I tried this place out because we wanted Chinese food. I called to get delivery but it was too close to their closing time so I ordered to pick up. The girl that took my order seemed very nice but a bit overwhelmed. She even put me on hold to take another order. I am in the service business so I was fine with that. I placed the order. She repeated my order which was correct. She said it would be ready in 15 minutes. My dad picked it up because I have brain cancer and am not allowed to drive. When my dad got there, the person had no recollection of my order at all. He called me. I spoke with the agent and she had my order but I guess they hadn't started it. It all worked out after it was cooked my dad brought the food home for dinner. Overall that was not a good start but the menu is really great and also had thia food too. I ordered a couple of appetizer's and a meal. I tried explaining the Thai soup but the girl was not understanding what I wanted and I said there is a picture of the meal on yelp with the curly noodles like a soup. She described what she had and it sounded correct until I got it and it was completely wrong and not good at all. The fried rice was good. The chicken wings were not good. I ordered spring rolls and I thought it was with the rice paper but arrived very small and fried. Not what I wanted. Overall I was full because I ordered a lot to try a few things. The wonton soup was good. I will try them again but would order in person and bring pictures. Overall the good was seasoned well. The wontons in the soup were large and good. Nonetheless, there really wasn't any flavor. I recommend trying this place for Chinese because I have not found one that's good and delivers. Any suggestions welcomed. Thank you!! read more

I have to give five stars to this place. The food and service is excellent, I have eaten food from many places but I have yet to find a place where the food is better than the "Red Apple Mandeville". I personally love the "Hot and Sour" soup but I have had their "Boneless Fried Chicken" which is fabulous and the "Combination Fried Rice" is to die for. These people are so down to earth it is funny, I wanted to tip the young lady at the counter so I gave her the change from my order which was a few dollars and some change and told her to keep it, she told me it was "too" much and wanted to give me the paper currency back, I told her it was not too much and told her to keep it. This restaurant is a family run establishment and they strive to do a good job on every visit. I highly recommend this eatery. read more

Ate here because they advertise healthy and vegetarian menu items. Had two different entries. No seasoning whatsoever and you add your own sauce brought out on the side. Kinda nice in that you choose how much to add, but flavored did not meld in the cooking process so could have been better. Huge portions. We ended up with 5 meals from the 2 entries. We were just passing by the town. I was craving for Chinese food as we haven't had Chinese food for a week and a half (this is unusual for us as a Chinese family). I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the photos of the restaurant on yelp, but there is no other Chinese restaurant nearby that are open during the new year's day. So we decided to give it a try. It turned out that the food here definitely exceeded our expectation. These are not authentic Chinese food, but they taste as close as they could be, in my opinion. The Singapore noodle is delicious. We also ordered the seafood deluxe and seafood soup. All are good. You probably won't get anything better than this if you plan to order similar kind of American Chinese food. read more

This place has fantastic food and very good prices and most importantly the place is always nice and clean.

We just moved on this side of the lake and someone told me on our first night here when everything was in boxes about it. We couldn't cook so we got pizza for the kids and Chinese for ourselves. We really thoroughly enjoyed this takeout meal. So much so that we've been talking about it on and off since that night. Seriously. It's 2am and I'm looking them up to see if they're open today because I've got to go back. I've held off long enough. Can't wait to have some wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken. The food is ok but this is the second Saturday that I have experienced the same person taking orders as it being a hassle to take an order. I even heard your order is ready but I can't put it together because people won't stop putting in orders. There are alot of restaurants that would like to have that problem. read more

I decided to try this place when someone told me that it's better than Sesame Inn, which closed, and even Trey Yuen. Now, I could not imagine any place being better than Trey Yuen, and I was right-- this place is no Trey Yuen. Nevertheless, the food is pretty good. I took off a star because of the pitiful little plastic forks they provide to eat with... The food won't even stay on the fork, and it's difficult to eat. Bring your own silverware if you're going to eat here. The condiments are in tiny tiny packets that are difficult to open, and never enough. I realize this is primarily a take out place, but for those of us who dine in, we would like more accessible condiments. Or I guess I could bring a bottle of soy sauce, too... read more

Consistently delicious, fresh Chinese food. I always just take out.......there is a sit down area but it's small and not particularly comfortable looking. But, the food is awesome! And the service first rate. Ready in 15 minutes for pick up (which I always do) but also available for delivery. Lots of choices and very reasonable pricing. Go for the all day combo specials which include a main dish, fried rice and an egg roll. Can't beat this value for a really yummy dinner! read more

Good food and love that they deliver but don't order on the weekends because if you're like us last night you'll be waiting over an hour and a half!! We called twice and were told that we would just have to wait!!! The gentleman did apologize when he delivered the food but about 20 minutes later we received a phone call from them, I answered thinking it was the manager calling me back and that they were going to give us a credit because we had to wait for so long and called twice, but no! it was a young lady calling telling us we didn't give them enough money!! I paid them exactly what the online order said including more than 20% tip!! She said we still owed a couple dollars because we had shrimp fried rice instead of the normal pork fried rice... We didn't receive a call saying it would be more and in the past we haven't been charged more and the gentleman who delivered the food didn't say anything about owing more, I gladly would've given the difference since it was minor... She told me that she was going to make the driver pay for the difference which in my opinion shouldn't happen... when I mentioned that we had to wait over an hour and a half for the food and they should just take care of the less than 2.00 that we owed and not the driver she didn't even know what to say!!! Good food but poor customer service and this isn't the first time we have had to wait more than an hour!!! If you know your weekends are busy then you need to hire the appropriate amount of people to take care of that business!! If someone doesn't show up to help deliver then the manager should be called so he can come help run the business and deliver the food!! read more
