I love the Ithaca reuse center. They have more HomeGoods so you're gonna get like big furniture, beds, dressers, chairs, various fixtures, plumbing fixtures, full windows, doors pipes like real building materials electrical material on the cheap. You can get lots of tools and stuff like that. I've gotten a lot of stuff like dressers for $30 and awesome dressers that are made of sturdy wood with craftsmanship and joinery. Definitely check this place out you know, and I think they support local, not for profits with their sales, including theirselves. The other location in Lansing has a bit of the same but it's mainly geared towards personal items like clothing, books, collectibles, etc read more

My mother was verbally assaulted by an employee today. She went to the wrong parking lot when trying to donate, she was confused by the cones and signage so she thought she'd just park and walk over with the box. Before she even got the box out of the car an older white man, red faced, screamed at the top of his lungs "you can wait in line like everybody else". She got back in the car because she was so scared by him. She reparked and went inside to tell the manager because it was so upsetting. The mam followed her inside and stood next to her leaned forward and intimidating while she politely explained what happened to the manager. Then she left without donating. She came home shaking and crying. I'm furious that this happened and want the employee fired. He was a 65ish white male, blue shirt, blue shorts, working at the donations. This man is out of hand and needs to be addressed. read more

Selection was very limited. I couldn't find staff member to assist. Location is convenient with plenty of parking.

Ohhh yea, you need a vacuum-they got it! a golf club?-they got it! 2 folding stadium chairs for your new apartment's terrace?-they got it! a tupperware for your leftovers?-they got it! They have everything and at great second hand prices. Students don't buy the stuff you need new, it's just going to get left behind come May so save yourself some $ and just go here. The place is a bit dusty (but relatively clean compared to other second hand places) and the kids toy area smelled funny, but it was so organized it was easy to find stuff. What a great little spot in Ithaca... There are multiple locations each sort of specializing in their own type of resell products this one reminded me a little bit of re-house in Rochester... There were doors, windows, ceiling fans, hinges and door knobs... Small kitchen appliances, luggage, art for your wall, sporting goods and pipe organs... A veritable treasure chest of goodies. This place is awesome! You will find a much larger variety of secondhand items compared to a traditional store like salvation army. Tons of appliances, hand/power tools, lots of furniture and cool decorative pieces! I highly recommend stopping in here and checking things out. Plus, everything is very reasonably priced! read more

Rude Staff... hard to tell who is an employee and who is a customer. Better signage and some form of work uniform (t-shirt, vest, name tag) to differentiate the staff from the customers would go a long way at this place. read more

This is my favorite reuse center on Elmira Rd! My go to place to unwind. Don't forget to check out the storage containers in the parking lot. Also, love the cycling sales and clearance, gives me more reason to keep coming back. read more

In town, stopped in to check it out.. didn't find much. , but Definitely enjoyed there selection of odds and ends.... love places like this. I can not begin the say how much I love the reuse center. I often find really useful household items that are so inexpensive. For example, I have found the fry pan of my dreams, very old with a long cord, cleans easily, no treated surface to degrade in my food. It was like my grandmothers. I found a set of perfect champagne flutes, they load in the dishwasher without being too tall. I am hooked! read more
