This is a crafters heaven! You could probably spend hours here just looking through their inventory! It's a crafty thrifters new favorite place. I've only been here once over the weekend but I will definitely be back. I found some really cute gems here and they were priced really well. Can't wait to see what I create with my new goodies. read more

I finally made my way out here from Fairfield. And I'll be honest .... I'm sad that I didn't find any good cotton fabric it's mostly fleece also I was hoping to find lots of notions but that's not the case. But if your medium is more paper crafts this is your place. But for a sewing enthusiast you might want to skip this one. read more

Amazing concept- a thrift store for craft supplies! Highly recommend- it's like treasure hunting! Found some gems.

Took my daughter to ReCreate because she loves doing crafts. We heard they have a crafting studio so we went there with that intent. Inside is a plethora of crafting supplies. It's like a thrift store for crafts. Most items are used and in good condition. We saw all kinds of yarn, wood, stamps, sewing supplies, and even birthday and Christmas items. Everything has is in it's own section but does take some time to look around, if you want something specific. As for the crafting area, it cost about $8 for 1 hour of crafting. They had tons of recycled items available for crafting. It did take us a bit to look around and decide on something to create. But once we did, we found lots of things to use. They did have glue guns to use but I didn't see paints, or sharp things for cutting. They also offer birthday parties in their crafting area. ReCreate is a crafters dream but an organizers fever dream. It can be a little hard to look but it's best to just take your time and enjoy the walk around. read more

This a thrift craft store with a maker studio. Came here with the kids and we had a great time. They charge 8.50 per crafter per hr. We made a bunch of stuff. John was a wonderful presence. Wish I had one of of these close to where I live! What a great concept!! read more

Love this cute and very well organized reuse arts and crafts store. Did a drop in creation session too for only $10! Staff was super friendly and helpful not just me but everyone who walked in - young and old. Even demonstrated some sewing stuff to an older woman. Would definitely come back!! read more

What a cute concept! We need more of these everywhere for kids and adults who have big imagination. The cardboard mountain at the entrance is a must see! This place shows you how to use your bits, beads and bobbins! read more

Fantastic store. Lots of awesome crafting materials at unbeatable prices and a friendly staff. I love the ribbon and stamping selections.

This place was awesome! Everything is super organized and a lot of fun to check out. You can also 'buy time' at little tables at the front to make creations while you're there. Such a fun place. I will be back soon. read more

Love this place! Would be a fantastic spot for a kid's (or adult's) arts + crafts birthday party. Don't go in looking for specific supplies--just let the crafting gods tell you what you actually need! Hahaa Be surprised and inspired! read more

Came here with my 4-year-old and we had such a fun time creating some cute pieces for only $8.50 each! The store is clean, well organized, and everything is easy to find. I cannot recommend this place enough. I feel like I stop in once a week just to see what new stuff they've gotten in and I always find fun treasures. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the store is well-organized and maintained. I haven't tried booking any studio time yet but I look forward to doing so. read more

This little place has a fun selection and it's well organized, clearly labeled. Great prices too! Super friendly staff!!

Amazing shop that has been at this location for only two years but in business for 15 years!! What a treasure trove of supplies for your craft and DIY projects- recycle, reuse and RE CREATE! Donations are acceptable in one grocery bag (toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, corks, etc. ) or if you have more, make an appointment so they can accommodate your donation(s). I was able to pick up a perfect "Family ...life's most precious gift" photo frame for only $3.00 plus some holiday stickers for just $1.25! They have an abundance of items, some "gently used", some brand new and lots of reasonably and "a steal!" priced craft supplies. ReCreate offers field trips for schools, craft classes and special events too! Check in with your YELP app and get 50% off one item!! read more

What a delightful place! A thrift store for craft supplies. It is my favorite section of all second hand stores. All very organized and reasonably priced. All items are donated so I asked about doing that because I have so much I don't use and she said that they are pretty full and you have to make an appt. The people working there are very nice. Oh I did a Yelp check in and it offered a coupon of one 50% item. I don't think the girl ever seen it before but she honored it. I wish I had more time to browse but hubs was in the car waiting for me. I will be back when I am alone! read more

Saw an ad for ReCreate while scrolling on Facebook. Had never heard of the place, despite it being close to where we live. We might have passed it once or twice but thought it was a painting shop like "Color Me Mine" or something. Found out that it's an arts and crafts thrift shop. Kinda like a Joann's or Michaels but with better prices. Some items are used but a lot look brand new. Remember when rubber stamps and scrapbooking used to be super trendy a few years ago? I remember spending tons of money for stickers and oohing and aahing over adorable Jolee's Boutique stickers. Well, fast forward like a decade later and it seems like people are now into decluttering so they donate all those cool items to ReCreate! Great place to find cute items at low prices. Perfect for homeschooling parents, teachers, daycare workers, artsy people on a budget, you name it! My husband wasn't too crazy about it but I felt like a kid in a candy store. Fortunately I'm older and wiser now and try to stop myself from buying stuff that is just a good price. :P So I ended up only spending around $5 but getting a ton of goodies for that amount. Lots of fun things to check out, plenty of parking, good prices. The day I went in, they were having a 25% off everything sale (excluding clearance). Be sure to use the Yelp check-in offer for a great coupon! Can't wait to go back and check it out again! Fun fun fun! read more

Such a cool resource to have in Roseville. If you want to try a new hobby but don't want to spend on all new materials you might find what you need here! read more

So many craft, art, and sewing supplies in one store, very well organized. Occasional coupons and low prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Allow plenty of time to browse. read more

Great place to find craft supplies at great prices. Unfortunately, you have to enjoy the hunt because all of the stock comes from donations! One day you might find just the right shade of serger thread and the next time there is none! But yarn, yardage, jewelry supplies/beads, and scrapbooking items are always available. They also carry lots of office supplies and varieties of containers, too. In the front of the store is a crafting area for adults and kids. You pay to use their stuff and create. And there are tons of items to choose from--paper boxes and tubes, plastic sheets and cording, ribbon and googly eyes, markers, pens, scissors, glue guns. Need something for your kids to do for a couple of hours? This is a great choice. (nearby cupcake store, snack shop and popcorn place add to the attraction!) read more

They're open on Mondays now!! It's one of the few days I'm able to get to town, so I'm so glad I'm able to shop here again. You never know what treasures you may find! read more

ReCreate is unique among thrift shops, so much more than the average thrift shop. ReCreate takes donations of manufacturers' trim and off-cut materials along with arts and crafts items from the general public. Above and beyond their selection of arts and crafts items, the staff and management at ReCreate are most excellent, exceptional in friendliness, knowledge of stocks of esoteric materials that one does not see in those typical thrift stores. They host school classes for workshops, recycling manufacturing leftovers into (drum roll please) ART. Well done, people, thank you! read more

Love everything about this store. The items, the prices, and it is all spared from being dumped in a landfill.

Make an appt to donate your extra craft items or just come without an appt to shop if you need something for your next project. Recreate is an adorable shop for your crafting needs. Treasures for those who sew, fiber arts, stamping, scrapbooking. I scored with embossing templates, some bias tape for mask lanyards, and an electric Sizzix Big Shot. Lots of parking. Come support local and checkout Recreate for your crafting needs before you go to the big box retailer. read more

Such a fun and cool place. I wish I lived closer so I could go all the time, but I definitely will be back!!! I felt like I was channeling Jim Henson. My son and I stayed for a hour. They relocated from the Washington Blvd/Industrial Ave since my last review. They are now located by Planet Fitness across from the Blue Oaks Movie Theater. The new location is so much easier to find, and it is so much easier to shop. They have also expanded their hours. Come check them out! They are still the first place we check when we need anything for crafting. read more

This place is really a gem. Absolute welcoming atmosphere. Booked online for a sit-in crafting at one of the crafting tables for my daughter and I, it was marvelous. We put your imagination out there and it became what we made it. They supply all the things you can think of and from there you can walk around the store for reference's or free hand anything you imagine! The store itself was very clean and organized. We booked again with some close friends and enjoyed our Saturday, depending on what time you come it got busy around 2pm.
