This is our favorite Mexican restaurant for many many years. Tonight we were and it was either over the top. They have a mariachi band kind of loud, but so much fun and great atmosphere. The food is fantastic. I had a veggie fajita my wife had chicken pita. Plenty of food. I think it's the first time I ever took, doggy bag. I'd recommend it for anybody. read more

Really good food here. This is the second time my friends took me here to meet and eat!

I have been to the Aurora location and the Briarwood location several times and the food has always been good. I ordered a cheese enchilada plate. The food came quickly. I cut into my enchilada and could tell the cheese was not melted and it was only warm. I sent it back. The waiter said they made me a new plate and waited a minute while I checked it out . This time it was overly done. There was no offer to make it right. I tried to eat it but it just wasnt good. I thought I might be compensated for the meal but wasnt. I did not leave a tip, not only for that but my friend ordered sour cream and it wasnt brought with the meal so she had to ask for that again. I emailed the company to get a refund or some compensation but they didn't respond. They are also now adding a 3.5% service fee if you use a card. I guess I need to find a new Mexican restaurant read more

Been meaning to try this place - finally stopped by. My 1st test of any Mexican restaurant I try is the salsa and the Margaritas. If you pass that test, I got back for food! Not only was the bartender great, the salsa was fantastic (I like spicy!) but they also served a fantastic bean dip with the complimentary chips! The house margarita was also very good! I loved it all so much that I stayed for 2nd marg so I could finish my dips! If you can make me stay for a 2nd margarita- I'm coming back for the food! Well done! read more

Ordered a takeout for 5 people for Mother's Day to avoid the crowds. They missed an ordered so we called to ask for a refund. The gal Tatiana just hung up. I called back thinking I was disconnected, after explaining my situation she hung up again. Real De Minas does not disappoint! We came to celebrate a birthday and were blessed with a great experience. Front parking and no wait. We were seated righ away our waitress, Andrea was very attentive, sweet, and prompt with our food. We tried the spicy guava margarita, which was delish! Sweet with a hint of kick! Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. We asked for a spicy salsa which had a bite! Our main meals consisted of veggie taco salad and chimichanga. Very flavorful! The othera in our party ordered the grilled meats and shrimp for 2... It came out with its own burner filled with beef, chicken, shrimp and grilled veggies. In the center was a delightful stringy queso with green chili. In addition to that, there were baked potatoes and chili that ended up in our to go bags! As a special surprise, a free dessert and a song! Hands down, this is our go to Mexican for casual dinners, celebrations and big gatherings... Staff is always helpful and quick even with a packed restaurant. It is almost always busy but service rarely dips as a result. The food is always good, they tend to update the menu on a regular basis, love the chips and differnt types of salsa/beans that they bring to every table. Hubs and I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area. But now they've moved to a stand alone building and are much bigger. They also used to have happy hour everyday! Now it's just M-F. We were in the area so enjoyed chips and salsa and house margs. The margs are 16 oz, but were too sweet in my opinion. Also, the drink menu does not have any prices. This is SUCH a huge pet peeve of mine. Like, do you change the price depending on who's ordering?? Based upon our bill, I determined that the house marg was $11. This restaurant was mentioned in a conversation with coworkers. I finally went and tried the oyster rellenos and they were so good. But the enchiladas?! SO GOOD! Also, tried several different margaritas this night and ALL were at least an 9/10. Highly recommend the patio and Tanner was extremely helpful with folding the umbrella down for us when it was windy and recommendations for dinner. read more

I really enjoy RDM. This last trip however wasn't the best. The order was wrong and fajitas were almost burnt solid. The server kept walking up and standing on my feet. No matter what side of the table I was turned to he would walk up and stand on my white shoes. He did it 5 times. Started thinking it was on purpose. The right one came clean but the left one ripped the material. Not sure what this was all about because it has never happened before. Like I said I'm not sure if it was on purpose but We won't be going back to find out. read more

Why there was a wait for this place is beyond me. Service was terrible; forgot a marg and when I asked to just take it off the tab the server said it was at the bar. It had been 10 minutes and I watched them make it and not put the correct liq in it. When we asked to order we were told we had to wait because our server wanted to take another order first. He explained things in the menu so patiently and I knew he was busy but did not make us feel bad. It's unfortunate to leave a 2 star review as we use to frequent this location. Our last visit was probably 6 months ago. We hadn't been back because of the cost. We thought we would try again, but quickly realized why we hadn't been back in so long. Super expensive for the quality of food. We ordered the same mixed drinks and they all came out looking and tasting different. The service was not there as it use to be. No refills offered till we had to get up and ask. Appetizer took too long to come as we had to ask twice for it. When we got there just after 5pm, it was pretty empty, the atmosphere didn't have that energy in past years. Terrible service! I placed an order online and tried to pay ahead with credit card since I was gifting a dinner to my parents. They were unable to do this for me. Then ordered for my dad to pick it up and realized I ordered wrong and called 3 min later to change it and was told it was too late and I cannot cancel it! Overall rude and unhelpful! This is the forth visit. Seems like they added to the menu. The paella was pretty good. My son and I slit the dish which was a lot for both of us. We had the oysters, but they were without flavour. I don't recommend them. This Kia slit a cheese and bean nacho plate that was Hugh. we order blister Chili's but never got them, which was the third time I ordered them without getting them. shame. We ate here the last trip to Denver and I had to stop here again. I told our group that at least one night we had to eat here. I hoped the food would be as good as last time. Well, the food was just as good as I remembered. Everyone thought the place was great. Good portions. Excellent. The only thing I was disappointed about was when they told me their Mexican cole slaw salsa (not sure what the actual name is) was only available on the weekends. I'm on the road and needed a DoorDash. In Colorado they have very good Mexican food so I tried to pick an authentic restaurant for the delivery. This place hit the spot. I had enchiladas with the egg and it was fantastic and fresh. I grew up in NM so I prefer New Mexico style to Tex mex. I also live in Virginia and frequent California. Mexican food tastes differently everywhere you go. But one thing will always make it taste great and that's the freshness of the food. The sauces may taste slightly different for example these beef enchiladas had a hint of sweetness in the sauce. It worked really well with probably the most fresh Mexican rice I've ever had. It melts in your mouth. Also the first bite I had was of the guacamole and it was 11 out of 10 stars. Excellent! Beans on point too. I eat at lots of Mexican places and rarely review. Ate in and ordered take out. Eating in: food is yummy (flavor and not salty), portions are skimp and high priced. Ambiance is clean and nice! Unfortunately, be careful when ordering the fajitas or a dish that requires a hot pot plate. My arm got burned from the handle, no handle cover to protect. Yes, as humans we try to be careful but it happens, right? Well the manager did NOT care. She said we should've watched what we were doing. Really disappointed. Ordered takeout while family is in town. We typically eat here monthly and never have a problem with the food. Came home to open the containers to see that the fajitas looked more like someone else's leftovers than a full order. The chips and salsa came home as a small bag and half full container of salsa. It shouldn't matter if it's takeout or sitting down at the restaurant- the food quality and quantity should remain the same. This is our favorite place to go for Mexican food - the service is always outstanding - super fast and super friendly. The chips and salsa and bean dip that they bring out to start are really good, a nice amount of spice to them. The Carne Aasada is great but so are the enchiladas and everything else we have tried. They have a big bar and some great margaritas and ice cold beer. The patio is also big and comfortable. Excellent place, highly recommend it. read more

Not too bad for my first visit to their new location. I like how the dining room is situated away from the front door and drafts (during winter) and a garage door style wall (for summer). The rooftop wasn't open but will be once they get the heaters in place. The food was good. Portions here are generous however i still managed to finish off my entree.
