Switched routes and chose fumigation for peace of mind and in one day came out and quote once again was under the competition. That in itself was a win but to top it off, a confusion with SDG&E resulted in gas shut off being cancelled. Toby called me at 7pm on a Friday, had worked the issue with SDG&E and his team who originally had the tent over the house by 11am came back and waited 3 hours on a Friday night awaiting SDG&E. Their prompt response and dedication to all my kids and I to come back into our house on Sunday was amazing. I am confident that other companies would have just called it a day and I would have been left scrambling to come up with a new plan and would have had more out of pocket costs. From the first interaction to the last, this company showed honest communication, professional and dedication to the customer. A local business that does things the right way. If you have a pest problem, it might seem easy to use the bigger companies but Annex Pest Control should be the company to choose.

I had mentioned to Darla to skip service because of this, and will resume when ready. But just noticed that I have been continued to be auto charged ($87 each time) good thing I looked as I was getting ripped off. Very surprised of this as I'd mentioned this for multiple months to get ahead of this situation and give HomeShield as much communication as possible. It is crappy feeling to have my money taken like that I called in and spoke with Luca and he was helpful in telling me that I'll get credited back for 2 months, and will have CC on hold so not charged. That made me feel good. He said I'd get confirmation email in a few minutes but it's been nearly 2 hours and no email and my CC still showing no credit/refund. They are happy to auto charge me, but cannot accommodate their current customers with the ability to pause service, causing additional headache for me I'll see if there is anything worth updating if/when it happens. otherwise will go straight to credit card company and dispute charges...I don't have time to keep going back to HomeShield to check if they did their work right Still considering if I will continue with HomeShield once I need service again; but I figure I'll have better choice when that time comes UPDATE: after reading other review of not being able to cancel service, I called right back and spoke with Patricia. I asked to cancel service, but she could not do so and had to transfer me to other department and ask me to hold for "2 minutes". After 2 minutes, she came back on saying no one could talk to me to cancel. Seriously?? I asked if I can get her my verbal authorization to relay my cancel message to someone. Unbeknownst to me, the bot totally messed up and scheduled me for another inspection rather than tenting. When I called to confirm appointment later, I was informed of the error. They told me that they were unable to tent the day I needed it done. There was nothing that they could do and they were "sorry". Total screw-up on their behalf. Stop using AI slop. Do not recommend.
