Outside, waiting for take out

The best thing about this Carrabbas is the service. Every time we come we get 5 star service. The second best thing is the food. When we come here, we order dishes that we love to eat and hate to prepare. It's wonderful to sit and enjoy dishes that someone else makes for you. Yes, we pay for that, but we gladly pay for these outstanding menu items: Rigatoni al Fiorno, Mezzaluna, penne with lemon butter sauce, ALL the chicken dishes, and the lasagna. All of the menu items are delicious, and I think we've tried 85% of the menu. The specials are also good. We like to look and see what's new and sometimes we try something offered on the specials menu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's not too noisy, but just right. It's like being with the family, except with mostly happy people all around. LOL. We're Dine Rewards members, and whatever we earn is usually spent here instead of one of the other restaurants participating in Dine Rewards. We are highly satisfied customers!!

Lunch with family after church on a Sunday. In the area to shop and decided to drop in. No waiting, we were seated immediately. Brought menus, waters and warm bread with olive oil and spices to dip while we decided . We decided to get the Specials for Two - only $15.95, slightly less Monday through Friday. Perfect for the five of us because we like to share and try different items. We ordered, for the Sicilian Chicken soup, Minestrone soup, and Creamy Parmesan salad to begin. For main we ordered the Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, and Sirloin. Plus, Grand-daughter wanted the Fried Shrimp. Then finally for dessert we chose the Chocolate Dream (of course me and four girls), and the Tiramisu. Salads and soups came quickly. Soups were hot & delicious, my favorite still the Minestrone. Salads were cold, crispy, and great. Main courses came next. The Lasagna was cheesy, meaty and very good. Chicken Marsala was hot and very tender. Steaks, according to family were also great. I resisted because I came for Italian. Finally, the Tiramisu and Chocolate Dream came. Both were excellent but the consensus was the Chocolate Dream was the winner. A great ending to a wonderful meal. Great service, excellent food, and great timing on the courses. And the setting gave us great ambiance. We'll be back.

We love Happy Hour here. Lots of tasty bites and yummy drink specials. Espresso martini is da biz. Wings are crispy and tasty. Salads are so fresh and so clean clean. Stuffed mushrooms made us drool. Even the vino sample was good, but we don't do the vino as the Mrs gets a bit emo on that sauce. Ain't nobody got time fo dat. Service is impeccable, great timing and friendly. The only con is parking. But it's a big lot so just put some comfy shoes on

We visited the we August Sunset Chrush Wine event and had the most wonderful time. We received amazing table service by our server team. The table experience from the time we sat down until we left was just fantastic. We have been to other Carrabba's and have never felt as welcome as we did there. The food came out for all those there with amazing warmth and taste. The restrooms were also clean and tidy. We now be attending all future Carrabba's wine pairing dinners and be bringing our friends. Let's goooooo

The penne pasta was overdone. The clams in white sauce was very saucy and mushy spaghetti.. The chicken piccata just wasn't as tasty as normally and again the pasta was well overdone I had ordered the eggplant with Angel hair pasta al dente and my al dente was mushy also and I had ordered all my sauces on the side, thank God The sauce they used whether it was marinade or they're just pasta sauce was very bitter and had no taste. . The atmosphere was good very noisy cause it was full of people. We waited a long time there were eight of us and we were in there for over two hours. The service was good. Our server was just so accommodating about everything. The atmosphere was good very noisy cause it was busy not full. But we were in there over 2 hrs. So I also heard there were new owners??? The Italian wedding soup was excellent in flavor.

I arrived first and requested a table of three and then I sat for at least 10 minutes before anyone…read moreasked me if I'd like a drink. When I order chicken piccata, I expect thin, lightly dredged chicken that's browned, with a bright lemon-butter sauce balanced by capers, light, fresh, and clearly defined. What I was served here was quite different. The dish arrived as a bowl of angel hair pasta in a white, gravy-like sauce, topped with two unbrowned chicken breasts that did not appear to be dredged in flour. While there were capers present, the sauce lacked the lemon-forward brightness and balance that typically define piccata, and the overall effect was bland rather than fresh. This may be the restaurant's interpretation of the dish, but it didn't align with the classic preparation or flavor profile I was expecting. If you're ordering chicken piccata with a traditional lemon-caper profile, this version may not meet that expectation.

***GLUTEN FREE REVIEW*** On my Gluten Free journey to find…read morenew places to enjoy, I came across suggestions for Casa Cosenza. I read that the Chef is the wife/owner and the husband/owner runs front of house. I read they offered GF bread, pasta and other options. We went in right after they opened for the evening at 5:30pm. There was a couple at the bar and 5 gentlemen at a table. The ambiance and decor is nice and comfortable. There's a full bar. As we sat a young man brought water and menus right away, then brought a bread plate. I asked if he could bring GF bread. He returned and let me know there was none available. Not a big deal. The owner greeted us and I asked about the menu. On Yelp a menu shows clearly marked GF options, but none were on this revised menu. It did have a notation that GF options were available upon request. He said to just pick what I like and he'll see if it can be GF. I'll be honest, I "think" the server(s) must have called in sick because it was just the owner and the young kid, and the owner seemed very disorganized about serving and it wasnt even busy yet. It took a good 10-15 minutes until he was able to make his way back to us to order wine and a cocktail. His response to hubby's cocktail was that he's not a bartender and cant make a Moscow Mule. I asked if he had GingerBeer (I would walk him through it) but he said no. Hubby drank water, I had a glass of Pinot Noir. I knew things like Lasagne, Ravioli, etc could not be made GF, but the 3 plain pasta options weren't appealing to me. So I asked about the Eggplant appetizer and could it be made a dinner. He said he could make it dinner sized. Sounds good! Hubby got the Veal Scallopini Marsala. It does take awhile to get the food but you are forewarned that everything is fresh and made to order, so we were ok with the wait. My eggplant and sauce had a delicious flavor! However, the portion was small...either they forgot to make it larger (but charged me for it) or it just wasnt sufficient. Sadly, I left hungry. Worse, it was also COLD. I was so surprised! It was so cold that the Mozzarella Cheese was hardened on the inside. And speaking of hard....both hubby and my potatoes were hard and undercooked so we couldnt eat them. The veggies were good, but I also couldnt eat the chewy round parmesan crisps. Husband's Meal was decent, he said the sauce was delicious, but the veal was a bit tough, and again, his potatoes were undercooked and couldnt eat them. So to sum up, service was a bit disorganized and a tad slow (but I really do think someone called in as there was no server or bartender), the food was cold and small portions, BUT.....the flavor was really good! It is a bit of a disappointment to leave a restaurant hungry and paying $80 for a meal. Reading all the excellent reviews I think we just caught them on an off night. My suggestion, take your chances, it is a charming restaurant and the flavor of the food is really good--just try to catch them on a good night! But with good quality food and EXCELLENT service not common these days, this Cosenza is truly in a league of their own.

We came here for an early Friday dinner and I'm happy we did because this is a local hotspot that a lot of people might not even know is here. It can seemingly get crowded and it's a very tight fit if you have to wait for a table. You get bang for the buck in terms of the food and price. We got a custom pie and a Greek salad. The pie was MASSIVE, at the best price you'll find in the area. The ingredients were fresh and the food tasted amazing. Nothing is better than a piping hot pizza! The Greek salad is a wonderful addition and you get the potato salad at the bottom, as you do with most places in the area.
