She just wanted him to note that the kitchen did not allow them to filter out the sand. He exploded and said all clams would be sandy and suggested she was ignorant. FYI, I have linguine and clams at many restaurants and have never had that much sand in it. He obviously does not know how to speak to customers and also has a problem with women. Criticism is met with anger and denial. Beware: if you express any dissatisfaction with your meal, you might be confronted by the owner, who will try to intimidate you, argue with you for way too long and tell you that you are wrong. Even though a manager came by to apologize with gift cards encouraging us to give them another try, we will never go back. This will be our last $300 lunch at Paradiso.

The last time was in May when I tried to pre-ordered 2 XL special pizzas to pick up at 11-11:15 am the next morning. The gentleman wasn't very friendly when I asked to pick up as early as possible. He ended up quoting me around $140 for 2 pizzas. I asked how much is each pizza because the price I saw on the website was way less than what he said. He got irritated and said:" we have to pay for someone to come early to prepare your order, so there's extra fees." Why didn't you tell me in advance that there will be extra fees if I want to pick up 15 minutes after they open so we don't have to waste each other's time? No thank you! Won't be ordering from this place in the future for morning party.
