Endless Shrimp Plate : Marry Me Shrimp, Shrimp Linguine, and Walt's Favorite Shrimp. Side of rice pilaf.

Kianoosh C.

Came into the Brea Red Lobster with my family for the first time in a long time. We heard they had brought back endless shrimp and wanted to give it a chance. It turned out that the promotion was temporary, and had actually ended the week before, but were informed over the phone that it is available as a weekly special on Monday's, which that day happened to be. Upon arriving, we were quickly sat and introduced to our waiter Wes who was very attentive and friendly. We found that the endless shrimp on Monday's is actually $5 more than the promotion they had been running, but two of the three of us ordered it anyways. My sister ordered fish and chips. The service was great. Wes was quick to get us refills and was very helpful with navigating the endless shrimp. We were also interested in trying the new "Marry Me" variation of shrimp, which although it wasn't printed anywhere in their menu he informed us they still have. We covered pretty much every variety of shrimp they offer between the two of us, along with cole slaw and rice pilaf. As far as the shrimp goes, the quality feels worse than I remember. The breading on our Walt's favorite was soggy and falling apart even when fresh and hot. The rice pilaf was borderline inedible. It tasted old but there were also a ton of pieces of rice, pilaf, or something else that were incredibly firm to the point where you couldn't really chew it. The alfredo and scampi were the most enjoyable. The marry me shrimp was borderline inedible. The sauce, rather than what is typical of the trending recipe, tastes almost exactly like marinara sauce mixed with alfredo sauce. That wouldn't have been too much of a problem had it been executed well. The sauce had some sort of film over the top, even though there was no cheese. It was just a dry layer of skin over the sauce. The milk solids within the sauce also seemed to have separated, leaving the shrimp in a pool of what appeared to be some sort of milk curds, water, and oil. The issue is that we had to be finished with almost all of our plate to get another and try what we hadn't yet. I ended up not being able to put a dent in that second plate as the food was so heavy I wasn't feeling good. From what I heard, the fish and chips were decent, though the fries were disappointing. I think you would be better off ordering a shrimp dish a la carte from the normal menu, where the preparation is probably a little more dedicated. Don't recommend.

Red Lobster was okay overall, but I wouldn't say it was a place I'd be excited to visit again. We came here because we had a gift certificate, so we decided to give it a try. The food was decent, served hot, and the portions were good, but nothing really stood out or impressed us. The main downside was the service. Everything started fine, but after the food was served, it felt like our server was not checking on us as much as expected. We had to wait longer than we wanted for assistance, especially when we were ready for the check and needed a to-go box. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it was pretty average. The food was fine, the service could have been better, and personally I don't think I would come back a second time.

Saw people posting on social about the endless shrimp deal being back for a limited time. I thought that was the reason why Red Lobster filed for bankruptcy. Anyhow, never tried this and had to. So after a long hike, the hubby and I thought we would try it on a Saturday at 3 pm. We are old people who like to have early dinner and it always works out because it's never crowded at this time. Host was nice and got us seated within 5 mins at a booth. Place was clean. We lucked out with server Marvin. The best server ever!! Very friendly, attentive, great personally and never rushed us through anything! He explained the endless shrimp deal to us when I asked if it was available. It was a $30 deal where you can pick 3 different shrimps and a side. Afterwards, you can pick 2 shrimps at a time as the refill. Not bad. When the food came out, dang!! I was shocked how lovely everything was plated. I kept reading bad reviews so I was a bit nervous but food was not over salted and everything was hot and fresh. My favorites were the alfredo and coconut shrimp. The sauce that came with the coconut shrimps was delicious. Baked potato was on point. We just finished our shrimps when Marvin came back just in time to get our second order. Like I said, so attentive. People nowadays don't have the same customer service as they did back in the day. But Marvin...he provided amazing customer service. By the end, I was so full. I had a total of 30 shrimps. Husband ate 3 cheddar bay biscuits. I was just too full to try it even though that's what they're known for.

Seafood combination with lobster tail, salmon, shrimp fettuccine and grilled shrimp.

Came in to red lobster with my girlfriend for dinner on a Saturday night. Location is on the perimeter road for the brea mall. Easy access and a fairly large parking lot with potential overflow parking in the mall lot across the perimeter road. Parking lot was fairly full for almost 8PM on a Saturday night. The restaurant was over half empty. We were seated immediately after walking in. Ambiance is a nautical theme common to red lobster and many seafood restaurants. Dark stained wood paneling, pictures of seafood, fishing, and harbor scenes, and other motif items like ship steering wheels, fishing nets, shellfish traps and the like on the walls and hung from the ceiling around the restaurant. Our server was Zach, and came up quickly with biscuits took our drink orders, and promised to return soon to take our order. He returned with our drinks several minutes later and took our orders. Checked in about 10 minutes later, offered to refill the biscuits and my soda and told us that our food would be out soon. Zach returned with the biscuits and again let us know that our food is coming right up, he again said he will refill my soda. Our food came out about 5 minutes later my soda a minute or 2 earlier. Food temperature was nice and hot. The plates looked great and we dug in to our meals. The dinners tasted good and the portions were generous. I have a strange relationship with snow crab , while it's my favorite crab taste wise, the small legs and therefore amount of work to get my fill is time consuming. My girlfriend enjoyed her lobster tail and salmon. She ate about half of the grilled shrimp and brought the rest along with her shrimp fettuccine to go. Unfortunately Zach was sort of missing in action after the food was served. We were ready for the check and wanted a to go container for my girlfriend's leftovers but waited quite a while for him to return and check in on us. Overall the food and initial wait time to be seated were both good. The wait for our meals and for the waiter after the meals arrived were quite a bit longer than expected, especially considering that the restaurant was not even half full. I may or may not return.

We came in for the all you can eat shrimp and we definitely felt like we got our moneys worth. Service was spot on & the restaurant for a Wednesday afternoon was lively. They were very intentional about making sure they offered our shrimp refills for the endless meal frequently.

Came here for lunch, and you honestly can never go wrong with Red Lobster. I absolutely love coming here -- the food is always so good and consistent. I usually order the Choose Two Shrimp meal, and it never disappoints. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. For drinks, I ordered a piña colada with a strawberry mix (can't remember the exact name), and it was so refreshing and delicious -- definitely a perfect pairing with the meal. Of course, the warm cheddar bay biscuits were a highlight as always. The coconut shrimp was amazing and such a great choice for an appetizer -- crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was great as well. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The ambiance was also really nice -- comfortable, relaxed, and perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely continue coming back!

Had another great visit at Brea Red Lobster! My daughter, her friend and I all enjoyed the calamari appetizer, and our entrees. He said the chicken breast entree was delicious and it looked breaded and fried to perfection. Decent portion for a big eater also. My daughter enjoyed her steak and lobster entree and the biscuits. I really loved my shrimp and lobster linguine. Great portion and great taste! Service was very good as well. Only thing they need to bring back is soup or salad with every entree.

Better experience this time. Ordered for delivery though. They deliver through Doordash. I wanted something that I hadn't had in a while. Red Lobster was the pick. Food arrived warm still. We were missing a couple items though, missing side of broccoli and lobster bisque were not in the bag. Bummer. I did request a refund through Door dash since those items were missing. Seaside shrimp trio 10/10 This was great! Also, not a bad price for all the shrimp you get. I love popcorn shrimp, so that was my favorite. The garlic shrimps were very buttery and delicious. The shrimp with pasta was my least favorite. The sauce didn't have much flavor. It tasted just like buttery noodles lol For $22 this was a great value. Cheddar bay biscuits 10/10 Love these so much! They are cheesy and filling. Love the hint of garlic and butter. Very good biscuits. We ordered a dozen of them lol Hush puppies 10/10 The hush puppies have a special place in my heart. I love these corn bread tasting balls! So yummy. They had little pieces of corn inside them too. Stuffed mushrooms 10/10 My husband ordered these and loved them. They were stuffed with lots of filling. He said he enjoyed them. I like mushrooms, but not that much lol I didn't touch those. Overall, everything we ordered was really good. We were just missing a couple items. Could have been a 4 star, if they didn't forget the soup and broccoli lol

I spent much of today traveling to Ramona and the Oasis Camel Dairy. It's now 6:43pm and I need nourishment. My go to for delicious food and outstanding service is Red Lobster. Marvin, you did not disappoint. How gracious you were going over the menu with me. At no time did you make me feel as if I were taking up too much of your time. Great smile! Great personality. You're a keeper!! See you soon.

I've been to this red lobster on countless occasions throughout the year and have experienced the small changes they've been doing. It had been a while since we had been here and I got the meal for the bday dessert. My bf and I decided to visit and bring our own wine. One of the best things from them was the no corkage fee since they don't really have a wine selection. This is family friendly casual restaurant with a wide variety of seafood dishes. They were pretty empty with only about 3-4 tables total. We decided to order the Brussels sprouts as a starter and one of their seafood combos to share since I wasn't too hungry. My bf also added the loaded baked potato. We waited 30 mins after ordering and NOTHING. Eventually they told us that they no longer accept wine from outside, not even for a fee because they no longer pay for that type of licence. This was disappointing since the tried telling us that the had never accepted it and we know that's a lie. Eventually the showed up to our table with a different tables food. We think our waitress mixed tables and potentially never got our order in. We waited 20 more mins from that moment to even get our food. The food tasted really good as it was really fresh off the kitchen. We have never gotten our food so freshly cooked before which just adds up to them not inputting it in the system. Sadly because the experience had already been so bad, we didn't get to enjoy the food as much. Now the reason I came in, my bday dessert. The waitress tried to tell me that I was limited as to which one I could get and that would've been fine, but I'm the type of person who reads the small print and that's not what the email said. I took the time to log into my account and I was right. It was a bit of a back and forth, but I eventually got my dessert which again was really good, but the experience wasn't. After this experience, I doubt we will be back. The only reason it is a 2 star is because after the 2.5 hrs lunch ordeal, the food actually tasted good.

Tiffany M.

Haven't dined in probably in a couple of decades, but the experience was just as good as I remembered. They have a lot of specials these days and I wanted to get the shrimp trio. We also got the fish and chips for the Friday deal and everything was great! Wasn't busy and service was good. Would definitely come back

I ordered the margarita flight, crab queso, Tito's Strawberry Lemonade, Top Sirlion with Lobster plate, and Sailors Boil The Tito's Strawberry Lemonade was very very sweet and has a syrup taste to it. I wouldn't recommend this unless you don't mind super super sweet drinks. The Crab Queso was a bit salty but overall good flavor when it's nice and hot and it's a nice shareable size. The chips were very tasty as well. I would recommend to order this. The Top Sirloin was okay, the best thing about it was it being a medium rare like I requested. The flavor was okay but it was a bit chewy, I wish there was more of a sear on it, I would recommend to upgrade to the filet mignon. The Lobster tail is always very good, I've had lobster at various places and this one is always almost just as good. I would highly recommend the lobster here. The Sailors Boil was comparable in taste to most seafood boil places. I would recommend to Shake the bag when you get it so the flavor gets a better spread. The spicy sausage was the best, shrimp was okay, like most boils the flavor isn't great, mostly just bland. The only bad thing was the corn, it was very soggy. I personally wouldn't order this again, but if you're really into boils this one is good for the price. The flight of margaritas was good I would recommend to get them. The service was nice and fast with friendly staff, the ambiance is quiet and a bit outdated. I gave it a 4 star because the food has been a whole lot better ever since the CEO change, if you haven't been in a while I would definitely recommend to give it another shot.

Today Ethan showed what true hospitality is for me and my family, making Red Lobster and exceptional experience. Food was great. Condiments were great. Great family dinner. Appreciated. I couldn't have spent my birthday in a better place. It's a great dining experience for people of all ages and back-rounds! 10/10

Went for a " to go "order . Bartender took my order right away when I approached the bar he relayed my order to the to go lady . Make a long story short it wasn't that busy in the restaurant , I came in at 4:45 on a Sunday. I was there for a total of 55 minutes from when I walked in to when I left . The lady blamed my wait on the biscuits . It's like really ? The to go lady never even apologized to me for the delay and placed blame only . The new bartender at least apologized to me read more

I usually go to the GG location, but since my last experience wasn't that great I decided to give the Brea location a try. First off I would like to mention that this location is much nicer and bigger. It's located near the Brea Mall which is a plus. So a friend and I ordered the Endless Shrimp Fest. I have to say even though we had a rough start with a long wait time for our food to come out due to a big party coming in right before us, our waitress Maddison definitely made up for it throughout the rest of our service. Talk about night and day service from our last experience at GG. I'm so glad I decided to come give this location a try. Five plus service for sure, and definitely made up for our previously negative service. My only request is I wish Red Lobster would bring back the won ton shrimp. read more

It was decent for a restaurant chain. It's located on the fringes of the Brea Mall and my wife and I went on an early Sunday evening and it wasn't really crowded. The server was nice and we didn't feel rushed. I ordered coffee that was hot but very mellow and we ordered water for both. The menu was huge and I ordered the peppercorn steak and Shrimp and my wife ordered the Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon. We both ordered clam chowder. First, the clam chowder was hot with thick with lots of clams and potato. I made the mistake of ordering my steak medium and it was a little dry. My wife enjoyed her lobster, shrimp and salmon. The dish was well prepared and the presentation was good. The food portions were good sized. Although both entrees were good, we both agreed to order something different the next time. We like the cheddar biscuits that were served hot and fresh. The dining experience overall was good but not outstanding read more

My husband and I both had the lobster lovers feast. The Rick lobster was hot, freshly cooked, tender and delicious. The Maine lobster tail was tough, and rubbery...both of them. We honestly decided that they were cooked earlier, and then microwaved or re-cooked. It was like ordering a filet medium rare and getting a cold, well done chunk of beef. It was so disappointing. The potatoes were also re-warmed after standing for a long period of time...hard to screw up a baked potato, but they did. read more

Okay after hearing a crazy horror story from my sister and the displeasure TASTING her "stale" catfish for myself I'm like "whoa wtf happened to this place?" Now I've had enough catfish in my like to know what its supposed to taste like, and that's NOT like overcooked chicken. Now that it seems they've replaced the staff, it was loads better this time around. Unfortunately the catfish was removed. Not the first place this has happened at. So, I opted for the red snapper, which came out nicely cooked as well as the biscuits which were fresh. Also it looks like they've increased the portion size of the salads. With that said, I may end up coming here for my birthday. read more

Pregnancy cravings made me want shrimp scampi and biscuits! I'm so sad that I payed $30+ for the quality of food I received. My scampi was so incredibly salty, my green beans were so soggy I was grossed out. The biscuits are still amazing but I'm disappointed my cravings were not satisfied. I haven't had red lobster in years and I probably won't be having it again. I'm sure it's probably better dine in but I don't even want to try again when things reopen, my mouth is coated with butter and salt :( read more

I think Red Lobster's just a pretty average place. I don't understand why it's so talked about. Ambiance and Location: the place is really nice inside, although it looks quite old. The parking lot is also large and accommodating but during the weekends is a nightmare. Service: the hostess was really friendly. The customer service inside was average at best, we had about three different servers. The first one was friendly, but then he disappeared and was replaced by a waitress. She took forever to refill my drink and didn't seem happy to be working. The third one actually was the best of the three; he was genuine and he took great care of us. Food: The coconut shrimp starter was quite yummy, much better than the lobster, which was undercooked. The Salmon my boyfriend had was good but not great. We did not have desserts. If I had to describe this place one word would be enough: Overrated. I won't come back unless no other alternative is available. read more

I like seafood and good service. My husband and daughter and I had dinner there tonight. We had great service from a server by the name Michelle. So I asked for the manger to come to our table at the end of our dinner,so I can let the manger know how pleased we were with Michelle's service. We waited for quite a while for the manager to come to our table after we were done with our dinner. So she finally came I don't even think she introduce her self to me. So I began expressing to her what a great service we had by Michelle. And she didn't seem to care. She didn't seem to care what I had to say and walked away. I had never experience this before. Erik the server was amazing specially made up the night from a bad experience at the front desk. The person at the front desk the wanna be Manager, if he's your face of your store front throw him as a dish washer believe his name is Jacob training some husky friendly greeter. When I ask about wait time he said it's going to be a while not even looking at me but some screen with an attitude. I asked if we can sit outside since no ones sitting in the patio, his response was you have 14 people ahead of you and we will notify you when ready. Don't know if he hates his job or cause I'm brown I sent my friend in 10 min later who was light (white) skinned and he was told the same thing with an attitude (so race wasn't an issue good thing cause I was recording his sassiness) what ever this guys issue is he needs to throw that thing out the window and put his game face on especially in the service industry. When seated by Erik the first thing I ask was "Do you like you job?" He said yes and love it. Without him knowing I Yelp I knew he knew something was up from the front desk experience or something maybe other people complained. Erik really turn things around glad he was our server friendly, real, and very accommodating with our request. Those are the people you need to drive up your sales and retention my hat's off for your white glove service Erik. read more

Overall really good. Food was excellent. Drinks were great. Our server Mark was on point and got food and drinks out quick. Keep in mind this was also on Valentine's Day so they were super busy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is while in the bar Tony was very pushy and making sure you pay for the drinks at the bar and can't be transferred to the table. And I get it he wants his tips on the drinks and I'm sure he doesn't have time to go chasing people down and seeing where they got sat. I just think there's other ways of asking instead of being told. Other then that it was great. I will return and ask to sit in Marks section read more

Went here with my girlfriend for Valentines Day. She loved it, the food was great. Super long wait, and they do not take reservations. Luckily, this restaurant is located near the Mall so we were able to do some sight shopping while we waited to be called to seat. You definitely get what you paid for, the shrimp linguini was my favorite, and the cheddar biscuits are delicious. The price is fair for what you get. For me and my girlfriend, the total was $53.57 + tip. Definitely will be coming back again! read more

After getting great feedback from some of my Yelp friends, many said that the Happy Hour offerings were amazing. The restaurant has a very open concept with half of it being "inside" but still very open to the outside patio area. This set up was great on the (very) warm summer evening we were there, but I wonder how it plays out during inclement weather? Anyway, orders are placed at the counter and brought to your table as they're ready. The gal working the register was friendly and patient about answering questions. The guys delivering the food and collecting finished plates were all also friendly and engaging. This be our first Happy Hour visit, I thought that because of the reduced prices that the portions would be smaller. Um, I was wrong! Thus, we had way more food than we could finish and ended up taking home a whole order of king taco asada nachos. We did polish off 2 orders of poke nachos, a classic fried fish taco, and a bowl of Hawaiian island poke. All of the nachos had a good ratio of protein to chips and all the "toppings" were super fresh and also balanced to the overall dish. The Hawaiian island poke bowl was delish!! The tuna was marinated in the traditional Hawaiian style and was super flavorful. The overall vibe was casual and laidback. I can see why it's a popular destination for Happy Hour!

We had calamari, corn ribs, steak tacos, king roll, dragon roll, pork belly bowl, and everything was well-cooked and tasty. The hot sauce they give is hot, fair warning! We visited on a weekday evening for dinner and found that the restaurant had largely retained the same look and layout from its days as TAPS. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of other occupied tables during our visit. While the menu offered a variety of options, it looked limited and, more importantly, significantly overpriced. Signature rolls ranged from $24 to $26, and even a simple pork-and-rice dish was priced at $25. We ordered the Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta, the Dragon Roll, and two fish tacos. Unfortunately, this is where the experience took a disappointing turn. The Dragon Roll, despite its premium price, looked very basic, consisting mostly of rice with very little filling. The quality and presentation reminded me of sushi from a grocery store counter. The Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta was essentially chicken Alfredo with red bell peppers, served with a slice of basic buttered toast. The fish tacos were another letdown. For $16, the plate included only two small tacos with no rice, beans, or side dishes, just the tacos themselves. To make the experience even more unpleasant, there were no complimentary appetizers, such as bread or edamame, to enjoy while waiting for the meal. The food overall was underwhelming and did not justify the prices being charged. The one bright spot was the service, which was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, Geisha failed to deliver the quality or value its prices suggest. Save yourself the time and money and visit virtually any other restaurant in downtown Brea instead. You'll thank me later.

We celebrated my granddaughter's 11th birthday with lunch at Red Lobster today, and I'd like to begin by saying I went in with perfectly respectable intentions. Those intentions lasted until the Cheddar Bay Biscuits hit the table. The birthday girl ordered chicken tenders and mashed potatoes because apparently going to a seafood restaurant and refusing to participate in the seafood portion of the program is completely acceptable when you're eleven. Honestly, she looked pretty pleased with her life choices, so who am I to judge? My mom had the shrimp linguini and coconut shrimp, while I ordered the shrimp linguini and popcorn shrimp. So between the three of us, we managed to cover chicken, shrimp, pasta, potatoes, fried food, and enough carbohydrates to prepare for a winter none of us will ever experience in Southern California. The shrimp linguini was creamy, rich, and loaded with shrimp. The popcorn shrimp were crispy, hot, and dangerously easy to keep eating because apparently anything becomes a snack if you make it tiny enough. But none of that matters because we need to discuss the real reason Red Lobster continues to have electricity: The Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I had one. Then another. Then apparently I entered some sort of cheddar-induced blackout because I cannot responsibly account for what happened after that. At some point, I was no longer eating biscuits with my lunch. I was eating lunch between biscuits. Those buttery, cheesy, garlicky little homewreckers have absolutely no business being complimentary. There should be paperwork involved. Possibly a waiver. The restaurant itself still has that classic Red Lobster atmosphere, complete with the lobster tank where you can awkwardly make eye contact with the relatives of your lunch before sitting down to order. Nothing says "Welcome!" quite like meeting the family first. The dining room was spacious, the outside patio area was really pretty, and everything we ordered hit the spot. But the best part of the afternoon had nothing to do with what was on our plates. It was three generations sitting around one table celebrating our girl turning eleven. Watching her enjoy her birthday lunch, talking, laughing, eating way too much food, and adding another little memory to the collection. She left another year older. My mom left full. And I left approximately 37% cheddar. Everybody won. Five stars. And if anyone needs me, I'll be recovering from the biscuits. read more

September 10, 2019 Boy oh boy has this place changed, we would of never driven so far if we knew. This was the worst as far as service is concerned and this review only reflects the service. The food was good and hot. Well we were seated and we see this girl *(Please see her photo) chatting it up with the people in the next table. The girl totally ignored us for a good 5 minutes and was talking loud enough of her personal life. The conversation was about her and her boyfriend and places she worked and places she won't work at? We had to ask for things over and over but she kept going to that table talking up a storm, yet forget us. We had to ask for lemon and butter three times finally son went to get the butter. We needed napkins and waters she did one water and left all others empty? The funny part was we ordered the teriyaki shrimp and she brings a plate with 2 skewers and I am waiting for mine. Then she says oh that was one for him and one for you. Really? So when we got it first it had 2 skewers per order. So if it was 1 for him and 1 for me put them each on a plate since we had no plates. The biscuits as usual were raw in the middle always happens when they are busy they rather serve under cooked instead of waiting. I seen 2 Managers who we never seen before no wonder it was a mess!!! We will no longer be coming here the Lakewood location is bad but now so is this one. Not sure if they are cheaping out on everything or what? Come on water refill or just bring drinks and water. The lemon was a joke after waiting 20 minutes they were so tiny maybe 4 drops if you pushed it. I miss all my servers and managers who made it worth our while to drive over here now we know. read more

Well, folks, let me start by saying that the restaurant is definitely dressed to impress. But let me also tell you why I'll think twice about coming back to Red Lobster. I did the whole app check-in thing, and when I got there, they seated us pretty quick, within five minutes. But then the wait began. We twiddled our thumbs for a good 10 minutes, just hoping someone would notice us. Eventually, we got our drinks and some bread, but that's where our server seemed to vanish into thin air for a good 30 to 40 minutes. Here's the kicker: our food magically appeared, not courtesy of our server, but thanks to a super-friendly runner who even offered refills. Now, about that food. It decided to make a grand entrance after another 40-minute disappearing act. And guess what? The all-you-can-eat shrimp? Major letdown. I'm pretty sure I won't be touching shrimp again, at least not from Red Lobster. And the biscuits? Well, they've had a makeover, and not for the better. They taste like something you'd find in the frozen section of your local grocery store. So, yeah, this might be a one-time affair for me. Red Lobster, we had a good run, but I think this might be goodbye. read more

One thing that wasnt average was the amount of salt and dressing both my food and salad had. Overall I really felt like this place was subpar. This was my first time coming to this location and after having been a custom to how another location treated me, I guess I've gotten too used to it. But for particulars, the bread I had fell apart and crumbled everywhere. The crab covered tail of the dueling lobsters was sort of bland. Being it was maine instead of rock. But the other, macaroni covered tail which was rock was delicious. The waiter we had looked about 70 and she had a hard time reading. She didn't end up being out actual 'waiter' but she did come to us after we had been waiting for a while. So a plus there. If you're in the area and want seafood, come here. It's pretty average. read more

to be honest, ive been here a multiple times with my parents when i was little and, like all other restuarnts, they take out their lunch specials and other discounts so i understand, people have hard time with the economy blah blah. but i didnt like the presentation and the price as well as the service. correct me if im wrong but the sampler was about 13 bucks if i recall correctly and it had 2 skewers of scallops wrapped in bacon, mashed potatos and some stuffed mushrooms/. say what? and the lady told me to wait standing because my two friends havent arrived yet. so im like, "eh i think they are gonna take a bit so can i just get a table first?" then she got me one with some face she made, i have decided to ignore. bottomline, im not going back. whats the point if u can make them wayy cheaper. u like the ambiance? lets go to my grandpa's cabin with fishtanks and a bar. way better and its free. read more

One of the managers at this Red Lobster is a very fat guy. Probably one of the fattest guys I've seen so far in Orange County. He came by our table and asked how our meal was. It was terrible, but I didn't tell him because he was the kind of guy that could kill you on accident just by falling on top of you. Our meal was delayed. The waitress who was handling our order was never around. She was probably had to take a big dump, but that's no excuse We were hungry. When our order finally came it was mediocre. My platter was cold and so was my friends. The worst part is our drinks were never filled. We had to ask another waitress to do the filling. Why do I still give this place four stars after our bad experience? Because the fat manager might read this and come after me. read more

If it were possible to give them zero stars I would. The order was for two lobster dinners and the meals they served us were disgusting!!! The lobsters were way over cooked and the meat in the claws were crunchy like eating deep fried pig rhines. We requested a refund and they refused us. My cousin worked there and she told me that they expect you will never return. They just don't care and it was quite obvious when I showed them how over cooked their lobsters were. They just don't care!!! That's the first and last time I will ever go there, even if the meals were for free! read more

I went to Red Lobster in Brea after four long years and boy, was I in for a treat! The service was good, the lobsters were delicious, but let's be real - those fucking biscuits stole the show. I swear, I could eat a hundred of those things. They even took the time to freeze a piece of cake for me to celebrate a birthday - now that's service! But seriously, what's up with the construction at Brea Mall? At least parking was decent. I'll definitely be back for those addictive biscuits, but come on Red Lobster, no refills on drinks? That's just cold. Literally read more

First time visit and while it was ok, the presentation could have been much better. for instance:- 1. Piece of lemon was the tail end showing some black discolouration and had seeds in it. 2. No seafood dip was provided with the large crab plate selection. 3, Frys had that external skin still attached. 4. Lemonaid was very ordinary and not as good as the Cheesecake Factory quality. 5. The crab meatballs had NO obvious crab meat but fish paste stuff. The service was fine. I would not recommend Red Lobster based on price to expectation and poor presentation. read more

Red Lobster is so nostalgic for me. I grew up with a RL down the street from me, and now we make the trek to this specific location for every huge milestone celebration. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. My one complaint is that I have a e-Gift card that wasn't honored because they said it didn't have money on it even though I didn't use it. I had emailed corporate and they refused to give me the money back for it, even though it was $75. But other than that, we love Red Lobster and will always support this place. read more

If I could give this place 0-Stars, I would. I understand that places can get busy, but my wife wasn't ordering something big. My wife is pregnant and was craving just an order of biscuits from Red Lobster and wanted to place a to go order. They told her that they were too busy and could not take her order. She let them know it was only for biscuits and they still said that she can come back later because they were too busy to take her order. Terrible customer service especially since I've been in the industry myself. read more

Thanks to the commercial we ended up here... Service was great the hostess were super friendly, waiters were great BUT the foodwas SAD :-\ we were not at all impressed. Red Lobster should remind you why you Love Seafood not have you walk out of there Wishing to have gone to Black Angus instead :-( Also pricey. Will not return and no wonder why there's like 2 Red Lobsters in OC..... Because the food speaks for itself. read more

They had great food, but one of the major downfalls was that their service was spotty. I recently went with my brother and we were satisfied with the food and all you can eat shrimp and that we were able to not only have whatever we wanted but that we were able to take our leftovers home. The linguini was TO DIE FOR, even though my brother didn't enjoy it I loved it. Thanks! read more

I have always loved lobster and will keep coming back here about once a month because I love getting my Red Lobster fix! At this location, service is good and parking is usually ok as long as it is not close to the holiday season because otherwise the parking lot gets full fast due to the mall parking. Otherwise, a great location and a favorite restaurant of mine. read more

This has to be one of the cleanest R/L Ive been to. The food was the not the best, but a hell of alot better than in the past. I had a bad experience some time ago and have not been here in a long time and decided to come back and give it one more try. I have to say I was surprised and it was better than the last time I was here. read more

For the third time I was disappointed with the service in this place. What is going on - can they not get the right staff ? I mean, being sat in a corner and ignored until flagged down is not ok. Then the server didn't know the menu. We got our food but she mixed up our order. Last straw had to wait a long time for the check read more

The food here is so amazing, we get the Lobster tail and steak. The bartender makes an amazing Mojito made with vodka, awesome. We will be going back here very soon, it's time to celebrate and this is a wonderful place to celebrate with some great food and really good drinks. Love it! Francisco C. read more

I took my family out to eat here 5 days ago, and it was a great experience, the staff was so polite, even waiters and waitresses that weren't ours, the food was delicious, from our fresh salad to our nice warm meals.... I will definitely travel 25 miles to this restaurant again read more

I am a sucker for lobster anytime! I have been coming here for years, seems like its one of the last ones in OC. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves crab or lobster dishes on a dime. Such a good deal and the staff here are really friendly! read more

For a chain restaurant, it's pretty good! This location is a much quieter alternative to the packed restaurants around D-Land. All the staff (especially our server, David) were quick and very friendly! The food tasted great and it was a decent price. read more

I love how many options they have here. So many choices but the service is even better! Everyone is so nice, shout out to the u and all staff contributors! We were greeted and quickly seated -- the place just has clean, old vibe. The menu is pretty run-of-the-mill, with all the usual staples like pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. Today, my roommate and I split a diner and the breakfast Slam. The pancakes were decent, nothing particularly memorable but satisfying enough if you're craving a traditional breakfast for dinner. The prices had gone up for 2 pancakes, sausage and hash browns. The hash browns were not crispy even when I specifically ask if it possible that could be grilled longer. Service was okay--nothing stood out as exceptional, but it got the job done. The food did come out pretty fast! Overall, it's exactly what you'd expect from a diner like Denny's: a comfortable, no-frills spot that delivers an average breakfast experience but enough to to keep drawing me back! :)
