Just had dinner tonight at City Barbeque and let me tell you... I left full and happy…read more I ordered the Not So Sloppy Joe sandwich -- and this thing does not play around. It's piled high with shredded brisket and rib meat, all mixed in their BBQ sauce, then topped with housemade pickles and crispy onion straws on a soft bun. It's messy in the best possible way. Smoky, saucy, savory -- every bite delivered. I made it a combo and added fresh-cut French fries and an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea). The fries came out piping hot and clearly fresh from the fryer -- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Exactly what you want. The Arnold Palmer was refreshing and balanced, not overly sweet, which paired perfectly with all that BBQ goodness. One thing I really appreciate here is the sauce bar. There's a variety of BBQ sauces available so you can customize every bite to your liking -- sweet, smoky, spicy, tangy -- whatever mood you're in. And bonus: the housemade pickles are free for the asking. If you're a pickle fan like me, that's a win. Overall, tasty sandwich, hot fresh fries, solid drink, and plenty of sauce options to make it your own. If you're craving barbecue that hits the spot without overcomplicating things, City BBQ is a dependable choice.

Stopped here for dinner after an appointment. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a coleslaw…read moreslaw topper. and hush puppies. The pork was hot but felt a little tough. The hush puppies were served fresh out of the fryer so they were super hot but a little over cooked. The place was busy. The service was fairly fast and the ambiance was typical.

Late night dinner for me and my husband (9pm) this place is one of the few places open after 9 in…read moreDelaware that's serves food. Pretzel bread made with Ale cheese- heavy on the ale. The bread itself also had an alcohol taste to it- maybe it's the batch as the last time I had it I couldn't taste it but this time I may not pass a breathilizer from it alone I had the RBW Burger and the aioli was tasty. The pickles were unlike any I've had before- like the thing between a pickle and a cucumber. The wait staff were nice! The volume was pretty standard for a bar. Only gave it a four because the food can be inconsistent between visits. (Last time the fries were way too salty and this time they were perfect- also the bread)

Absolutely love this place! Great food, clean, great employees! We started with their sweet potato…read morefries, they were hot and crunchy, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with caramel. So good, decadent really. I had the RBW Sloppy Joe- Chorizo, BBQ sauce, cheese and onion petals on a pretzel bun! This sandwich is to die for!! I will be making this at home if I can figure out the right mix. My wife had the Mexican salad with chicken and she said that it was awesome. I also tried two of their beers and a cider. First I had the Delicious which is a light wheat beer, very refreshing. Second was the Webrewedabeertogether which was a Bock, great tasting dark beer and then I tried the Eat a peach cider, also light and refreshing.

Had an amazing time at Opa's on a Saturday night. A little crowded but we got a table right at 5:30…read morepm. The beer and bourbon selection was excellent. I've never seen a bourbon wall like this before. And they had a 2nd bar upstairs if you just wanted a drink!! I got the Greek gyro and it was delicious, wow!! My spouse got the lamp chops and they were so good too. They were cooked perfectly for him. My spouse also got a bourbon flight to try different ones. Overall this was a great dinner!! I'd love to come back soon!!

Really wanted to like this place. Best bourbon selection in the larger Columbus area. The food is…read moregood, kind of an odd pairing with high end bourbon, but it's good family fare. The service has been hit or miss. First time in the server kept going back to the kitchen to figure out the bourbon flight I picked. Not the biggest issue, but you'd think they'd be more prepared to handle bourbon requests. The second time I sat at the bar and waited ten minutes before leaving when nobody would serve me (place wasn't crowded, the two bartenders just ignored me). Last interaction was to reach out asking if they had a certain bottle in stock. I thought it was a harmless request, asking a bourbon bar if they planned on getting a certain bourbon. They seemed offended I was asking. I was really hoping this could be a cool, casual place to sit and talk whiskey with folks, but the service left a bad impression.
