Then our server Angel ... ONE OF THE BEST! He was being 100% authentic in everything he said and did and his energy just radiated positivity. He made recommendations, ensured our food and drinks were perfect, was proactive in bringing additional biscuits and thinking ahead about anything we might need so that we didn't have to ask. Me and my fiancée went here for a date night to celebrate the anniversary of our first date. The service was very good and our waiter, Shawn, was awesome. He made sure that we were checked in on in a timely manner and that he got all the orders written down correctly. The food came out at a good pace, and everything was delicious. I'm from Philly and usually visit my local Red Lobster when having a craving, but so glad I visited the Delran, NJ location. 10/10 all around. The host greeted my toddler with an offer to touch one of the lobsters out of the tank. Our waitress was the kindest soul I've ever met and was more than accommodating to my daughter's food allergies. The food came out fast and was delicious! The food is usually OK. They fall short on service, curbside to be specific. Nothing is more irritating than ordering online and tipping, and having to go inside and wait an additional 15 minutes after tipping. Annoying. NO ONE earned that tip if I'm picking up my own order. read more

Went to Red Lobster with my wife it appeared to be almost empty we waited up front at the entrance almost 10 minutes then we called . Trying to figure out if we just seat ourselves. Finally someone came and seated us . We ordered our drinks with the waitress she informed us she was waiting tables plus bartender ok. Let's talk about the drink 1st I ordered a Tropical punch. It was horrible the waitress was heavy handed with the liquor and it taste like the nasty cough medicine from back in the day . I ordered the stuffed flouder which came with 2 sides I got the mash potatoes and broccoli. The whole meal was horrible . It lacked any kind of taste even after adding some of there sea salt it was a big disappointment. Ordered dessert the chocolate wave cake which came with ice cream and fudge sauce . It was ok. The waitress was friendly but not concerned enough to care about our dissatisfaction. I am sitting in the restaurant now. The moment I came in I informed the front desk not to seat me near kids. The fries came out cold. We had to send them back. Nothing against kids, but I was trying to have a romantic night out. The lights were perfectly dimmed. It took a bit longer than expected to get the drinks but they were great from the sip I took. The food was brought to the table and from the few bites I tasted, it was good. Then, someone came in with their kid and was seated across from us. All of the sudden, the lights were brightened. Totally ruined the mood. Ok so my wife and I are regulars there we eat at the bar. Today I ordered the steak and lobster special. The steak was a filet mignon. I ordered it medium it came out medium rare, so no big deal I sent it back and they zapped it. So it comes back and is so tough and fatty it's inedible. We asked if they would take it off and my waitress who was really nice got her manager. She proceeds to take 10% off the bill although it was 50 % of the meal. So short sighted. Offer up a free dessert then or another drink. Just not a good way to handle it. read more

Standard Red Lobster. I have to say I think red lobster has done a good job with their menu and options, this one in particular is very clean and has gotten much better since I was younger. I don't typically hit chains just because they kind of bore me and you usually get low quality stuff. Family wanted to do dinner here and who can turn down their biscuits!? Had the lobster spinach and artichoke dip, pretty decent app. A bowl of clam chowder (my fav), it was huge and actually not bad. Caesar was good quality. And I had the lobster and shrimp combo meal special thing. Pretty good with a decent price of $21. Overall not bad, service was a little slow, very nice though but the bar was backed up and we waited a while for food. If I could I'd give 3.5 stars but 4 is closer to how I really feel about this trip. read more

Had a fantastic experience here last night. My family was meeting our daughter's boy friend from Scotland so I needed a venue for a dinner party of 12. We tried a nearby run of the mill diner and arrived at 6 pm, a place that did not take reservations. When we got there we were told there'd be a 10 minute wait. 30 minutes later we were still waiting and it didn't seem like the proprietors were really interested in seating us. My nephew called this Red Lobster down the street and was told they'd seat us right away. We all tramped down there and were given a marvelous table for 12 in a lovely room in the back where we could be boisterous (as we tend to be). The wait staff was marvelous. The food turned out to be pretty good and this place served alcoholic beverages with a selection for a chain was not bad. I had a salmon dish with asparagus that was very nice. What was really terrific was we had two in our party who were vegetarian and you can imagine that Red Lobster had NO options for them on the menu. BUT they actually concocted a special dish of pasta, cheese, string beans and asparagus that my wife and daughter said was quite tasty. I was very pleased. Two of us went in wanting to share and eat the unlimited endless shrimp for $20. Told by our server we were not allowed to share our food. My partner just said that he will not eat. We received the food and I asked for more biscuits. However, she said that she is not taking any more refills for the shrimp because the manager said so. When we asked why and where does it say the deal is only for one per person, we were told that is how it's always been. Will not be returning. We haven't been to Red Lobster in quite a long time, so, as a treat, my husband took me to dinner at our local RL. I should have said something but I was trying to Not be a complainer. We were sat in the back section which is Freezing COLD!! Why would they sit anyone back here. I was never a fan of Red Lobster as a kid but as an adult I have grown to like some of their dishes and my favorite is the Bahama Mama drink. I usually go to the Red Lobster in Cherry Hill, NJ but we decided to try this one. I don't think we will be going back to the Red Lobster in Cherry Hill. I always loved Red Lobster so I asked my son to take me there for lunch today. What a mistake! We were seated and after 25 minutes of being ignored I went to find someone to take our order. We ordered our drinks and lunch including an app. After 15 minutes the waitress came back to tell my son the IPA he ordered wasn't available. He ordered a Miller Lite. After another 15 minutes she said they were out of that beer. He finally ordered a soda. We waited another 15 or 20 minutes, she brought my salad but said his stuffed mushrooms weren't ready yet. When she finally brought them but we had had enough. We asked her to box them and paid our bill. We started waiting for her to box his mushrooms but got tired of waiting and just left. I was very pleasantly surprised by my lunch experience at Red Lobster! This location is close to my grandmom's house, and since she was treating my mom and me to lunch, it was grandmom's choice. The restaurant was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated. We were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly empty so I gather their weekday lunch is pretty slow. This makes it a perfect choice for a lunch with family members or even just a quick lunch if you're on the go. Lunch prices are extremely reasonable. When I first heard we were going to Red Lobster, I fretted over whether there would be any healthy options. To my surprise, there were plenty! I love the lunch combo where you can pick two types of seafood and a side. They have several fresh vegetable options in addition to standards such as baked or mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, etc. My lunch of shrimp scampi, broiled scallops and fresh broccoli felt like a splurge even though it was totally reasonable, calorie-wise. Our server, a petite woman with dark hair, was so sweet and accommodating. We ordered some food to go for my grandfather, and our server made sure he had plenty of biscuits and everything he'd need for a good meal back at home. We all agreed that this lunch was a great fit for everyone and we'd be happy to go back! read more

I know seafood comes from the ocean, but that is the exact point you don't need to add a pound of salt to seafood. It says "wild caught" flounder with their signature stuffing and two sides... Their signature stuffing is primarily rice flour, breadcrumbs, and water with a few bits of seafood that you cannot pick up with a fork, bits slide right through since they're not larger than a grain of rice or big enough to pierce with a prong. I don't think it's "wild caught flounder," it taste like Swai which is farm raised catfish. Its a half fillet of Swai at that..."Wild flounder" has a slight fish flavor and is MUCH firmer, this was soft/mush textured bland flavor reminiscent of a fillet masked in cover-up, The amount of SALT in this platter made me stop eating it after the 2nd bite of broccoli. Maybe 2 minutes, I had to bring it home and reheat it for dinner and try to stretch out the ingredients that made my blood pressure rise inadvertently. Chef is unaware or they shake everything out of a box or bag. I wanted to give this red lobster a second chance months later because all previous times in a year I had gone here were atrocious, I think I would be better dumpster diving at the Wawa down the corner before going here again. Next time you pass this red lobster and you only see two or three cars in the parking lot, it's a reason, their management needs to be replaced. I don't leave bad reviews for places, but this RL deserves it, management won't even own up to their failure or at least try to make it better with their patrons. I can say to them to keep the two or three live lobsters in your tank in because by the time somebody orders them there should be no meat in the tail at all anyway and you'll get a reaffirmation of this review, and then people will just get a frozen tail that is rubbery and tough. Although I visit this Red Lobster once a year and receive about the same service, I wanted to write a review on my experience last night with their online ordering option. While I don't dine here often, I'm guessing this is a new feature. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick take out for dinner last night and I really had a taste for coconut shrimp. I decided to go online and look at the menu. Lo and behold, there was an option online to order from the website, which in all cases makes life super convenient. We placed our orders through the online ordering system and it stated our order would be done in 20 mins. By the time my boyfriend arrived the food was finished and everything we ordered was there, so I was definitely surprised. While I do love their coconut shrimp and must say it was pretty delicious, everything else was average at best. My boyfriend wasn't too impressed with his ultimate feast and was very disappointed in his crab legs which were very small. read more
