Quick response, flexible, prompt. Very friendly and thorough. Did a great job on the move-out clean. Highly recommend them.

    Daisy May Estate Liquidations

    Daisy May Estate Liquidations

Moral of story: Be careful who you trust…read more Last December our 94 year old mother passed away, my brother and I live out of state and we decided we would need skilled help to appraise and sell our parents 65 year estate possessions. We took pictures of all items and signed a contract with Daisy May Estate Liquidations, as they indicated they had relationships and connections with antique and old toy buyers and would call them for a presale to obtain top dollars on the large collection uncovered. The contract clearly states "all unsold items would be boxed and put in a centralized location". We were told these items would be donated to charity and we would receive a tax receipt. The sale was held onsite and upon completion, we were provided with a check minus the agreed percentage for their services, which was much lower than expected based on our calculated estimate of items discovered, but we trusted them as professionals. We did not receive a tax receipt for donated items To our surprise, we discovered many of our items from our parent's home for sale by Daisy May Mercantile. With more research we identified this store has the same owner as Daisy May Estate Liquidations and they offer small scale consignments of shop purchases to maximize customer estate sale proceeds. This "service" was not mentioned to us and when we inquired about the items, we were informed "their vendors" shop at their estate sales and pay the same prices as the general public and itemized inventory of sales are not kept. We are very disappointed with the service and lack of communication provided by this vendor. After dealing with the loss of a loved family member, you are searching for a sympathetic trustworthy company to help you, you may want to look elsewhere. Please share

I drove all the way out to Daisy May Mercantile store which is about 40 min. each way (and got…read morelost) just to see the line of chalk paint that they carry. I was looking for a particular color and wanted to see an actual sample before painting our bed. I was very disappointed that the color I wanted was not in stock. The owner was kind enough to order it for me TO HAVE IT DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE DIRECTLY so I wouldn't have to take the drive once again. She called a few days later to say she had ordered it to come to HER STORE instead because it was cheaper for her, but I could come and get it. I explained again I was not willing to take the drive out there which is WHY I wanted it delivered to my house. She politely apologized and said she would mail it to me the next day. Here I am 10 days later with a queen bed set up in my dining room (painting area for now) WAITING for the paint. 10 days later STILL NOT PAINT! I called and was told it was STILL SITTING IN HER SHOP! Now I am angry, but she said she will deliver it to my house tomorrow and she had to quickly hang up because she was waiting on a customer! DO NOT RECOMMEND USING HER..find another retailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brits Housekeeping - Does this look like it was "deep Cleaned"?

    Brits Housekeeping

DO NOT USE Brits Housekeeping! I asked for a Spring Cleaning…read moreand Brit said she would "Deep Clean" everything. She said it would cost extra if they had to move stuff, so I "precleaned" so all they had to do was the cleaning. She and her helper were at the house less than 4 hours and "Deep Cleaned" the kitchen, living room and dining room. When she got to the house she texted me asking for payment, before she left she asked for payment and several times throughtout the day. I paid her before I got home to see the poor cleaning job Brit had done. She missed sweeping and mopping under the heat registers, the window sills, the cobwebs in the corners, the dust on the TV, picture frames, and lamp shade or ceiling fan. Didn't wipe down the walls, didn't clean the couch, futon or loveseats. Didn't clean under or behind the loveseat or couch. Didn't clean the oven. I sent pictures and said I was very disappointed with the work she had done. She said she was at work and didn't have her phone and couldn't respond. I paid her what she asked for and all I wanted was the job to be done. Now the house is still not clean and since she has not responded, it's obvious she's not willing to make it right.

If you want your home cleaned DO NOT hire this person!!!…read more I booked an appointment for Brit to come and Deep Clean a 1 bed/1 bath home that had not been occupied for awhile. She cancelled the first appointment after she was already supposed to be at the house and rescheduled me. She then cam out the following week while I was gone, so I left cash on the counter for her. She left after 1 hour of "cleaning" in which she cleaned 4 total surfaces and did not dust a thing. There was dust and cobwebs still hanging from the ceiling fans, all over the windows and window sills, nose prints from dogs on all the windows and accumulated dust on every single surface other than the 4 she actually cleaned. Nothing was dusted or "deep cleaned" by any definition. I then called her to explain and give her the opportunity to come back and make it right and finish the job. She continued to yell at me and say she did everything that I said she didn't. I then sent her a picture of the dust and cobwebs and she apologized then continued to blame it on her "employee", the neighbors told me her so called employee looked like her very young daughter. She then booked a day the following week to come out and finish the job and NEVER SHOWED UP. I am now out the $160 I paid and now have to do the job I paid her for myself.
