Overall impression: This place deserves to be rated higher. It's as good as the spots in my Chinatown back in Houston (iykyk for sure). Tonkotsu ramen's basic flavor profile is fat, salt, and (in the case of black tonkotsu) garlic. It is an incredibly rich, salty, and filling dish. The broth should be creamy as a result of all the fat, collagen, and gelatin extracted by cooking pork bones for over a long period. Mizu Ramen is none of these things. It is a thin, watery dish devoid of flavor. Either the base of the soup was not cooked long enough, or they're cheaped out on the amount of bones used. I found myself pouring soy sauce into it just to make it somewhat salty. You don't even get a shaker of furikake or some vinegar for the table! While Mizu avoids a 1 star rating on account of the fact that it's not disgusting and the service isn't bad per se, I cannot recommend it as a much better ramen chain, UMAMI, is only 7 minutes away.

The key ingredient in kimchi fried rice is the kimchi and it has to be aged kimchi for it to taste good. The kalbi & bulgogi set was alright, the bulgogi was a bit bland but the kalbi was good! If the food wasn't good here, I hope that you aren't disappointed by Korean cuisine! I appreciate the effort behind the food but I wanted to note that it doesn't taste authentic. Also it seemed like a lot of people take food to go or have ordered online for delivery because we were the only ones who ate in store.
