We spontaneously were in the area due to last minute issues we found in our bikes. We got two different baked chicken dishes that came with salad. The salad was small and not flavored. Everything else was a m a z i n g! The rice was so flavorful and we couldn't get enough of it. Both chickens were fall off the bone and was too good~ We wolfed it all down. Got a Facebook recommend to come to Red Pepper tonight and it us so fresh, fast, and good! Charlie came right over and gave me a delicious baked chicken and rice appetizer while Booga made my Kitchen Sink pizza and it was the best-seasoned chicken ever. After gym, the brother and I decided to have lunch here. He was craving just protein. So we decided to try their Yemeni food for lunch. We both got the chopped beef. It was chopped up tri tip. So it's cheap cut. I enjoyed the flavor. He ordered bread with his and I got the rice . It was much better with their version of salsa. Overall, for $50 lunch, it was just okay. First of all, I have no association with this restaurant. Every now and again, you find an absolute diamond... this is one of those places. The place is clean, neat and organized with a happy crew in the kitchen cooking the most amazing food. I suppose most people come for pizza but we were intrigued by some of the yemeni foods and I got lamb kebabs and my wife got chicken shawarma that were absolutely out of this world! The owner came by our table and told us we should try the chicken on rice and dropped a plate in front of us on the house and this is what I will be ordering next time we visit. It was absolutely fantastic and we managed to save enough to take home so that our son could clean it up after he got home from work. We can't wait to go back the next time we don't want to cook at home and feel blessed to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Please give these guys your business, they deserve it! read more
