As always the food was delicious. Service was excellent. Atmosphere delightful and beautiful. My only complaint was that we had a reservation at 6pm (checked in minutes prior) and we stood in waiting area amongst many others for over 45 mins and still didn't get our table. It wasn't until I complained almost an hour later that we got seated. We were given a complimentary appetizer for the inconvenience and they did apologize and provide excellent service there on out. However my feet are still hurting the next day from standing in heels waiting for a reserved table an hour after my scheduled time. It was a special occasion and I understand a little bit over but not nearly an hour. Unacceptable. I still love it here and will be back but not for a holiday or special occasion where they clearly overbook.

Ate here on Wednesday July 16 2025 with my husband and nephew for lunch and it was delicious. The waiter was very nice and the meal was simply scrumptious. Best flash fried lobster I've ever eaten. The salad was nice and fresh too.

Outstanding! I dined with my two daughters early on a Sunday evening after shopping at the mall. We enjoy Capital Grille for special occasions and have always had a good experience. Our visit this time was exceptional. We were seated promptly and our server, Mary, an absolute star, quickly greeted us and got us set up with water and bread. We ordered drinks- a dirty martini, a chocolate martini and an "in" fashion-all excellent. We decided to have various starters including the clam chowder, the blue cheese wedge and the beet salad, all very good. For mains we each had a filet, and we shared sides of au gratin potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. The steaks were excellent and everything was on time and on temperature. But where the experience was elevated was in Mary's charming, attentive and fun service, but most importantly in her handling of my daughter's fish allergy. My daughter knows how to navigate a menu and to ask questions to make sure fish isn't used in certain dishes (you'd be amazed where fish sauce can sneak into a meal, for example in Worcestershire sauce, Caesar dressings, deep fryers, etc.), and she did so with Mary. Mary was great at listening and checking everything with the chef to make sure it was safe. My daughter did not ask to have a fish allergy, and she handles it well, but often at restaurants she can be made to feel that accommodating her is a big problem. But that was not the case here at all. Mary made my daughter feel special, and cared for, not an annoyance. The chef, unprompted by us, even went so far as to prepare a safe version of the bernaise sauce especially for my daughter. I much appreciated this level of care. We also had red wine and finished by sharing a coconut cream pie. All in all a delightful meal. Highest recommendation.

Reservations were made for Valentine's Day dinner, wait time upon arrival was about 15minutes and it was very busy as they began trying people away without reservations. All couples were provided a rose when seated (I unfortunately didn't receive this treatment). My date asked for a rose and then gave us rolls () so he decided to get up and grab one for me. The calamari was LIGHTY breaded and fried, a little too light for my liking. Some pieces weren't fired at all. What's dinner without the sides? We both ordered the Dry Age NT strip steak with the au gratin potatoes, lobster Mac n cheese , Brussel sprouts, and truffle fries . I would pass on the truffle fries but all other sides were delicious. On to the drinks, the mango royale packed a punch and the passion fruit mojito was tasty. Too full for dessert this go round. Soft dim lighting. Valet parking is offered and a parking lot is near but can be crowded so valet is a nice option.

this place is an absolute treat. everyone in my party of four loved the food, ambience, and service. we will definitely be back. the only comment I have is I would prefer the sides to be included in the main meal, not as an a la carte/for the table type of deal. that's really more of a preference though. everything was fantastic.

We absolutely love Capital Grille but had never tried the Cherry Hill location...we're so extremely happy we did! The service, ambiance and food were amazing! It's great to know we can get the same wonderful Capital Grille experience at all the locations!!!

The quality of food and service is very good here. We ordered several dishes and everything tasted good. The place is beautiful too.

I loved this whole meal. From the bread to the free birthday dessert. We had such a great dinner and can't wait to go back soon!

The server was extremely attentive and the food was cooked to perfection. Great spot for date nights or after work celebrations! Highly recommend the calamari and the lobster bisque for appetizers. The calamari is crispy and has a slight kick from the peppers. The lobster bisque is thick and creamy with a light lobster flavor. For entrees, the standouts are the lamb chops and the seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails. The lamb chops come with 4 gigantic chops! The lobster tails are tender, the simple butter sauce is amazing. For sides, the Brussels sprouts is the way to go. It's savory, crunchy, and super addicting.

The restaurant is beautiful and ambiance what one would expect from a nice steakhouse, with relaxing music, friendly staff and non-rushed vibe. We ordered steaks, filet mignon and sliced filet with mushrooms and whipped potatoes and creamed corn for our sides. The complimentary bread basket was awesome, loved the variety of breads and the salted butter. Our steaks were just okay and needed a good dose of salt and pepper. The potatoes also seemed to need a pinch of salt, and the creamed corn was just okay. Still, it was nice to relax with good conversation and a leisurely meal in a beautiful space.

Great lunch! If not for the price tag ... we'd be here every week, but definitely good for a special occasion. We were started off with some nice crusty bread ... which went well with the clam chowder (albeit too few clams and missing any clam flavors). DH and I really enjoyed our calamari appetizer (tender but maybe a bit greasier than we liked) ... his ahi tuna steak with truffle fries (sushi grade done perfectly) ... and my lobster salad with lump crab upcharge (oh my, sooo good). Maybe we'll try some other things when we go back ... except the lobster salad, which is a MUST!!

First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.

This was only my second time at the Chop House (my first being about year ago for my wife's…read morebirthday) even though my wife's family are what you could call regulars. My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

He checked on us through out our meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the calamari and dozen raw oysters which were both fresh and delicious. We had the Chophouse steak experience which worked out perfectly for our table of four and actually could've feed 5 easily. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.

Recently some family members went for happy hour to watch a Phillies game, and they had a great time. We decided to give it another shot for happy hour. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought the value for what we ordered was outstanding. We arrived just after 5pm (happy hour weekly from 3-6) and were greeted by one of 3 bartenders who helped us throughout our visit (all 3 bartenders were great). I asked about their current down east cider on tap and she poured us a taster without having to request it. I ended up going with a happy hour dirty Kettle martini which ended up being super smooth. My wife had a Surfside, also on happy hour. The happy hour food consists of 1/2 price appetizers, fries, 10 piece boneless/bone-in wings and fingers. Drink wise it's $3 off all draft beer & house wine, $5 seltzers & teas, $7 margaritas, and $10 kettle & espresso martinis. I love a good deal and this is it! Chegg also has a fun Phillies special where each game there is a player of the game. If that player records a hit there are drink specials the remainder of the game! We ordered a bunch of food also on happy hour; Garlic Parm Boneless Wings, Fried Pickle Spears, Cheesy Bay Fries, and Bone-In Zapper Wings. I typically prefer smaller wings. These wings were on the bigger side and were meaty and juicy, but they were also crispy, cooked well throughout and not fatty. The wing sauce was really good! Very hot but not overbearing which is just what I was hoping for. The fried pickle spears were also a hit, and seemed to be breaded in house which is a huge plus if they were. The boneless wings were very good, however, we've had better Garlic Parm sauces elsewhere. Still nothing to complain about. After finishing my Dirty Martini I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita which was delicious. The bartender muddled jalapeño in the shaker prior to making the drink. It was limey and refreshing with a subtle jalapeño kick. Well worth the price tag and something I'd definitely order again. I finished up with one of my favorite all time beers, Tonewood Fuego (this drink not on happy hour). I mention this as all of this food and drink came out to ~$65. Again, value-wise I was impressed. I think Chegg has the potential to be great place to watch games. Their bar is very large with plenty of TVs throughout. They also have a great patio bar for beautiful days/nights. I'm sure during big Philadelphia sporting events the atmosphere is pretty great inside and out. I can definitely see myself coming back again for happy hour as the food and drink specials are great in my opinion. This was my first time at a Chegg happy hour. I still feel the prices are a bit high outside of happy hour. If you want decent bar food at a good price Chegg happy hour could be a place for you.

We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online.
