    Crabmeat 'salad'

Another wonderful culinary experience at CG. We always meet up there when coming to town. Their calamari is hands-down the best I've ever had. Crunchy tender, not chewy. Dipping sauce or marinade is not needed. It is spicy enough on its own. The jumbo lump crabmeat is also a must. A huge bowl of huge chunks of tender chilled crabmeat. 4 of us split a wedge salad. The filet was up there with the most tasty and tender steak I've ever had. Perfectly prepared to a medium. The topping of Gorgonzola and red wine reduction sauce brings the flavors to another level. You can't go wrong with the CG!

Yes it's a chain but I find the capital grill to be one of the better steak houses around. Fabulous appetizers the calamari not pictured was soft and tendered perfectly cooked. The tuna was cold, fresh with just the amount of heat from the sauce. I'm a filet girl, it's so soft that you can cut it with a butter knife. I don't care what anyone says it is also very flavorful especially with the crisp grilled outside and medium rare inside. Add the truffle fries and I'm in my happy place.

I want to start by saying I've had wonderful experiences at other Capital Grille locations. I understand that it's Christmas Eve and very busy but for the price point this service was not acceptable. The lobby was so busy at this location we could barely enter the establishment. We did arrive a half hour early and did not expect to be seated early, however, after more than 15 minuets past our reservation time we decided to sit at the bar, since there were 2 empty seats, instead of waiting for the table. I ordered a lemon drop martini and my wife ordered a jack and Coke. Both drinks were good but we finished them before we could catch the attention of the bartender to put in apps. When we finally got their attention we ordered another round of drinks, the calamari and a butternut squash soup. The apps came out fairly fast. The calamari was ok, it did not come with any dipping sauce, it was pretty dry. The butternut squash soup was inedible, terrible texture, super grainy. When we got the bartenders attention we told her the soup was inedible, she acknowledge our concerns and cleared our plates. The bartender spent so long spending time at the other end of the bar talking to all the older patrons that my wife said we should just go to Applebees. When she finally got back to us we input our order, strip steak au poivre with courvoisier sauce (medium well), roasted chicken breast, spinach, and mashed potatoes. Again the food came out fairly fast. The steak was so over cooked that when I cut it the plate was moving all over the bar. The sauce was delicious and if cooked correctly the steak would have been amazing. The chicken was was cooked fine but tasted like the grill top it was cooked on. It was supposed to be served over risotto but the "risotto" was hard and sitting in a puddle of broth? I thought the spinach was too salty but my wife said it was good. The best thing of the night and savior of the whole meal was the mashed potatoes. Whoever made the mashed potatoes loves potatoes. They were great. When we got the check it came to almost $300 and they didn't even take that terrible soup off. Fine, we ordered it, we didn't like it, but after everything else, besides the mashed potatoes, including the service being below average the least they could have done was taken off the soup. Also for a restaurant with a posted dress code it was unacceptable to allow people to come in with pajamas. Even in their pajamas, standing behind us, they received better service than we did.

Ate here on Wednesday July 16 2025 with my husband and nephew for lunch and it was delicious. The waiter was very nice and the meal was simply scrumptious. Best flash fried lobster I've ever eaten. The salad was nice and fresh too.

Outstanding! I dined with my two daughters early on a Sunday evening after shopping at the mall. We enjoy Capital Grille for special occasions and have always had a good experience. Our visit this time was exceptional. We were seated promptly and our server, Mary, an absolute star, quickly greeted us and got us set up with water and bread. We ordered drinks- a dirty martini, a chocolate martini and an "in" fashion-all excellent. We decided to have various starters including the clam chowder, the blue cheese wedge and the beet salad, all very good. For mains we each had a filet, and we shared sides of au gratin potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. The steaks were excellent and everything was on time and on temperature. But where the experience was elevated was in Mary's charming, attentive and fun service, but most importantly in her handling of my daughter's fish allergy. My daughter knows how to navigate a menu and to ask questions to make sure fish isn't used in certain dishes (you'd be amazed where fish sauce can sneak into a meal, for example in Worcestershire sauce, Caesar dressings, deep fryers, etc.), and she did so with Mary. Mary was great at listening and checking everything with the chef to make sure it was safe. My daughter did not ask to have a fish allergy, and she handles it well, but often at restaurants she can be made to feel that accommodating her is a big problem. But that was not the case here at all. Mary made my daughter feel special, and cared for, not an annoyance. The chef, unprompted by us, even went so far as to prepare a safe version of the bernaise sauce especially for my daughter. I much appreciated this level of care. We also had red wine and finished by sharing a coconut cream pie. All in all a delightful meal. Highest recommendation.

Reservations were made for Valentine's Day dinner, wait time upon arrival was about 15minutes and it was very busy as they began trying people away without reservations. All couples were provided a rose when seated (I unfortunately didn't receive this treatment). My date asked for a rose and then gave us rolls () so he decided to get up and grab one for me. The calamari was LIGHTY breaded and fried, a little too light for my liking. Some pieces weren't fired at all. What's dinner without the sides? We both ordered the Dry Age NT strip steak with the au gratin potatoes, lobster Mac n cheese , Brussel sprouts, and truffle fries . I would pass on the truffle fries but all other sides were delicious. On to the drinks, the mango royale packed a punch and the passion fruit mojito was tasty. Too full for dessert this go round. Soft dim lighting. Valet parking is offered and a parking lot is near but can be crowded so valet is a nice option.

this place is an absolute treat. everyone in my party of four loved the food, ambience, and service. we will definitely be back. the only comment I have is I would prefer the sides to be included in the main meal, not as an a la carte/for the table type of deal. that's really more of a preference though. everything was fantastic.

We absolutely love Capital Grille but had never tried the Cherry Hill location...we're so extremely happy we did! The service, ambiance and food were amazing! It's great to know we can get the same wonderful Capital Grille experience at all the locations!!!

The quality of food and service is very good here. We ordered several dishes and everything tasted good. The place is beautiful too.

I loved this whole meal. From the bread to the free birthday dessert. We had such a great dinner and can't wait to go back soon!

The server was extremely attentive and the food was cooked to perfection. Great spot for date nights or after work celebrations! Highly recommend the calamari and the lobster bisque for appetizers. The calamari is crispy and has a slight kick from the peppers. The lobster bisque is thick and creamy with a light lobster flavor. For entrees, the standouts are the lamb chops and the seared tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails. The lamb chops come with 4 gigantic chops! The lobster tails are tender, the simple butter sauce is amazing. For sides, the Brussels sprouts is the way to go. It's savory, crunchy, and super addicting.

The restaurant is beautiful and ambiance what one would expect from a nice steakhouse, with relaxing music, friendly staff and non-rushed vibe. We ordered steaks, filet mignon and sliced filet with mushrooms and whipped potatoes and creamed corn for our sides. The complimentary bread basket was awesome, loved the variety of breads and the salted butter. Our steaks were just okay and needed a good dose of salt and pepper. The potatoes also seemed to need a pinch of salt, and the creamed corn was just okay. Still, it was nice to relax with good conversation and a leisurely meal in a beautiful space.

First and foremost, our server was excellent. Polite and prompt, friendly, everything you want in a server. My problem was the food ... I ordered the halibut, asked my server about the "seasonal veggies" it comes with (she mentioned asparagus, okay good) because I do love veggies, but there are some I just really do not. Unfortunately, those exact veggies arrived on the plate, and my entree looked more like stir fry. I don't like onions or peppers ... and they were the base veggie of the dish. The menu describes the "sauce" as a lemon citronette, and this dish was not at all what I was expecting. It lacked flavor, there was no sauce, not a hint of lemon (I even squeezed some on there & it didnt help :( ) I can get past some vegetables I don't eat, just pushed them to the side, but the halibut was so so so incredibly dry. It wasn't soft, or flakey, or moist. (I hate that word but it was the best way to describe what it lacked) It was like cardboard. I was trying to choke it down because I too, had just worked a serving shift for Mothers Day, & it was the first thing I was eating all day. My husband mentioned something to the server because he knew I wouldn't haha, I don't like to be a pain customer or send things back. Fortunately, they did take it off the bill, but it was just a bummer. Willing to try again in the future, & I'll just stay away from the halibut.

My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

He checked on us through out our meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the calamari and dozen raw oysters which were both fresh and delicious. We had the Chophouse steak experience which worked out perfectly for our table of four and actually could've feed 5 easily. It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.

According to the greeter, they were all walk-ins too. I tried to brush it off as Mother's Day chaos and stay understanding. Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. After finally being seated, we waited around 45 minutes for our food. My wife ordered the steak penne, and it arrived not even lukewarm.
