Took my daughter to ReCreate because she loves doing crafts. We heard they have a crafting studio so we went there with that intent. Inside is a plethora of crafting supplies. It's like a thrift store for crafts. Most items are used and in good condition. We saw all kinds of yarn, wood, stamps, sewing supplies, and even birthday and Christmas items. Everything has is in it's own section but does take some time to look around, if you want something specific. As for the crafting area, it cost about $8 for 1 hour of crafting. They had tons of recycled items available for crafting. It did take us a bit to look around and decide on something to create. But once we did, we found lots of things to use. They did have glue guns to use but I didn't see paints, or sharp things for cutting. They also offer birthday parties in their crafting area. ReCreate is a crafters dream but an organizers fever dream. It can be a little hard to look but it's best to just take your time and enjoy the walk around. read more

This a thrift craft store with a maker studio. Came here with the kids and we had a great time. They charge 8.50 per crafter per hr. We made a bunch of stuff. John was a wonderful presence. Wish I had one of of these close to where I live! What a great concept!! read more

What a delightful place! A thrift store for craft supplies. It is my favorite section of all second hand stores. All very organized and reasonably priced. All items are donated so I asked about doing that because I have so much I don't use and she said that they are pretty full and you have to make an appt. The people working there are very nice. Oh I did a Yelp check in and it offered a coupon of one 50% item. I don't think the girl ever seen it before but she honored it. Saw an ad for ReCreate while scrolling on Facebook. Had never heard of the place, despite it being close to where we live. We might have passed it once or twice but thought it was a painting shop like "Color Me Mine" or something. Found out that it's an arts and crafts thrift shop. Kinda like a Joann's or Michaels but with better prices. Some items are used but a lot look brand new. Remember when rubber stamps and scrapbooking used to be super trendy a few years ago? I remember spending tons of money for stickers and oohing and aahing over adorable Jolee's Boutique stickers. Well, fast forward like a decade later and it seems like people are now into decluttering so they donate all those cool items to ReCreate! Great place to find cute items at low prices. Perfect for homeschooling parents, teachers, daycare workers, artsy people on a budget, you name it! My husband wasn't too crazy about it but I felt like a kid in a candy store. Fortunately I'm older and wiser now and try to stop myself from buying stuff that is just a good price. :P So I ended up only spending around $5 but getting a ton of goodies for that amount. Lots of fun things to check out, plenty of parking, good prices. The day I went in, they were having a 25% off everything sale (excluding clearance). Great place to find craft supplies at great prices. Unfortunately, you have to enjoy the hunt because all of the stock comes from donations! One day you might find just the right shade of serger thread and the next time there is none! But yarn, yardage, jewelry supplies/beads, and scrapbooking items are always available. They also carry lots of office supplies and varieties of containers, too. In the front of the store is a crafting area for adults and kids. You pay to use their stuff and create. And there are tons of items to choose from--paper boxes and tubes, plastic sheets and cording, ribbon and googly eyes, markers, pens, scissors, glue guns. Need something for your kids to do for a couple of hours? This is a great choice. (nearby cupcake store, snack shop and popcorn place add to the attraction!) read more

They relocated from the Washington Blvd/Industrial Ave since my last review. They are now located by Planet Fitness across from the Blue Oaks Movie Theater. This place is really a gem. Absolute welcoming atmosphere. Booked online for a sit-in crafting at one of the crafting tables for my daughter and I, it was marvelous. We put your imagination out there and it became what we made it. We booked again with some close friends and enjoyed our Saturday, depending on what time you come it got busy around 2pm. This is a great Roseville find. Been visiting this place since it's beginning and every time I go it gets better. As people find this place to recycle the donations and finds just get better and better. I really like how the place is operated on a team like atmosphere and Donna does a good job with her team and the customer is treated well! I have never gone to any of the classes to make a project but I just go there and find things, treasures.
