Five stars for Trojan Storage, not just because of the facility and services, but because Cass made the entire experience amazing and stress-free. Finding the right storage setup can be confusing and overwhelming, but Cass walked me through everything step-by-step. She took the time to explain all of their services thoroughly and made it clear from the beginning that she believes in being transparent with her customers. That honesty and genuine approach immediately put me at ease. Cass is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. She applied my discount, gave me a thorough tour, answered all of my questions, and gave me her undivided attention throughout the entire process. Her customer service is truly top-notch. I stopped at the office to ask why, and was told "our company does that every six months or so." I also emailed them twice asking for a better justification of such a large increase and did not receive any reply. It's clear what they are doing. They offer what appears to be a good price up front (ignoring the first two months at half off as everyone does that), then once you get everything moved in, they know you can't easily just move to another place so up goes the rent.

The other day I had to pull half of my things out in order to access the item I was looking for and it took a good couple of hours and one of the office dudes comes wheeling along in that goofy golf cart to scold me about having my stuff in the hallway. What am I supposed to do with it? My rent is paid and I'm there working away and I am hassled why? The top building is always dirty, the lowest building attached to the office smells like an ashtray, I am talking the whole building b/c the office dudes sit in the first drive up unit and smoke and it's pretty likely anyone storing anything in that building is going to discover the stuff they stored smells like they are smokers. The guy with a unit right across from mine told me (as he was moving out) he found a bunch of rodent droppings all over his stuff inside his unit. My advice is take your business somewhere else this place will make you feel like you matter very little and you can get treated like that anywhere. I'm moving out as soon as I find a new storage place. Here is an update: since posting my review here, Sherlock Storage sent me an eviction e-mail stating that I violated the lease agreement and they cancelled my gate access and I can only get into my unit escorted by someone from the office during their office hours. This is not right!

Yet despite such a low bar for beating the competition, Peoples Storage still goes above and beyond to provide great security, facilities, and customer service. Accessing the unit is easy, the bay is huge, the elevators are large, and I've never had to wait on someone else to access my unit. They have a bunch of dollies on site and their shop is very fairly priced if you need a lock, boxes or packing material. The building is gated making it even more secure. Super easy to get to and lots of parking by it, plus there was a communal dolly in the hallway that we all kind of shared and it SAVED me. I wanted to upgrade to a 10x10 and found it to be easy. I will say- do not request to switch units until you are ready to move your shit. I had 24 hours between paying the difference and needing to be out, so be ready! This is more of a company policy than a note on this location. I love that I can access this location on an app. I hate getting out to type the numbers, esp in the rain, so this is super easy for me. One time my app and code weren't working, so I called and got no answer. Within a few min, I got a call back, and the owner let me know she was in a meeting but would do whatever she could to help me, including wait at the gate to let me in. I was able to get back in and get everything reset quickly with her and was SO grateful for the fast help. It's nice having someone on site to help so that I don't have to call the corporate number. The autopay is easy. I love the system. This is a great location for me and is super easy to park and get in and out of.

The facility is still great, the prices are still fair, Jeannie is still awesome.
