They have the worst customer service. I ordered a Lamb Mandi and a Chicken Mandi over the phone a day in advance and spoke with Mashoor, who took my order. The next morning, I called again and spoke with Mohamed to confirm they had my order and were preparing it. He confirmed everything was good. When I arrived to pick up my food, Mashoor told me they didn't have my order and claimed they had never received it. I reminded him that I had spoken with both him and Mohamed, and both had confirmed my order. Instead of taking responsibility, he claimed that someone else had answered the phone and pretended to be Mashoor when my order was placed, which made no sense. He also said they do not have anyone working there with the name Mohamed. He then tried to sell me Lamb Haneeth instead. I told him I had ordered Lamb Mandi and that Lamb Haneeth costs more. I specifically asked if I would be charged the same price as the Lamb Mandi I originally ordered, and Mashoor agreed. However, when it was time to pay, they charged me the higher price for the Lamb Haneeth anyway, despite their promise. This was a very disappointing experience. It felt like they used their mistake as an opportunity to sell a more expensive menu item and then failed to honor the price they agreed to. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant based on the poor customer service and lack of honesty. read more

I have been coming to this place for over seven years and I do have to say after a while I have to leave a review. I don't know why I never did one before, but the food is phenomenal authentic to the core. The gentleman behind the register is always very polite and hospitality is amazing. They always try to give you the best service and the quality of Lamb that I get every time I come it's just amazing if you're looking for a unique and very clean ambience decor design feel like you're in the Middle East and the authentic Middle Eastern food. Got a Facebook recommend to come to Red Pepper tonight and it us so fresh, fast, and good! Charlie came right over and gave me a delicious baked chicken and rice appetizer while Booga made my Kitchen Sink pizza and it was the best-seasoned chicken ever. After gym, the brother and I decided to have lunch here. He was craving just protein. So we decided to try their Yemeni food for lunch. We both got the chopped beef. It was chopped up tri tip. So it's cheap cut. I enjoyed the flavor. He ordered bread with his and I got the rice . It was much better with their version of salsa. Overall, for $50 lunch, it was just okay. First of all, I have no association with this restaurant. Every now and again, you find an absolute diamond... this is one of those places. The place is clean, neat and organized with a happy crew in the kitchen cooking the most amazing food. I suppose most people come for pizza but we were intrigued by some of the yemeni foods and I got lamb kebabs and my wife got chicken shawarma that were absolutely out of this world! The owner came by our table and told us we should try the chicken on rice and dropped a plate in front of us on the house and this is what I will be ordering next time we visit. It was absolutely fantastic and we managed to save enough to take home so that our son could clean it up after he got home from work. We can't wait to go back the next time we don't want to cook at home and feel blessed to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Please give these guys your business, they deserve it! read more

The Yemeni dish I had was really delicious and so flavorful. My husband said the pizza was super mediocre. I was hoping it would be a place we could both order from, but not with the pizza being meh. 3 stars, as I'd give the Yemeni food 5 stars but husband would only give the pizza maybe 2 stars at best. read more

Literally such a horrible experience. I haven't had Red Pepper in at least two years and was so excited to finally go back all to be extremely disappointed. I'm not kidding when I say red pepper was a staple in our household. We looked forward to it every time we got it. I don't even know how to explain how bad the food was tonight. My pizza was DRY as hell (I asked for regular red sauce) as they completely left the sauce off. A pizza without sauce? Awesome. Not. The cheesy garlic bread *used to be* OUR FAV! Yeah, no...not anymore. It was a sorry excuse for garlic bread. We didn't even finish it. I had some hope that the cheesecake would be amazing, per usual. Red pepper's cheesecake is what MADE me fall in love with cheesecake a few years ago...soooo good! Welp. Another fail. I literally spit it out upon first bite. The worst cheesecake I've ever had. It didn't even taste like cheesecake. I made my husband take a bite so I could confirm whether or not I was absolutely crazy and he spit it out as well. Wtf happened to this place??? This is a Yemenese restaurant that makes pizza too! Ha! Walk in late night and run into a room full of Yemen dudes eating it up! I was a bit caught off guard, but hey I was looking for a high value cheese pizza to satisfy some late night munchies. It's in an old converted Taco Bell painted yellow and red. They're friendly and smiley and they have a good variety of sodas you can grab out of the fridge in front of the counter. Don't get a greasy salty pizza from a chain, hit up these local folks! read more

I am a regular costumer who always gets the same order medium size vegetarian. They gave me pepperoni pizza. Apparently I ordered it wrong online. They know that I always order the same food and I work literally 5 minutes away Only. Customer service is zero, the guy on the phone wouldn't exchange or help out in anyway for a regular customer. Customer service is zero if there's anything wrong with the order. Very disappointed won't be ordering from this place ever again. Like they know I don't eat pepperoni and I always get the same order. What was the point of telling me to take a picture of the pizza and send it to the driver. This is not how you provide customer service. I have order a lot of pizza from. Never again the way they handled this the driver which is from themselves and the person answering the call. 1 star for service. Ordered for delivery, food was delivered within time frame and it was hot. I ordered the Hawaiian Pizza, chicken supreme pizza, and meat lovers pizza, as well as the chicken fettuccine. The hawaiian pizza was ok but not enough pineapples on it. The chicken supreme was chicken with garlic and tomatoes and green onions. Needed salt and more garlic to my preference. The meat lovers was ok as well, I had no complaints about that pizza. The chicken fettuccine was bland and not saucy enough. It was a good amount and came with garlic bread and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was actually very good and I used that sauce for my noodles to make it more to my liking. Trying to support local business during this pandemic. read more

The pizza was great! Very delicious just the right amount of sauce and toppings. I had a Hawaiian Pizza with Alfredo sauce. The sauce was even. The lemon wings were outstanding, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries were a pleasant surprise. You wouldn't expect fries at a pizza place to be this good, but they were excellent. My dad is very picky about his fries, and he loved them. Nevertheless, the pizza itself was amazing. The garlic white sauce was fabulous, layered perfectly with the cheese and combined with the veggies to make an incredible pie. I couldn't even finish it while sitting there because the portions are very generous--especially for the XL pizza. Honestly, if I had ordered this at home through delivery, it would've been gone before a commercial break even finished. I also tried their fried chicken since it's in high demand, but in my opinion, it's okay to skip. Instead, I'd recommend heading across the street to Clancy's Ice Cream for a satisfying finish to the day. Their prices are great (tax included), the portions are generous, and although the line is long, it's absolutely worth the wait--especially after downing three (maybe four... who's counting?) slices of Porky's pizza on a Friday night. Overall, the pizza is great--highly recommend. Pair it with ice cream across the street, and you've got yourself a fantastic day. I will definitely be recreating this experience again.

At the end of the line, there's someone there to help carry your tray to your table if you need it, which is really nice. My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and broccoli salad. They're always so good. The portions are huge, so we always leave with leftovers!

I really enjoyed my experience at Red Pepper Pizza! The restaurant has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere with convenient parking and comfortable, clean seating areas. The Yemeni dishes were decent overall, though I feel they could benefit from some enhancement in terms of flavor balance and perhaps more thoughtful use of spices. I did notice that the salad preparation area could use some extra attention, particularly in terms of the cutting station and the tools used for preparing the salads. What truly made my visit special were the incredibly friendly staff members - they were so welcoming and warm! The chef was also very pleasant and approachable. A special highlight was their complimentary Yemeni tea, which had a wonderful taste and was a lovely touch to the meal. I'm hopeful that my next visit will be even better, and I look forward to potentially giving a full 5-star review in the future. Keep up the good work! read more

Purple Pepper Pizza's name has been change to RED Pepper Pizza and I've been ordering delivered pizzas here for 3+ years. I usually get the supreme combo large with thin crust and have been pleased every time. If you request thin crust, they will accommodate and in my opinion the ingredients stand out more on less dough. The friendly service has been consistent every time and they usually deliver to my house in less than 30 minutes. Only once was the pizza a 45 minute wait and they included a free dessert and apologies for the inconvenience. The ingredients are also plentiful and fresh, which ranks high for me. I am comfortable recommending these guys for pizza for the reasons stated above. Enjoy the pizza! read more

I've been a regular at Red Pepper Pizza for over a year, and they never disappoint. The service is consistently great, and the food quality is top-notch. Their lamb mendi is my absolute favorite, but you truly can't go wrong with any of their pizzas! A standout feature is their 100% pork-free menu. It's a fantastic spot for anyone with dietary restrictions, and honestly, the pepperoni and sausage are so delicious you can't even tell the difference. We wanted some delivery but were tired of the same selection offered at most of the local restaurants. Pizza and buffalo wings are played out for us. We came across Red Pepper Pizza and we're pleased at the menu selection. We ordered two pasta dishes and salad. It came fresh and hot and was well seasoned like home cooked. It was reasonably priced and it didn't take all night to come. I will keep their number on speed dial for nights that cooking is not gonna happen. read more

This diner has probably been around for decades; the building and layout just exclaim it. But I'm betting that it hasn't been the same owners the whole time. In my few visits, I'm guessing it is owned by a Mexican-American family now. Hot Roast Beef Sandwich ($17/3.5*) Pretty much hofbrau style, a monster open faced sandwich meant to be eaten with a fork and knife. Thin slice of sourdough bread buried on the bottom, that you probably won't even notice until much later due to the mountain of food that is on top of it. Topped with mashed potatoes, thin slices of roast beef, in which they use tri tip here. Then smothered with a thick institutional gravy that is stodgy but tasty. And a good side of actually nice steam veggies to balance everything out. I did find the beef to be so-so, pretty well done but at least not dry. I was super hAngry one early evening and I was able to kill this whole plate. Satisfying but probably wouldn't get again, a one n done. Weekday Power Breakfast ($11/4*) This is only available on the weekdays and only for limited part of the morning. It is your basic breakfast plate, but you can choose on how to customize it.
