The entire 2 day move was more stressful as a result of the services rendered by BSB. We have had expert movers move us across states so we are aware of what to expect and we communicated our needs clearly to the owner Eric and throughout the move. We even had to help and be a part of the move to get it done. Most of the crew did not follow our instructions or Eric's. Eric himself caused damages. The service was not as promised and definitely not expert, there was less care taken than we have experienced with day movers hired from UHaul. One item that was damaged was partially remedied with a good resolution but when I provided Eric the list of additional damages, including damages to the lawn, large ruts, and tried to work on a resolution to reimburse us for damages he showed up unannounced to our home with an officer. I was never provided the certificate of insurance which I requested prior to the move. I understand our move was complex but we were charged an additional $2,233. The discussion about damages went from civil to no discussion at all. The move was not complete after the 2 days and he promised to finish it on Saturday but he reneged and instead showed up with an officer and was not willing to discuss the damages.

The first move was two years ago when I moved from Honesdale to New York City. And the second time was a few months ago when I moved out of my New York City apartment to New Jersey, but Minute-Man Movers transported all of my belongings to a storage unit back in Scranton, PA. The team likes to get started early, and when I say early, the earlier the better. I asked Dave, the lead guy at the company, if he could be at my apartment by 6 a.m., and true to his word he was there at the requested time right on the dot. Both times the guys moved me, nothing was out of place, let alone damaged, and the second time around I did a lousy job of packing. But that didn't stop them from taking care of everything. It was a little pricy for me, but that's because of all of the driving the movers had to undertake back and forth, but their service was nothing short of incredible both times, so it was worth every penny.
