Parked for free streetside nearby and walked over, got on the waitlist and was texted to return after just 15 mins. My salad was massive, with charred grilled chicken and a delicious buffalo sauce. The appetizers were amazing as well, you HAVE to try their fried pickles!! It was super hot outside so the beers were extra refreshing, I really loved their IPA but their stout fell flat for me. I can be picky! Their Porter also shone, delicious and unique! Service was friendly and super fast. I asked for some modifications on my salad and they did not mind a bit. Grabbed a pint glass on the way out. Would love to come back here and watch a game from the back patio, which is shaded and has misters (and a kid area!).

Nice size sandwich, good amount of meat not fatty or greasy, kraut, cheese and dressing. Fries were good and it was great to have the fruit cup, a rarity at most restaurants. The Pastrami melt was also a good size, enough to bring home half. Also ordered a hamburger plain, no salt or pepper and it was large and kept my dog happy and content. I've visited Purple Sky Winery several times--both with family and with friends--because I…read moregenuinely wanted to like it. I've never felt compelled to leave a public review of a restaurant before, but after multiple disappointing visits, I genuinely hope this one improves. That's why I'm leaving two stars instead of one: there's potential here, and I'd like to see it realized. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning until significant changes are made in the kitchen. The one consistently positive aspect has been the service. Every visit, the front-of-house staff has been welcoming, attentive, and professional. They deserve recognition because they elevated an otherwise disappointing dining experience. The food, however, has repeatedly failed to justify its premium pricing. On one visit, the beurre blanc was served cold, leaving it heavy and unpleasant rather than rich and velvety. The forest herb pasta arrived garnished with two paper-thin slivers of what tasted like canned truffle, which felt more like an afterthought than a luxury ingredient. Nearly every dish was covered with oddly dyed edible flowers that added nothing to the flavor and often distracted from the plate itself. Another visit featured a halibut special topped with potato "scales." The concept was interesting, but the execution wasn't there. The potatoes were cut far too thick and weren't evenly layered across the fish, resulting in an awkward texture and uneven cooking. Properly blanching the potato slices beforehand would have made them more pliable and helped achieve the delicate scale effect the dish was clearly aiming for. I've also experienced overcooked lamb, bland seasoning, and dishes that lacked the depth and refinement you'd expect at this price point. Across multiple meals, the cooking has felt inconsistent, and too often the presentation seems to take priority over flavor. At these prices, I expect thoughtful execution, consistency, and food that leaves an impression for the right reasons. Instead, I left each visit feeling that the experience was more style than substance. It's disappointing because there's clear potential here, especially with such a strong service team. But until the kitchen becomes more consistent and the food better reflects the prices being charged, I won't be returning.

They couldn't get a water or some a soda, or order an appetizer - just had to sit there outside on a bench until "the full party showed up." How effing rude. the place was at 10% occupancy when we arrived. The lodge style theme is nice. Lots of wood, trees, mountains (of course), and some peahens walking around outside. I did really like our server. He had a great demeanor and was attentive without hovering. Always kept the water topped off. The food was - fine. Probably the best of everything was the pita bread. We all liked that, from texture to freshness. Onion rings were slightly undercooked so the first bite kept wanted to pull out the entire onion. Smoked salmon on the spinach salad was really salty. The broth with the French dip was very bland and seemingly watered down, lacking that rich umami that makes an item like that great. The BLT with turkey was pretty good with that turkey add-on. Beer battered fries were good. The creamy chicken artichoke soup - no. Taking high vinegar canned artichokes and putting that into a dairy-based soup is not a good idea. The flavor had that "I'm starting to curdle" impact. It would be way better if they they took frozen artichoke hearts and added that so the cream, chicken, and earthiness of artichoke came together properly.

We had a great Thanksgiving brunch last year at your restaurant with impeccable service, so we were looking forward to the brunch here again this year. Unfortunately, by the time we left, we felt our Thanksgiving day was completely ruined -- this is probably the worst experience we've ever had at any restaurant. Our reservation time was 2:45 pm, and we did not get our table until a little after 3:15 pm which we understood since the restaurant was very busy. After we sat at our table, no staff came to our table for good 15 minutes. I finally stopped one of the gentlemen in a suit with name tag on for help. He said our server will be with us shortly. Another 10 minutes passed, no help. So I decided to get food first while my husband was still trying to get some help. He had to ask three other staff members to order our drinks. After our drinks were served, no staff returned to our table and asked how our drinks were, nor asked if we need anything while we were at the table. We saw other tables were attentively served and were enjoying good Thanksgiving meal, and we simply wondered why we were not having the same experience. Because we did not know who our server was, we had to stop one of the water servers and ask for a check. When we received the check, I addressed the server, who brought the check (shown as "Ian" on it), how disappointed we were, and received a robotic "I am sorry" response. As we were leaving the restaurant, I saw him comfortably sitting at one of the chairs in front of the fire place near the front reception desk, checking his cell phone. We left the restaurant feeling very humiliated, and are still feeling puzzled. I hope my feedback can help you improve your customer service quality, so that your future customers will feel well taken care of. Happy Thanksgiving.
