Drunken noodle with crispy chicken. Very generous portion!
Shelley H.

Delicious treasures in a humble setting. Literally a hole in the wall in a grim strip mall, but very close to the bustling Marketplace. Vague smell of incense. Dad rock and a bar with no booze BUT! The FOOD! I have had Thai food all over the eastern sea oaed, used to work in a Thai restaurant and this is in my personal top 5. Drunken noodle with crispy chicken really stood out. Yellow curry with tofu was an excellent vegan selection. Perfect hot Thai tea. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on the way to up to Bar Harbor based off other Yelp reviews, and it was the perfect reprieve! As others shared the outside does look run down, but the food and service was well worth it. Our waiter was so sweet and brought us delicious free cups of soup before our entrees. We got the drunken noodles (pad kee mao) and panang curry. Both were filling, fresh, and tasted amazing. The waiter brought us a little dish of candy along with our check. I never leave Yelp reviews, but it was these little touches that inspired me to go out of my way to share about our experience with them.

Just 2 of the many, many choices

Wonderful! Fantastic! Don't be scared of location- this place is really great! The food is so fresh and delicious- the worse thing is trying to choose what to get- so many options! Family owned and operated and great service. My grand girl got an adventurous spicy noodle dish that was hotter than she is use to and the owner offered to make her something else- she said no she was "going for it" with the hot and spicy- so he brought over a glass of strawberry milk and bowl of candy to try and help. So sweet. And I ordered soup but she did t and he brought her a free bowl anyway! Highly recommend this place! A hidden gem!

Location wise it's convenient to get to and there's ample parking. First impression is that this place is divey. Avoid the restrooms if possible. The food and service are an entirely separate matter! We ordered many appetizers, drinks, meals (Korean, Japanese and Thai) and dessert. Everything came out so quickly and was well presented. The fresh rolls were fantastic, shumai, spring rolls, and edamame were great. Rice was heart-shaped and delicious. Curries we're flavorful and the vegetables in them were fresh and crisp, the tofu in my spicy fried rice was perfectly cooked, dishes were generously sized and half of us brought home leftovers. We would definitely return! Next time I hope to get here earlier to order Thai iced tea (caffeine alert!). Take out seemed popular while we were here and might be a great option to avoid the divey ambiance, if that's important to you. Service was great! I guess the gist is, don't judge a book by its cover.

No done in, don't get out of your car, they do not want customers near them... lol

They Don't Want Customers Near Them! Pull up and it says first thing no dining in which explains why nobody is there at all, not even 1 car! Then another sign says call is and we will bring the food to you, so they do t even want you to go in and see about a menu or specials. That's was all I needed to go somewhere else and glad we did, I'll make a 5 star review for the Thai place on the water we found after!

What an excellent meal with very very friendly service!! Made a quick stop while driving through the state.

I've eaten at all the Thai restaurants in the area, and right now Red Curry is the best!

Sidereal Farm Brewery - I wish I could remember the name of the beer, but if you like dark ones it's delicious

My wife ordered the burnt ends and I went with the simmered ribs. We felt the meal portions were a bit on the smaller side, but I also think the pricing reflected that. The meats themselves were tender, but I felt my ribs were overseasoned somewhat. The sweet potato side was outstanding, just wish we had more of that. And the Fire Roasted brussels and artichoke side was burnt, to be honest. Cornbread, however, was extremely tasty. Still, overall, a decent meal, but somewhat inconsistent. 3.5 , rounded up to a 4 Star Yelp rating, IMO. Again, I can't comment about the beer, because we don't consume beer. I really shouldn't say the place had a "Hipster vibe", but it was certainly a unique and cool setting for a casual lunch.

Generally over all beer vs. food the beer was better. We liked 2 of the 4 we tried. The staff is very friendly, kind and accommodating and actually took one of the food items off- we didn't ask and were willing to pay so that was nice. Hubby ordered the "perfect scallop" it was almost inedible due to the amount of salt used. I had the burnt ends with peach/caper berry slaw, Tuscan Mac and cheese and sourdough bread. The burnt ends had good flavor but they were very overdone and dry. Mac and cheese had a good sauce bread was tasty. Neither of us enjoyed the slaw but maybe someone else would have. Overall a neat place to try but unsure if we'll try it again.

We started with the mussels and two of the house salads and they were both delicious. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us narrow down what we wanted to eat. The sauce with the mussels was so good. We all go the same pasta dish- house made white wine and mushroom sauce which was incredible. The star of the show was their chocolate mousse which was some of the best we have had in a long time!

We had the place to ourselves for the first hour or so very quaint and we had the pick of a table. The server was superb with her knowledge and suggestions on what to try. We had a bottle of wine "Nebbiolo" which was so good and our meals (pork w/mushrooms) & Bolognese with all fresh ingredients. The only thing we did notice was the amount of food served on very large plates. Could have had a bit more of everything just saying. Also complimented the Chef throughout to the server and she said he loves to hear people's compliments but when leaving and he just barely acknowledged our compliments. Maybe he was tired but how often do you get a chance to compliment someone especially "The Chef" on their expert cooking. Anyway would we come back in the future but it does have a limited menu so best to check before making any plans.
