This is a solid choice for Chinese food in Augusta. Their delivery radius is decent too!!! I have ordered from here for years! Can't believe I didn't do a review sooner!!!

    Pu Pu for one.

First time ordering from here and I can say. It's my new favorite. The amount of food each of us received for the price was amazing. So yummy.

Hot spicy oil. VERY SPICY! But it's the best!

I have been here four times. Their food is good, quick and tasty. They don't have much vegetarian/vegan options, but if you ask for tofu they will make it! Very sweet! The family who I think are the owners are very nice. There portions are HUGEEE! I usually have left overs for days after! The reason why I can't give this place a higher ratting is because 2/4 times I've found chicken bones in my hubby's fried rice! Super bummer! I also wish they would switch container. They still use styrofoam. Unfortunately, I've had food be so greasy the styrofoam rips through! I also have found hair in my food-yuck.

    Bloody chicken wings

The quality of the food has been going down hill lately with raw chicken wings and tough ribs. There are better options in the area.

I ordered the seafood casserole and my wife chose some type of stuffed fish. Before the food arrived we noticed a few gnats buzzing the table. No big deal, we thought we would kill them. Unfortunately, we were sitting near a large potted plant. Looking more closely, we noticed glue paper on a post with tons of gnats - clearly a problem the restaurant knew about. In fact, the proprietor came to our table and said he noticed us swatting away the gnats, and that he was sorry, but they "just put the plant there, and thought they had purchased soil that was clean". Come on, you're running a restaurant and should never make excuses for cleanliness! The food arrived. The casserole seemed like it wasn't fresh, masked by being microwaved to 400F. About half way in, I pulled a strand of hair out of a clump of casserole.... It can happen, but combined with the gnats and overall lack of cleanliness, it's too much. As we sat there, maybe it was just that day or time, but the thought for me was that the best days of the restaurant were in the past. The eclectic decor was dated and had many surfaces (eg picture frames) needing a wipe down to remove dust. I honestly feel bad to leave this review, as the owners are real people just trying to make it. That said, I hope they can step it up. It is a promising location, and there is little else in the area.

Venison was overcooked; seafood pasta dish had a lot of seafood but was heavy and bland. Complimentary biscuits were served before the meal and they were really good, had great flavor -maybe a bit of rosemary? After the meal we were served complimentary chocolate covered strawberries - very nice touch. When it comes down to it, it's just the main meals that need upgrading as the experience, the staff, the front and back end of the main meal were all great.

The atmosphere of this wine shop is completely retro and fun. Great old records for sale, vintage clothes rack out back for some thrift shopping, fun and fresh bottles of wine to take home. We sat right at the bar next to the records were playing and the owner switched records frequently and always had something fun playing. The wine here was so much fun - as someone who works in wine sales it's always refreshing to see a bar changing what wines they serve and have something new open every day. They don't have a set wine list, i believe they just choose what they want when they want and display what they are serving by the glass on a shelf behind the bar. I love that idea so you can go often and always be able to try something new. I would have had some snacks along with my wine if we had not just come from lunch but i will definitely be back since this menu always changes with what is fresh. A great spot in this area and i'm excited to go back already.

We ordered 2 2lb lobsters, onion rings, and fried oysters. The lobster meat came right out of the shell (shout out to some man on the dock who helped us Marylanders with some verbal direction) and were full and flavorful! We are big crab eaters but it takes about 6 or more XL crabs to feel as full as we did with one lobster! The onion rings and oysters were perfectly fried and just as delicious. The oysters came with fries (which explains the ketchup) as well and all were large portions. It was the perfect location too! Not noisy, beautiful scenery, and just all around a great atmosphere.

The waters are the coldest and deepest on the coast making delicious lobsters. They also have local dug clams, corn on the cob all cooked together giving it a delicious flavor. The fried onion rings are very good and large enough to share. The lobster rolls are delicious but the steamed lobsters are the best you can buy. We had 2 twin lobsters (1.25 lbs each) and corn on the cob for $30. You place your order at the Lobster hut (or other seafood and non seafood items at the Love Shack) and find a table on the docks. You can bring your own wine or beer. The water front view is breathtaking. Hands down the best lobster shack anywhere. Don't forget to get some ice cream before you leave. I had Wild Maine Blueberry and it was SO good!! Note... warning !! the only restrooms are 3 porta-John's and not very clean when we were there.
