarded the bread and ate the 2 piece of turkey and bits of bacon. My son enjoyed the Tri-itip, but again the grilled bread tasted of old grease. He enjoyed the fries as well. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but at these prices, and the taste of old grease from the grill, I could not recommend this restaurant. The bill was $39.97 and we did not have anything to drink! Go democrats! Lol!

I'm always up to trying new restaurants and when we were invited here, I was pleasantly surprised…read more I hadn't heard about this restaurant. There are a few restaurants that share the parking so there is very limited parking. We had to go around twice to find a parking spot. We had reservations and were sat promptly. They had live music playing in the background, which is nice. We couldn't see it so I didn't know where they were at. It is designed in a circular way where the bar is in the middle so you cannot see across. We were greeted by our server and he was very attentive. He gave us some great recommendations and he was very pleasant. We started with the fig bruschetta and that was a 10 out of 10. It had little bacon bits on top which added a layer of flavor. We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .

The vibe was super chill and inviting, especially with the live music playing. It created such a relaxed, fun atmosphere where we could just unwind and keep enjoying our time together. We ended up sharing a pizza, which was actually really good, and paired it with dessert cocktails that hit the spot. Everything felt easy and enjoyable, not rushed at all. The staff was really nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The inside has a modern feel to it very clean, stylish, and just a really comfortable space to hang out. What I loved most was the overall energy of the place it felt like a great mix of cozy and lively at the same time. Perfect for winding down, catching up, and just enjoying the moment. Definitely a place I'd come back to for a relaxed night out with good music, drinks, and bites

As any parent knows, this is not just a toy, it's everything. We were heartbroken. Not only did the staff find her, but they went completely above and beyond in the most thoughtful and creative way. They turned a stressful situation into something magical and unforgettable for my daughter. It meant more to us than they probably realize. On top of that, the food was excellent and the service during our visit was just as wonderful, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. This is the kind of place that truly cares about their customers. We'll absolutely be back, without Baby Bear as she is officially on house arrest! We'll be telling this story for years to come.

Delicious as always…read more My family and I decided to stop by Texas Roadhouse to use up some gift cards. This was on the Friday night before Valentine's Day, around 6:15pm. We called ahead to put ourselves on the list to be seated. We arrived at the parking lot a few minutes before our scheduled time, texted that we arrived, and were immediately told to head to the host table. When we got to the front of the restaurant, we noticed that they had a different set-up than the last time we ate there. Rather than checking in inside, you must meet the host outside. This did not seem to be the most organized system as it led to a large crowd of people waiting at the front. There was the vague idea of a line which turned out to just be a mass of people cutting each other to get to the host table. We quickly met the host who immediately sent us to the indoor waiting area. We were told to wait at a specific number for the host to take us to our table. We waited there for about 5 minutes before we were taken to the outside seating area. As someone who is young and doesn't mind loud music, I would say the volume of the music in there was outrageous. I understand that that is the vibe of the place, but I have never been in a restaurant so loud that I can't hear the person sitting directly next to me. Our waitress came quickly to take our drink orders, bring them back, and take our food orders. I ordered the nine piece grilled shrimp and substituted the rice for a Caesar Salad. For my sides, I got the Loaded Baked Potato and Mac n Cheese. The salad was brought out first and I was genuinely surprised at how much dressing was on it. I usually like a salad with heavier dressing, but this was almost too much. The salad was literally swimming in the dressing to the point of it being soggy. When they brought the entrees out, I noticed that they didn't actually substitute the rice and brought it out anyway (but hey I'm not going to complain)! The shrimp was nice and juicy. The rice was seasoned nicely and the mac n cheese with cheesy and hot. It didn't have the most flavor but it wasn't bad. The loaded baked potato was extremely loaded. I am grateful that they are generous with the toppings, but there was so much bacon I had to scrape some of it off. I was extremely satisfied with my meal, as were my parents who joined me. Our server was very friendly! She came by to check on refills and to ask if we needed anything often. The food came out quickly and as ordered. Everything was basically perfect! I would just prefer to not be seated in the stiff outside tables. Can't wait to go back!

They were just good people who enjoyed what they did and that was awesome. The only annoying thing was it took three tries to get someone to bring a container so we could take one of the sandwich wraps home. The restaurant was clean, spacious, well lit, and cheerful. I appreciated the theme of the movie posters on the wall. That was clever. The food on the other hand was just ok. The fries lacked flavor on their own and could use salt or something. If it wasn't for the garlic on the one fries and whatever it was my wife had on hers those fries would have had no flavor at all. The wrap could have used more dressing, otherwise it was really bland. I had the burger with the egg on it. I forget the name. It had the same problem. Just a lack of flavor. The egg was overcooked. It would have been better if it was sunny side up so the yolk could run. I think it had bacon on it and cheese but I didn't taste either of those. The entire burger was just unremarkable sadly. Would I eat here again? Probably not. If I want a good place to go hang out with friends who work then sure. The staff was great. I just wish the food measures up to how cool they were.
