my husband and I were there last Friday for dinner and were very disappointed to see only $3.00 taken off our bill of over $100.00 for a military discount. M husband said "what a slap in the face!" On a positive note, our dining experience was great! we were greeted immediately and seated. our waiter came right away and both drinks and dinner were very prompt. our waiter was very friendly as well. read more

Ordered online to celebrate everyone's birthday this year with a Mariner's family order, PLUS 6 eggs, and ordered additional Cheddar Bay Biscuits. While I ordered Old Bay with Butter, I had the dipping sauce to be Garlic and Butter. Food arrived lukewarm - had to reheat as it was near-danger temps. Potatoes were not even cooked thoroughly, still raw in middle and a total of 12 potatoes cut in half. Corn was overcooked and mushy, total of 6 half corn cobs. No eggs after I paid for it. Had 8 lobster tails but only 4 had meat on them, the other four were just shells. The Snow Crabs were so small - smaller than your pinkie! Dipping Sauce was Old Bay with Butter and not specifically what I ordered! Shrimps were all just dumped in, a total of 18 shrimps. I weighed the snow crab, and all the legs barely made it 1/2 pound. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! Phoned the store - was placed on hold for an hour and 48 minutes, called back, and on hold until the store was closed! I also reported via the Red Lobster's Online Complaint! Since calling them via the Corporate GOT NO WHERE! While Door Dash was the delivery assignment - the pick up was 6:30 PM, however, the order was complete at 6:03 PM and they did not release the food until 6:39 PM, and did not get the order until almost 1 hour after they had released to the Door Dash Driver! Whom THEY HAD LEFT WAITING FOR 33 MINUTES FOR THE ORDER! TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST - I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO WALMART AND BOUGHT LOBSTER TAILS BIGGER THAN WHAT WAS PRESENTED, AND SNOW CRABS FAR BIGGER THAN WHAT THEY PROVIDED. I MEAN - THAT'S SUFFICIENT ENOUGH! I phoned the store the NEXT MORNING and was placed on hold for nearly an hour and 11 minutes before I phoned my own bank! They have NOT responded to the online complaint either! read more

Always feel free to ask about the menu photos when dining at Red Lobster. I ordered the Mariner's Seafood Boil and wondered if the picture showed exactly what was in the bag, especially the snow crab. The photo displayed two large clusters of snow crab, and I was told that it was accurate. A few minutes later, our server came back to say that the snow crab is sold by weight and that the photo was not exactly right. He apologized for the mix-up and said I would get one cluster, about half a pound. He also mentioned I could buy an additional snow crab if I wanted to. It all felt a bit confusing to me. The staff was wonderful, and the food was good, but that is completely misleading since there was no indication of weight on the menu. read more

We stopped by for the AYCE shrimp. Sadly, they were out of two of the best items: the Shrimp Rangoon and the Crispy Dragon Shrimp. My favorite was the Grilled Shrimp Skewers. The were grilled perfectly...we got seconds! The service is always friendly and speedy. I can definitely recommend the AYCE shrimp. You can't beat it for $20! read more

this is the second time in the last few weeks my husband has done a to go order here at this location, and both times i've gotten my orders sloppily put in bag and had something missing one of the times. i had came in last thursday to place a order and when i came in the to go order worker was making it seem like i was inconveniencing her. Then when i was told to wait because my order wasn't done when i came back to check on it her and what to looked like the manager were seemingly flirting???? and then rushed to put everything in my bag to get back to talking and ended up going everywhere in the bag . second time i came this week similar experience and had missing sides in bag . Just overall not good customer service. Will definitely be going to another location. read more

Made a special date visit when we saw the shrimp special. Plenty of parking, quick seating. Service was excellent and food was hot and tasty. We each tried 3 styles. My wife got the Crispy Dragon, Walt's best and Coconut shrimp. I got the Crispy Dragon, Walt's Favorite and Skewered shrimp. We both got side salads to start, then she a Loaded Baked Potato and I the Rice Pilaf. I had wanted to try the Shrimp Rangoon but they were out due to supply issues. Salads came quickly, cold, crisp and delicious. Not long after our meals came. Now we do visit frequently and my wife's favorite is always the Coconut shrimp but she had never tried the Grilled Skewers and she loved them! That smoky flavor got her hooked. My favorite was the Crispy Dragon, even though not a lot of heat. Great food, wonderful service from Cody our server. And one plate was plenty. We actually took a few shrimp plus our sides home with us! Plus a nice Military discount. Marvelous! read more

Our family had such a lovely dinner here, and I just had to take a moment to share our experience. The food was fantastic--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. From the warm Cheddar Bay Biscuits to the beautifully cooked seafood, my husband and I and even our kids (who are very picky eaters) left full and happy! But what truly made the night special was our server, Eugene. We actually recognized him from the Largo location (which sadly closed down), where he had given us amazing service in the past--and we were thrilled to see him again here! Eugene was just as wonderful as we remembered. He helped us navigate the menu with genuine care, suggesting delicious combinations that also helped us save money--which any family appreciates! He was personable and funny and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, always checking in at just the right time. Our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, and he made sure each of us had everything we needed throughout the meal. Sadly, it's rare these days to get that level of thoughtful, personal service, and it really made our evening feel special. We'll definitely be back--and we'll be crossing our fingers that we get Eugene again! The relaxed ambiance was a great addition to our dinner. read more

Much nicer Red Lobster experience than last Friday! We sat in the dining area, away from the bar. Much quieter. Jolie, our waitress, was extremely helpful. We wanted the Walt's Shrimp, and it was a special today - $3 less and a drink! Jolie brought drinks and biscuits quickly. Next came the salads. Once we'd finished them, we got our shrimp. Everything was delicious! I couldn't finish my baked potato or all my shrimp, so I got a box to take them home - and cheddar biscuits! We will definitely return to this Red Lobster. read more

Our server Todd needs more training. Mainly on listening to the customers and what they need and want. If the dish has a choice of 4 or 6 and we say 4 don't bring us 2. The place needs to be updated it looks like it's from the 80's. Definitely won't be going back. RL was definitely better when Darden owned it. read more

Great job Mariah, not only was the dinner excellent but she was professional and respectful. They closed at 10P and I came in at 930P, but they, and she, was very accommodating. My fiance and I went to red lobster last night for dinner and had a great experience! Our "seafood expert" Todd was great! I ordered the "shrimp your way" and wasn't a fan of the Alfredo that I got with it. Todd made sure I got something else that I would enjoy! If the manager is reading this, give Todd a raise! Best service we've received in quite some time! we will definitely be requesting him as our server next time we stop by :) read more

Awesome experience!!! Terry the server made the entire experience wonderful- he was attentive and courteous the entire time. I visited the location just after lunch but before the dinner crowd. The restaurant was so what empty but quickly filled up during my meal. I ordered the pick three from the create you own combination section of the menu- I elected the Shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, and shrimp pasta. The food was well prepared. The portion size were large and filling- I had enough food for an entire meal the next day. Ask for Terry.... he takes care of his guest read more

My wife and I went here Saturday night (5/13/23) for an early Mothers Day dinner. First of all the food was great and our server was great. There were a couple minor things with service but she corrected them quickly. When we walked in the bar was covered with dirty glasses and Empty beer bottles. There were no customers at the bar. It remained this way for 20 to 30 minutes. The bartender just stood there doing nothing. At one point he seemed to be discussing with a manager whether it was his job to clean it up or not. He finally began cleaning it after a long time. I could understand if he was busy making drinks or getting bottles of beer but he wasn't. This really lowered our enjoyment of the evening. We have been to this Red Lobster many times over the years and always had a good time and great food. I don't know if we'll go back to this Red Lobster location again because of this experience. read more

We haven't been to red lobster in years. We will never go again. The food is so expensive. Many 42.00 plates. We spent around 20 dollars each. My husband had fried fish, I had stuffed flounder. Both meals were edible...that's it. Service was poor. The people at the next table left when we arrived. Dirty dishes sat there The whole time. Dirty dishes at other tables and side tables. People walking around with no specific job. Dirty, unorganized. There are too many good restaurants in our area to go to. Will not return to this restaurant in Clearwater (Red Lobster). Too expensive to sit in filth. read more

Our waiter Terry was fantastic and so friendly and truly made my families get-together/sisters birthday so enjoyable and unforgettable. It was SO busy (Probably because lobster season is here and they are having a "lobster fest" special on their menu) despite a ton of tables this man was juggling he still showed so much patience, he worked diligently, quick and efficiently. Very impressed. Ahh, the menu is SO big... I did NOT know what to order, but what was ordered was not regretted... the shrimp was cooked to buttery perfection and the lobster tail was so juicy and tender. The food was surprisingly, rather delicious. I wouldn't of expected a Red Lobster (which to me isn't generally the best place to eat seafood) to be as good as it was. But everything was fantastic and myself and my family gobbled up everything that was on our plates without any hesitation. Super duper yummy! PS... Cheddar Biscuits were 20/10 tonight. I've gone here since I was a kid and it's always been good, and my fiancé has never been here before so I suggested coming here. BIG mistake. For starters, we waited 20 minutes just to get drinks, my fiancé ordered a mixed drink and I ordered water and he got his drink 10 minutes before I even got my water, and then there was food floating in my water. Our waitress paid no attention to us and when she spoke to us she was slurring like she was drunk, or on something. We asked her for butter 4 times before we even got it. Then we were eating and my fiancé asked for more bbq sauce for his fries and it literally took her 15 minutes just to bring it and by the time she brought it we were done and just ready to go. We were there for AT LEAST 2 and half hours and not by choice. Really disappointed in how this place has turned out. read more

Had the Crab Rangoon Shrimp appetizer. Came out lukewarm and not completely cooked. But our server David took care of that for us. Got the stuffed flounder, and 3 from the Sea. Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp cocktail clam chowder. Everything else was great. Came out hot and flavorful. Great service from David P. Will def be back. read more

The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good but not consistent. Service is excellent as servers work their hardest to get take the orders and serve the food. So this review is not about them. They get four stars. At yesterday's lunch, the Caesar salad was over dressed and the chicken that was added to it was tasteless and dry. My husband's flounder was not flounder but end pieces of cod. And, by the way, why are the Cheddar Biscuits soft and moist sometimes and stale and dry other times? Reheated leftovers? Who knows. It's a nice place but the prices are high and we expect better from them. read more

We had gift cards and had gifted one to our neighbor for his birthday. It was a total of $75. The waitress said that the cards were not activated, which was not true as they didn't have to be. We asked for the manager and she said their machine wouldn't take the card and she couldn't override it. We ended up paying $75 more for our meal than we anticipated. My husband and I were extremely embarrassed as we gave the card as a gift. I called the number on the back of the card and they stated that the restaurant rang them up wrong and didn't follow the instructions on the card. We will never eat here again! Poor customer service. read more

Well I must say Red Lobster did impressed me the other night. We started with a lobster and mac and cheese and it was nice and creamy. Would have liked it a little bit spicier but I'm sure that's a personal taste. We split a 2 lb Maine Lobster and it was tender and juicy. The meal came with two sides plus a salad. The salad lettuce was crispy and had some tomatoes croutons cheese, Etc. The baked potato and green beans with mushrooms were both cooked perfectly. The beer was cold and the lights dimmed nicely at the booths. We did not sit at the bar because it was too bright there. Service I must say it was very good. Our waiter always checked on us. I even join the rewards program while sitting at the table. You get 75 points just for signing up and with our bill, I have a free appetizer coming. I guess we'll definitely be back and suggest you give it a try too. read more
