Love, love, love Red Devil!! Great place to bring your family, watch sports, and get great eats. I do not go to any other pizza place since I started coming here. The staff is friendly and not overly stuffy. This is not fine dinning people, it's a pizza! So, if you require the staff to crumb your table or place your napkin on your lap, you need to go somewhere else. RD is old school and run by awesome people. Everything here is great!! From salads, sandwiches, to pizza. Joey's special is bomb, so isn't the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Bread twists with cheese rock too! The pasta dinners are great as well. After a nice ride through Marshall Canyon, my buddy recommended Red Devil for lunch. I had driven by here plenty of times but had never seen this place. Well, now I know it's there, "and knowing is half the battle" (for those of you who grew up in the 80s). We started with the cheese bread, and it was either really spectacular or we were just famished, but it was dang good, especially when dipped into the ranch dressing. Then we dove in to our XL pepperoni and pineapple pizza and we all agreed that it was indeed a tasty pizza! In terms of "regular" pizzas (meaning not deep dish and not thin crust), this was one of the better ones I've had. The pepperoni was good and I actually enjoyed the pineapples (I'm usually not a fan of pineapples on pizzas). The sauce was great and the crust was quite good. I ended up eating one or two slices more than I originally had planned on eating. Certainly not a bad place to grab a pie if you don't want to go to one of the chains. read more

Since we took ours to go I will just say this: Pizza - Fresh toppings, crust was decent but didn't add anything too amazing to the pizza. Overall, tasty but not life changing. Cheese Bread - Good. Cheese was nice and stringy. Buttered evenly but definitely nothing that I haven't really had somewhere else. It's simple and delicious but not unique. Hot Wings - Didn't really enjoy them. A bit rubbery in texture and the sauce was not very spicy. This place is so bombass. During hockey season my boyfriend and I went here often. Normally, being a borderline diabetic, I would never choose a pizza joint for myself. Too much carby goodness to attempt to avoid. I've also noticed that most little pizza places don't have yummy low carb options for someone like me. This place blows that idea out of the water. Caprese salad....oh yes! Thick slices of mozzarella, chopped tomatoes, fresh basil leaves topped with balsamic vinegar. Perfect! Antipasto salad....yum! So many things going on in this salad. Drizzle balsamic over the top...trust me. :) I also had a chance to try a little of their pizza and cheese bread. Joey's special is by far the best. Pepperoni, Ham, Mushrooms, Onions, Bell Peppers, Bacon & Sausage! Now, the cheese bread. OMFG! The cheesist! Whether you dip in ranch, marinara or balsamic. You will not be able to stop eating. So far the "go to" for delivery in sleepy San Dimas, but definitely not my all-time favorite pizza (ingredients on the bland side). It's just the default choice when I'm in my sloth like state, and I need somebody to fetch me some vittles/grub. Delivery drivers always seem to be pretty cool, but on a couple occasions they've gotten lost. My family and I drove 45 minutes to eat here because I heard that the food was really good and it was BUT the two waitresses, Kelsey and Christina, were really rude and we would constantly have to remind them to bring stuff, ex. napkins. It was pretty busy and I understand that things can get pretty hectic but the 2 waitresses that "helped" us were very rude and didn't bother to accommodate us at all. We felt like having Pizza the other night friends recomended Red devil, we hadn't been there in a while and were disappointed with the food that was seved to us. 1. My friend ordered a plate of sausage and it was discusting, it taste like they had defrosted the sausage and then grilled it or burned it beyond edible. We alerted the waitress, she was embarrassed and offered to take it off of our bill. 2. My other friend ordered raviolis and the sauce was nice and hot, but the Raviolis were cold inside (my friends did not want to alert the waitress) 3. We ordered two pizzas one came out burned on one side the other was somewhat chared (once again no one wanted to bring it to the waitresses attention) I write this because I am a bisiness owner, and would want to know things like this especially when I noticed the owner was not around. I ordered a small size but it was almost like a medium with 5 toppings, they were generous toppings, that you could recognize what you're eating. The flavors was as authetic as I could tell! I came here based on recent 5-star reviews only to be sorely disappointed. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza lunch special with a soda and salad. The portions are huge but kinda bland. The crust is lackluster-- somewhere lost between a thin, crispy texture and that of thick and chewy. More like thin and chewy with the need for salt. The pepperonis were nice and crispy (the only redeeming factor) while the cheese was bland. This review is for the shitty people that work here. I've ordered/dine in many times. I'm local so I also go to the neighboring laundromat and often times get either a salad (nothing to write home about btw) or their pizza (delicious btw) after I'm done with laundry. Today we pulled in front of their establishment because my 3yr old had fallen asleep on the way to the laundromat and I told my husband to park in the shade since I didn't want to wake my little one and would be sitting with her in the car. My husband even suggested we get their pizza but I declined because we had just had it the week prior. The sleeved up pos comes out and ask our order and my husband tells him we're not taking out and he walks away saying something under his breath as pussycats do. My toddler and I go to dollar tree and as I'm returning to my car this other man whose way too old to be working there is just staring at me with his arms folded looking like he wants to fight me. I figured it was all in my head until we drive off and my husband tells me that same man came out to tell him not to park there if we're not ordering. Mind you there's no sign posted saying we can't, mind you there's plenty of open parking, mind you were in the middle of a f*cking pandemic male Karen, people are dying. I hope he wasn't the manager because that was truly disgusting behavior to stare down a woman and her small child over a space. We have been long time customers and Joey and the gang have always been great. But tonight we are not happy customers. We ordered something ala carte not knowing it didn't come with pasta. No biggie just give us a dinner and charge the difference. But when we brought the charge slips and the food it didn't make since. She said she had to run two additional charges, those two with the original ticket came to $31. When I asked how much a dinner normally is she replied $22, when I pointed out the total I was paying she replied I'm sorry and walked away from our car. Red Devil Pizza is on the office's rotation for lunch delivery when the weather is crummy and no one feels like driving out anywhere or when everyone just needs a pizza fix. If a pizzeria can make a decent plain, cheese pizza, everything else usually falls in line. I usually go for a ton of toppings on my pizza, but I can probably eat Red Devil's plain cheese pizza anytime and feel completely satisified. The cheese is perfectly browned and bubbly and string-y (in a good way), the tomato sauce is wonderfully flavored, and the crust has elements of both crisp and chewy. Simple but delicious, the way a good pizza should be. The pastrami and beef dip sandwiches come with au jus and they are pretty good, considering it's coming from a pizzeria. Prices are reasonable and they've got great lunch specials for under $10. As long as Red Devil Pizza is around, there really is no need to order anywhere else if you're in the La Verne area. I know everyone in LV preaches about Warehouse and kudos to them the pizza is really good. But if you're not in the mood for a ton of kids running around after a baseball game and actually want to sit in comfortable chairs (not outdoor plastic ones along with plastic tables) Red Devil is the spot. Yea it's kid friendly but its not as chaoctic as Warehouse and the pizza is excellent. Extra Large 1/2 Veggie 1/2 Pepperoni is outstanding. I've been here a couple of times so I'm basing my score as an average of the 2 visits. The first time I ate here was in February, and the food and service was awesome. The second time that I went here was yesterday, and the food was just as good, but the service was terrible! I had a different waitress this time and it seemed like she was really slow on just about everything; taking the order, checking to see how everything was and dropping off the check. Towards the end of the visit I asked her for a box and completely ignored me and just seemed more interested on her friends that just walked in. All in all, the food is great here, but the service is hit or miss. Next time I'm looking to sit down and eat pizza, I'm going to Warehouse. What happened? You seriously used to have the BEST pizza. The only reason why I'm giving 2 stars (The current taste deserves 0 stars) is because your drivers are always so awesome. Regular crust is too thick and too chewy. It's not the crispy pepperoni it used to be. The regular pizza sauce? you can barely taste the sauce at all, or it's patchy throughout the pizza (it tastes like I ordered light sauce, so I can only imagine what that tastes like). The cheese is chewy (like rubber) and not in a good way. I've tried ordering it 5 different ways over the last 2 years (I don't want to give up and I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, so hopefully you'll see this review) and it just does not taste as good as it did 3 or 4 years ago. I would rather pay more to get better ingredients than to have this pizza :( I love you guys and I hate leaving this review but I just want you to do better! read more

Came here with my boyfriend, we ordered an EXTRA LARGE and it was more than enough for him and I, the pizza was HUGE. It looked and smelled amazing, couldn't wait to dig and and grab a slice. The cheesy was soooooo gooey and had that long trail of cheesy when pulled from the pan to my plate. The pepperoni had a weird taste, almost sour, at first I thought it was just me. But my BF said the same thing later. Found this place on yelp and man it was a awesome choice. Their cheese bread was great, when you bite into it and pull the bread, the cheese stretched. I had their chicken salad and it was fresh. I still can't pinpoint what seasoning they had on the chicken but it was so good. Hot wings were moist on the inside and had a nice kick of heat. My boyfriend and I regularly go here about every other month. Usually just take out orders, we don't sit down. We love the pizza and the wings. Today I went in and got my usual Joey's special with wings. My total came out to about $51, so I paid with a $100 bill. As always, large bills are checked with a markup pen or looking through the bill. The gentleman kept telling me the bill was fake. I had just pulled multiple 100 dollar bills out of the ATM, so I was puzzled as to HOW that would be the case. Instead of taking an extra step to validate the 100 dollar bill, he felt as though giving me the pizza for free would suffice. I insisted he call the police because if this bill was fake I wanted to be sure it was handled properly, as I am not a fraudulent or scamming person. I honestly feel like I was racially profiled. I'm a black woman and I believe he may have looked harder and harder at the dollar bill because I was black. We won't be coming here anymore because we aren't going to spend our money somewhere that doesn't value us as customers. My boyfriend came and paid for the pizza with his debit card. From there, we went to check the validity of the bill. We went to Vons in Laverne and bought snacks with the 100 dollar bill. Vons had a counterfeit machine that they put it through and successfully validated the realness of the bill. So I say all this to say on my review, if you are a minority or anything of the sort you may be treated differently. I was at the gym next door and decided to go to Red Devil and order a chicken salad. I walked in, and a male employee was busy texting in his phone. He never looked up. I wanted patiently, and finally, another male employee asked if he could help me. I told him I wanted a chicken salad and an ice tea. I asked for lemon with my tea. I told him I would be sitting outside. He brought my iced tea and said they hadn't cut any lemons yet. Ok, I was patient again. Then came the best part of the story. I waited,and I waited 25 minutes for my chicken salad. I decided I was going to leave, but went inside to pay for my ice tea. That was the ethical thing to do. Another male asked if he could help me. I explained that I had been waiting a long time for my chicken salad, and I was going to leave. He looked confused. He asked, was a to-go order? I said, no. I have sitting out at a table a long time waiting for my salad. He apologized. BTW: the other male employee never even checked on me nor brought back lemon for my tea. I'm really disappointed.
