    Jjamppong combo
    Jasmine C.

It is located inside a H mart. We ordered a jjambbong combo (jjambbong + sweet & sour pork) and jja jang myeon (not pictured) and shared between two of us and it was a good size for two people. Jjamppong - I was very surprised how good it was. My husband thought the same It is one of the best jjamppongs I had in US. Definitely recommended! Sweet and sour pork - another recommended menu. The outside is so crispy yet also chewy. Jja jang myeon - compared to other dishes, this one was just meh. I probably won't order it again. I think it lacks a bit of flavor Enough parking in the plaza. There are seats available for the food court yet can get busy during peak times

much better after eating some jjampong

TLDR: very thick hand pulled noodles. good prices. appreciate the combo so you can get the tangsuyook as a side. would love to see a kkanpung shrimp! Located in an Hmart food court. The flavors are decent, considering there's no good Korean-Chinese spot in the area. Not sure if I'll return bc I live far away but if you're in the area, try it out!

For fast casual, I would have to give them a thumbs up. Jajangmeon was really tasty and love how the food was packed to go. I ordered set #2 which also came with spicy shrimp which was also tasty, but a bit chewy. Might have been due to the drive home so can't knock it down too much until I try it again freshly made. Sauce was amazing though. It's similar to sweet and sour but with an extra kick. Order took about 10 mins but lots to do and see in H Mart while you wait. The biggest knock may be that I ended up spending $30 on other items while I waited :)

We've tried some of the other spots before, but this was our first time here. Noticed quite a few other customers ordering the Jja Jang Myeon, so we decided to try it as well and got it to go. The service was quick, and the portion was much larger than expected--definitely enough to share. The noodles were chewy and the sauce flavorful, though a little salty for my taste. Overall, it was still delicious, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try some of their other dishes.

So I stopped by this spot while I was at H Mart for some dinner. The food took about 15 mins to prepare but I got to shop for groceries while I waited so that worked out. The food was fresh and the portion size was good. The Shrimp Fried Rice went well with Jjajang sauce, the sweet&sour pork was solid. I would go back in the future!

Newly opened inside H-mart, I saw that they had a jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk combo ($25) which is black bean noodles with ground pork and chopped onions in a fried, salty fermented soybean paste with wheat noodles. Tangsuyuk is crispy sliced deep fried pork with a thick, sweet sauce on the side with cucumbers, pineapples, and onions in it. They served a pork version which was crispy with a not too thick batter. The menu consists mainly of Korean-Chinese fushion, they also got jjampong which is a spicy seafood noodle soup. The staff is nice and the wait time was not long.

I was super excited to eat some black bean noodle and sweet & sour pork. Their sauce for noodles, super super good! But the noodles were over cooked and mushy. Couldn't bring myself to finish it. Sweet & sour pork pretty good. Probably come back for the pork.

Very delicious jjajangmyeon! I got the combo and was able to share it with my friend. Already craving for another bowl!

#6 Spicy beef soup with noodles

This restaurant is located in the food court of a grocery store. We came towards the end of the night so seating was ample. It was hard to choose because everything looked appetizing, but I ordered number 6, the spicy beef soup, and chose noodles instead of rice because the noodles are hand made. It takes about 15 minutes to prepare but it was worth the wait because it was delicious. It arrived in a large bowl with 2 big beef bones. The meat was juicy and the marrow was savory. The soup was hearty and the noodles were thick and had perfect bite. It came with a side of kimchi and radish and cilantro for garnish. The spicy paste was placed on the side so you could add it to your desire, but I have to say that the soup and the beef was already very flavorful without it. The portion size is perfect for the price and you could even share this with another person if you wanted, though I finished it all on my own because I'm simply voracious. I saw a lot of people coming by to pick up to go orders so this seems like a popular place with repeat customers. I'll definitely return soon to try the other dishes.

Delicious Jja Jang Myeong it is inside HMart in Diamond Bar. Flavor is top notch and qq noodles. Price is also very reasonable, definitely recommend.

Very nice young lady who took our order.

Finally some good JJa Jang Myeon! This place just opened 3 days ago inside H-Mart. We also ordered some Sweet and Sour Pork with a side of rice. The meat was very tender. No complaints. Will be back for sure. Food court seating is limited but there was plenty available on a Sunday afternoon.

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup with Wide Flat Noodle and in Medium Spicy. Everything was exactly to my tastes. Fantastic hand pulled noodles with great texture, delicious soup and their chili is actually spicy, numbing and very flavorful. They are heavy handed with the spice, I'd say their medium is a typical extra spicy. I typically order extra spicy elsewhere but was trying to cut down on the oil a bit so got medium here and was pleasantly surprised that the level of spice was just right for me. If you're not use to spice, definitely get mild or no spice. This is a dish I would get over and over again and never get tired of it!

What I liked, soup base clear, had hints of Sand Ginger, Umami Bone Broth, hints of cinnamon, heavy parsley/ cilantro, fennel, star anise, black cardamom, white peppercorns, mmmm, I can taste the broth even now, 2 days after that meal, very distinct, and when paired with their in-house chilli oil, not the one on the table, the actual spicy one they exclusively keep inside the kitchen, you can taste the additional layers to the chilli oil and it just brings the entire LanZhou Noodles to a whole another level. The lamb Rou Jia Mou was really filling. I liked the quantity, not overtly big, not too greasy, and had just the right amount of protein to keep the dish an appetizer, as you await the main course. Pickedled Sweet Kimchi Cabbage was also very enjoyable, although I prefer the in house ones made at Yumi Time in City of Industry better crispiness to the bite in their version and more balanced taste. A solid four, because I'm biased. Having worked with two extremely talented masters in Phoenix Arizona, I've tasted what could be the best LanZhou Noodles and Best Xiao Long Bao any seasoned restaurant staff could ask for. My former colleague Hand Pulled Noodle Master chef Shuai used to head the reknown LanZhou Noodles place in Gaithersburg Maryland serving up all those Ambassadors, Lobbyists, DC Politicians, and when we were in Phoenix Arizona, along with Pastry / Flour Dim Sum Master Chef Sister Ying, we concocted probably the best Xiao Long Bao / Rou Jia Mou and LanZhou Hand Pulled Noodles to ever grace the lands of Arizona and in my opinion, was far superior than any other place in Los Angeles. But again that's just me. I'm biased and I've been blessed to sit down, and have worked with some of the best small kitchen crews and experience great staff meals. And this leads to me to my conclusion: Yes, I'm putting this restaurant officially on my #2 for Chinese Noodle Soups in LA. This place will from now on be in my casual rotation. A no frills, real, down to Earth Noodle Shop. Why I like it? Just the overall setting doesn't try too much. On the surface it looks really plain, boring, not much to expect. But once you try it, it just suddenly makes sense, this can be your go-to Pho shop but for LanZhou Noodles and certain types of Cumin Lamb Chow Mein. #1 Corner Beef Noodle House in El Monte #2 Lan Noodle in West Covina

Their HK style food is authentic and delicious. We started with the hot and sour soup and it is literally the best version we have ever had. It had a bit of the Szechuan numbing spice and was a huge portion so we took half home. We also ordered their steamed rice rolls with shrimp and chive and you can tell it was made fresh by the wrinkles in the rice paper. The last item we ordered was their chinese sausage clay pot. It was exactly what we were craving. Crispy rice all along the edges with perfectly steamed rice, chinese broccoli and crispy chinese sausage. It was hard to choose because their menu was huge and we came late so we missed the pineapple buns but definitely need to try it next time. I also saw everyone ordering the lemon iced tea and realized it's because they do free refills! That's another need to try. I felt the value was really great and we definitely are coming back. Service was also great. The waiters quickly came over when you waved them down and they checked on you just the right amount of time. The decor inside is very cute and I love the retro style. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
