Hired to clean bathrooms, especially the showers because of hard water and iron. asked for tops of kitchen cabinets to be cleaned, walls washed, cobwebs, entertainment center dusted,ect. they sent 2 people. the woman scoured the showers, did a very good job on those, but that's where it ended. the guy was supposed to clean the top of the kitchen cupboards. he climbed up, would spray the top, wipe a couple of times with a rag, climbed down put the rag in a bag, grab another and start the process all over again. After an hour he had me climb up and check. it was a mess! I told him you need a degreaser! he asked the woman if they had one, she told him to use the theives cleaner. Another half hour he had me climb up again. It was still not clean. I told him to run hot water and dawn dish soap in a bowl I had there and give me the green scrubby and dishcloth. In under a minute I had cleaned a 18" section. I had him take a look and told him that's how it should look. after another half hour he said he was done. I should have checked, but by then I was done! Needles to say, The only work that was completed was the showers. the rest of the bathrooms were not completed, counters, front of the tubs not cleaned, dropped cleaning agents left on the floor, even a pile of dirt left in the middle of the floor. the entertainment center was half done, didn't do all shelves and didn't move or dust anything on it. The walls were unable to get done because of time. When I voiced my displeasure to the staff, the owner emailed, and offered 50% off. They had one price for 6 hours, then I guess another for Heavy cleaning? They charged me for the heavy cleaning. So I pd almost 200.00 for 2 showers to be cleaned! The other jobs were not completed nor done right. I feel I should have been charged the 50% of the cost of 6 hours, not the heavy cleaning. The owner refused to adjust it.
