    .**¨`**....**¨`**. Happy Birthday to Me!!!!!
    Theresa E.

February 14 2023. This was my choice for Birthday dinner. It's also Valentines Day. So I wasn't sure what to expect as far as a wait. No wait.but also kinda busy for 3pm on a Tuesday. Again. It's Valentine's Day. I ordered the tacos. Because TACO TUESDAY. Auntie ordered shrimp and broccoli. Dad ordered fried shrimp and broiled Brussels. The service was strained because it was middle of the shift on a massive holiday. They managed.. I wasn't upset. In my humble opinion. They get 4 stars.it was my birthday. The service was adequate. The food was good.

Red Lobster is a bit spendy but rarely disappoints! Everybody knows their biscuits are great and if Lobsterfest happens to coincide with my birthday then obviously I have to get lobster... if you're ordering lobster might as well go all the way and make it surf n turf! The sirloin was perfectly medium-well (just slightly pink throughout) and the lobster, broccoli and buttery baked potato were all excellent! Jumbo Coconut Shrimp is always a win with the Piña Colada Sauce as is the Lobster Pizza and the Clam Chowder (get a bowl not a cup) but save room (and money) for dessert... can't go wrong with the Brownie Overboard or the Chocolate Wave! $8 might seem a little steep but they're pretty big and really good! They used to give you one for free on your birthday but now it's a free sundae (2 scoops with chocolate and caramel... can't beat free)! Mellisa was our excellent and super friendly waitress and it's a typical Red Lobster... classy enough but pretty chill with comfy chairs, soft music and really pretty coastal pictures all around, actual metal utensils and good food served on hot or cold plates! They're open until 9 or 10 and have delivery if there's a seafood lover in you!

    Popcorn Shrimp

Not the best experience, a lot of issues this trip. 1. My popcorn shrimp were not cleaned AT ALL! (See photos) 2. The table next to us was an elderly couple that struggled with paying on the presto table cashier, they asked for a receipt after paying and later realized that they had been assigned the wrong ticket and overpaid. I will say the restaurant was very clean and our waitress Aarin was wonderful she did her best to make things right and was very attentive. However as we were walking out a different waitress was vaping in a little room next to the hostess desk so that was my third and final reason for my 1 star review.

Endless shrimp. Wasabi and rice is great!

Saw unlimited shrimp on TV, so off we went! Place has remodeled and is very nice. Staff took care of us very well. Orders of shrimp were quite small, so had to reorder often. Food was very good so we'll be back. Oh, try the soy-wasabi shrimp. Wasn't hot but so tasty!

For the price, the 4-course feast is unbeatable! 16 bucks gets you a soup, salad, entree, and dessert! The clam chowder soup was pretty tasty as was the Cesar salad. The shrimp and scallops linguini was pretty good as well, but the sauce seemed a bit off. Nonetheless I still enjoyed it. For dessert I had the brownie with ice cream. It hit the spot just right. Nice, warm, and soft-center. Red Lobster is known to be on the expensive side, but the 4-course feast fills you up without emptying your wallet!

Ordered takeout. Food wasn't packaged well and had to wait 15 minutes for biscuits. The lobster bisque was disgusting.

Not a bad meal - typical for Red Lobster. Basically it's just not worth what you end up paying for it.

Wow! We ordered delivery and it was surprisingly good - a variety of dishes (cheese ravioli,…read moreAlfredo, lasagna, baked ziti) and all were hot, fresh and very tasty. The rolls were great also, along with the fried ravioli. This will become a regular goto when we want Italian.

Being our first visit, we tried to sampler so that we could experience 3 of the apps at once. The calamari, mozzarella sticks and "toasted" ravioli all seemed to be fried in the same batter, and the same oil. I would question the quality of the items even before frying.... and the frying didn't help their cause. I ate one bland, not-so-fresh tasting calamari ring, one bite of a mozzarella stick and one bite of the ravioli. The rest of the appetizer went home to the dog. I mean, this place is dated, and this I knew before eating. Which is fine--I think many of us have a need to experience the nostalgia of the Italian restaurants of yesteryear. Rubber grapes hanging from the ceilings, painted images of Italy on the wall. Unchanged from when I was a teenager in Western NY and we would go out for Italian; the decor and menu seem to be the same. But the quality of ingredients needs to be current. We have come to expect better! A lot of Italian places are doing more creative things, with better calamari. Appetizers such as burrata and carpaccio are present on modern Italian menu's. If you are going to stick with the old stuff, it needs to be GREAT. Okay, enough of the negativity. The Chicken Florentine ordered by my companion was very good. The sauce was nice, flavorful, and not too heavy (although perhaps too generous but that's going back to the dated thing). I have a sampler of stuffed pastas, and the red sauce was very much to my liking. A touch of sweet, not too acidic, just the way I like sauce to be. They have a decent wine selection. I didn't try the desserts. I'm quite a cannoli purist...and I hate to be disappointed, so I didn't risk it. Overall--we'll be back. We'll be back for the friendly and consistent service, the generally good food (skip the fried stuff), and the kitschy ambience.

Casual. We sat at the bar and our bartender was amazing! He was funny and attentive despite being very busy! Service: The restaurant was so busy with diners even at 8:30 PM on a Saturday evening. I did not expect it to be this busy in my head. My husband and I sat at the bar since that was open seating and there were no sit down tables available inside or on the patio. The restaurant will add you to the waitlist if you'd like! Food: My husband and I shared the deviled eggs appetizer, and "the burger" with grilled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The deviled wggs (satan's huevos) were good, and spicy because we chose the "hellfire" option. The burger was huge! I'm glad my husband I split it because there was no way I'd finish that burger on my own! We both left content and not stuffed.

We looked at the menu online prior to coming and knew that we both wanted to try the cheese steak, so this was a bit of a bummer. They waitress who was very attentive told us that we can't order from the full menu for another 30 minutes so we decided to wait rather than leave. Listen, I get it the idea of having a different menu for brunch, but why not post it on your website and state the specific times for each menu? Also, what difference does 30 minutes make? They couldn't fire up the grill 30 minutes early? It wasn't very busy. Anyways, now for the good part: When we were finally allowed to order our sandwiches they were absolutely amazing. The steak was high quality and the gooey cheese had a ton of flavor. What wasn't amazing however was the bill. $20 for a sandwich and a small portion of fries in Abilene is absolute insanity. What's even crazier is we were charged extra for a side of ranch! I understand you get what you pay for, and there's no arguing the quality of the sandwich was top notch, but at the end of the day it's still just a sandwich. If you're good with dropping nearly $60 (including tip) on lunch, then this is your spot. For me, I'll take my business elsewhere.
