Who knew having beers while watching chickens roaming outdoors could be so therapeutic? If you're around the area and want a great pour, you have to visit Sidereal Farm Brewery. Set on a farm, this brewery was just fantastic. Their beers were really fun (and delicious), and according to the staff, they release new beers every week. They had light beers, dark beers, fruity ones, and honestly, everything else in between. There is plenty of indoor seating in a cozy atmosphere with a few outdoor tables (where they let you be with your pup as long as they're leashed). They have many chickens outdoors, just roaming around. It's just a great spot. We didn't get to try the food, unfortunately, so we'll have to go back for that.

Sidereal (sadeer.ee.l) : of, relating to, or expressed in relation to stars or constellations. And this label is most fitting for this rising star brewery! Yes it's yet another pastoral paradise in Central Maine. And another gastronomic galaxy of food, to boot. We were blown away by every beer we tried in stylish 5oz glass tasters (for sale of course). The dark Dunkel, Porters, sours, lighter ales, IPAs and many unique choices not common in Maine. But on top of the setting (including heated outdoor patio), friendly staff and libations, the food is excellent! We shared pickle board, Charcuterie board, veggie chilli (with pulled pork topper), and Argentinian Asado Compound Butter Fired Oysters. Yup, Outrageous! It was beer only that day but wine in coming by new years and soon thereafter cider. This is a must visit and only a few miles off Rt 3 on the way to Belfast/ Bar Harbor. Oh, and the bathrooms?? An intentional homage to Twin Peaks! For real!

We are between Augusta and Waterville in Central Maine but it feels like a million miles from anywhere. Beautiful area. Newer brewery. I'm drinking the Mutant Koi, a kolsch style. It is crisp and clean and delicious. It's currently 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon and the place is quite busy. Lots of people are eating but, we are just passing through. Nice atmosphere. So far so good. We'll be back.....

If you are looking for fun low key establishment with high end beer, wine and food; this is your kind of place! The beer and wine are made on location. Very dedicated owners and staff that work hard to make a top notch Sidereal beverage and Maillard on-site food experience. Plan to be impressed!

This brewery had…read moreeverything that we look for in a brewery: great pours, plenty of space, lots of seating options, and great service. Seating and Ambiance: They have outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating as well. The couches inside are so comfortable. They also allow pups inside which I appreciated it! On a hot summer day, it was difficult for our pup to be out so this really came in handy and allowed us to have a good time. The inside area is SO spacious. Half of it is an arcade/game room with plenty of arcade games so make sure you bring some quarters. Pours: We had 4 pints and took a 4-pack to go, all for $48. The beers were really good. I really enjoyed their IPA "Cease and Desist" which they said was their most popular one. Service: We had the best service. The woman at the front gave us great beer recommendations and was so nice and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. All in all, a solid 5 out of 5!
