    Gnocchi in red sauce

Went for my birthday and food was delicious. The service was awesome and it was so nice to go somewhere with good service! We will definitely dine here again!

Home made Fettuccine with lobster tail, mussels and clams.

We enjoyed the Dinner and added an Arancina Rice ball, Aperol Spritz and a custard rum cake.

who knew... The spot is so hidden in a strip mall if I hadn't gone to the breakfast place next-door I would've never known it was here. Inside is larger than it looks from the parking lot, the service was fantastic... Very friendly, the maître d' made you feel like family. They have a great selection of Italian favorites and some American choices... They've got a great Instagram where you can see the specials. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

    Pollo Piccata

I was a little reluctant as we drove up to this restaurant in a strip mall, but when you walk in it is very charming. The food is excellent as well as the service. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the special of veal steak with tomato sauce and mushroom ravioli. For dessert we shared cannoli and were 5 small ones, very delicious. We dined on a Saturday and there was a piano player providing beautiful music. Highly recommend.

Chicken piccata .. chicken very thin very good

Place was amazing!! Everything we ordered was exceptional. The fried mozzarella was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend

Review: Casa Cosenza - Oldsmar, FL Casa Cosenza - Oldsmar has become my go-to Italian restaurant, and each visit is nothing short of a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Italy. From the moment you step through the door, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel like you've been transported to the heart of Italy. The owner is what I call fresh off the boat, and many of his staff reflect the flavor and ambiance you would expect in Italy The menu offers a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes that cater to all tastes, and all the pasta is made in house! Michael Glinter has traveled to 87 countries and 36 states to get the flavor of some amazing foods. His view on reviews is simple - Taste, Presentation, and Service. He believes it's important to tell the reader both a positive and negative unbiased look at the restaurant. Let's take a look and see how Casa Consenza scored in these 3 categories. Taste and Presentation We started with a special appetizer for the night which was a Homemade Tortellini stuff with Italian cheese and white truffle in a white cream sauce. Then for entrees we had Filetto al Barolo a 8oz Filet Mignon in red wine sauce, served with mushrooms, vegetables, and house potatoes, and the night special which was a Branzino filet with mussels and clams topped with a red sauce. The filet was cooked to absolute perfection, the Barolo wine reduction is a symphony of flavors and truly complemented the meat, The presentation was equally impressive, with an artful arrangement that highlighted the dish's elegance and with a side of perfectly cooked mushrooms, zucchini, and potatoes. and a choice of potato accompaniment The Branzino was a true celebration of the sea, a dish that impeccably combines freshness, flavor, and culinary artistry. It was grilled to perfection, showcasing the pristine quality of the fish. Each forkful revealed a subtle sweetness that spoke of the sea, and the expert seasoning allowed the natural flavors to shine. The inclusion of mussels and clams added a dynamic layer to the dish. The shellfish were impeccably cooked, tender and brimming with the essence of the ocean. The savory broth, infused with garlic, white wine, and herbs, was a symphony of complementary flavors that elevated the entire dish to a new level of indulgence. The presentation was a work of art, with the vibrant colors of the seafood and the aromatic broth creating an enticing visual appeal. The dish was accompanied by a medley of seasonal vegetables, adding a refreshing balance to the richness of the seafood. Service What can I say. Max. Dear Max. He was amazing. He exhibited a genuine passion for the cuisine, providing insightful descriptions of each dish and its preparation. His enthusiasm not only enhanced our dining experience but also reflected a true dedication to the art of hospitality. He was constantly attentive to our table, always asking us how things were doing, tasting, and making sure we were well taken care of. I observed him around the restaurant and his passion for people and really creating an amazing guest experience was top notch. The Italian décor, soft lighting, and the piano truly created an intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a celebration with friends and family. In conclusion, Casa Cosenza is a gem among Italian restaurants. The dedication to authenticity, the quality of ingredients, and the overall dining experience make it a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Italy in the heart of Tampa Bay. Every visit has always been a celebration of the rich culinary heritage that Italy has to offer. Buon Appetito! If you do go to visit and Max is working, tell him "Uncle Mike" sent you there and he will make sure you have an unbelievable experience.

A very delicious as always meal - pictured is their chefs special ricotta and spinach ravioli with red sauce. I always show case this spot when given the chance; it comes unmatched. Anytime someone asks where to get authentic Italian food, I can't help but let them know about this spot out of everywhere in the Bay Area. ended the dinner with a creme brûlée not pictured is my Caesar salad, and Aeperol Spritz I love the ambiance of this place. Can't wait to come back here for years to come.

The last time I was there, they only had beer and wine. They were trying for a liquor license, but I'm not sure whether that happened or not. It's a lovely place.

The space has been beautifully updated and now feels contemporary, romantic, and much more like an upscale dining destination. The new bar is especially inviting, and I can easily see my husband and me stopping in just for drinks and happy hour. Speaking of happy hour--it was one of the highlights of our visit. The appetizer and drink selection is excellent, and even the house Chardonnay (which I almost never order) was surprisingly delicious. Our favorite dishes were the pizza, which was exceptional, the burrata salad, and the artichoke appetizer. All three were standouts and are absolutely worth ordering again. We split the Bolognese. While it was enjoyable, it tasted more like a classic spaghetti and meat sauce than the rich, slow-cooked ragù I typically expect from a traditional Bolognese. It wasn't bad by any means--I simply think this is one recipe that could be elevated to match the quality of everything else we had. I also want to give a special thank-you to our server, Michael. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helped make our evening enjoyable. Great service always makes a difference, and he did an excellent job. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. If you've been hesitant because of the overall rating, I'd encourage you to give Martin's a try. The new owners are clearly trying to please customers, and we appreciate their efforts. Service is still friendly, and the place feels welcoming. However, some changes are baffling. A successful restaurant succeeds for a reason. Why alter the winning formula. They removed pizza (a big favorite for many), kept similar-sounding dishes but without the same exceptional flavors, and it seems they didn't retain the longtime chef and staff that made it special. The result is good, but not the standout experience we loved. We're not here to criticize harshly. Running a restaurant is tough. But the old saying fits perfectly: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." We hope they'll bring back some signature elements. Until then, we'll be visiting less often. 3 out of 5 stars. Potential remains, but the magic has faded.

As the night went on, diners arrived and the background noise of the restaurant became quite loud. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to avoid a busy night. My husband ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio. While flavorful, it was a little too al dente for him. I ordered the Branzino special. I love fresh fish, but I was wearing a nice dress and didn't want to have fish bones flying all over the place. The waiter said he would clean it for me. Unfortunately, by the time it came out, the waiter was so busy, he didn't have time to clean the fish. As a result, I had a go doing it myself. It was difficult between the bones and the skin and not getting fish on me. Eventually I just tired of trying to pry out enough meat and gave up. I'm so disappointed to pay $50 for a dish and still leave a restaurant hungry. We will probably go back and try again, but I wasn't bowled over by the experience.
