I always pre-count my bottles and cans and clearly write the amount on each bag for my own reference, so I know exactly what I should be getting back. Sometimes I receive the correct amount, but other times I'm not even close. On one occasion, I was shorted over $20. On top of that, certain employees are rude the moment you walk in and act like customers are an inconvenience, even though handling bottles and cans is literally their job. The inconsistency and attitude have made this place unreliable and frustrating to deal with.

Then they changed the billing date and said I am behind, despite pulling money out of my account monthly. Refusing to refund and because you pre-authorize your debit card, the banks can't dipute it unless Casella answers the phone, which they don't. 3 months of being billed $172, and they don't see their own billing error and told me I was at fault for it being unpaid. Found a new company with real people, not a corporate scam. Look at how much their CEO makes and tell me how they make that much...

But happily, I left our locally owned Mansour today with a beautiful purchase within my budget after being treated with respect, warmth, and dignity. The young woman at the counter was so kind (and wore an enviable bedazzled mask), and took her time helping me find a piece that was special while still within my price range. She made me feel genuinely welcomed and relaxed. The gentleman who popped by a few times was distinctly knowledgeable about diamonds and their faux counterparts, and was able to help me decipher prices and quality.
