Extremely disappointing experience overall. Delivery dates keep getting changed without my approval, and last month I was almost given more water than I ordered, even though I never modified my standing order. I've even had to buy extra water from the store because I can't rely on deliveries happening as scheduled. Trying to reschedule on the app while traveling was nearly impossible, with no available dates for weeks. The only positive has been the friendly delivery driver. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the ongoing service issues. I'll be looking for another option. read more

Horrible customer service. I signed up through Costco and my delivery got postponed 3 times with no communication. When I called in each time, I got different excuses for the delay, and was assured the next day it would deliver. I clearly failed to read any reviews of this company prior to singing up. On the 4th attempt the driver was here and then left only to show up hours later to drop off the water. Then while I was installing it, I needed clarification on some of the steps, so I called in and two different reps told me to Google it. Can't make this up, and of course I checked resources prior to calling, I still needed help or I wouldn't have called! Once these waters are gone I will be cancelling the service and switching to a local smaller business, because the stress is not worth it. I have had a host of issues with this company. They had some kind of update to their payment system in January. Suddenly, my card wasn't working in their system, though it was working everywhere else. It took almost a month and 5 separate calls to them to find out that for some reason my card was marked as being attached a closed account. I checked with my bank and the issue was definitely with Primo's system, and not my card. The finally got the payment issue resolved after call number 5. The other issue is that the dispensers they rent now are faulty. I've had this service for a few about 3 years, and the dispenser I had for the first 2 and a half years worked fine for that time. They about 6 months ago, the cold water tap started hiccuping and wasn't a steady stream anymore. They have since had to replace my dispenser 3 times, with each one having the same issue after a few weeks. After this happened with the 3rd dispenser in about 5 months, I called them again for a replacement. This time, the dispenser they dropped off almost immediately leaked all of the water from the tank I just refilled it with. When I called to cancel my service, they told me that they can pick up the two dispensers that are now at my apartment and the empty water bottles. But they are refusing to pick up the full bottles that I can't use. I hate this company! I also hate that they have a monopoly in my area and it's nearly impossible to find a local company to work with instead. read more

NO, NO, NO NO! DON'T DO IT!!!!! Let me count the ways: 1) Since merger no one answers the phone. It has a recording telling you how busy they are and then it hangs up. 2) A payment made back on 4-17-25 STILL has not been credited and it's pissing me off getting an email saying that I haven't paid. They have it set up that you can't respond to those emails. 3) Chat bot is a joke, don't bother. 4) Numerous messages through their website are only responded to with an auto reply saying they will reply, but of course, they don't. 5) They decided on their own to change our water, without our permission and now I have to try and get rid of it, but of course, how, if you can't reach anyone. It's Arrowhead Mountain instead of Sparklets Purified, doesn't have a handle, which we NEED, and to make it all worse, the bottles were FILTHY!!!! I cannot even give them one star. I was on hold for 1 hour for the second time. they dropped 12 bottles of water off without any notice that they were coming. We now have 17 empty bottles because they cancelled our delivery. the next one is scheduled for July 10th, 2025????? you must be kidding us. I had Sparklets for over 20 years. Update: I made it crystal clear to them: if they did not show up, I would dispose of the equipment and bottles without a second thought. Once again, they never showed up. No phone call, no email, no text message -- nothing. I waited at home all day for them to show, their customer service assured me they would be here, and bupkis. This is EXACTLY THE REASON why I canceled my service with them. This cr--py company thinks everyone's life revolves around PrimoWater and we can just put our entire being on hold for them. Two consecutive days I waited from 7am until 8pm for not even so much as a text message. And here's the bigger kicker: they sent me the wrong g--d--- dispenser than what I was being charged for! That is how scummy this company is. The dispenser they sent was filthy, to boot. They wanted a $110 exchange fee, on top of an additional $7/month for the wrong dispenser that looks like it was never cleaned in its existence. And they wonder why I'm p----d and why I wouldn't consider another retention promotion. (What good is a retention promotion when the same problems that led to it are continuing to keep occurring without any change or attempt to address the issue?) Water may come from the "salt of the earth" but this water company is the filthy scum that floats on top. read more

DO NOT USE PRIMO BRANDS / READYREFRESH. They are unreliable, unresponsive, and completely disorganized. I placed an order for water delivery on May 31 and again for June 10. Not only did they cancel the first one, but they also rescheduled twice for the second--claiming they're switching companies, which is not my problem as a paying customer. We've literally gone days without water, and no one will reply to emails, return calls, or take accountability. I've now sent over 25 emails/messages. Nothing. They keep pushing delivery dates like we're supposed to just deal with it. You can't run a company that provides drinking water like this and expect people to tolerate it. If I ran my business this way, I'd be out of one. If you care about service, reliability, or basic communication--do not sign up with this company. After over 10 years of using Poland Springs/Ready Refresh/Primo Brands we have officially severed our engagement. So many issues with this company over the last 2 years. Constantly receiving items in our order that were not asked for or approved and then being charged for those items. Multiple attempts to remove said added items from upcoming deliveries that never really went away until I called and yelled at a customer service rep. Issues with delivery and rescheduling and pick up of empty bottles. Confusing and inconsistent billing - who gets 3 completely different invoices with completely different balances within a 24 hour period? Trying to track, precisely, what you're being charged for is not easy. The chat bot is completely useless. Getting a live human being on the phone is unbelievably difficult. We have now switched to Optimum Water and are MUCH happier. read more

Now this ReadyFresh took over and they stopped my auto pay I had established YEARS AGO and now, my account is IN ARREARS OVER $200 with late fees charged over 4 months now. There was also a price increase I was never notified of even though THEY HAVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS !!! They charged me for an OZARKA 5 gallon bottle of water ($17.99) that I DID NOT ASK FOR instead of my usual charge of $7.49 NOW $8.49/ 5 gallon water bottle, price increase "sometime last August " . All these negative reviews are true! This company does not care and everyone at customer service lies and are lazy. Absolutely the worst company to ever have to do business with. Cancelled my service and all I want them to do is pick up this god forsaken cooler that's been on my porch for a week now. Call customer service and you're automatically placed on hold. It's been an hour now and forced to listen to pingy piano concertos the entire time. My next move is to send them a certified letter advising them that I disposed their equipment and if they still want it back they can dig thru the trash. The company sent me a link to fill out a rating/review on another site, and I thought I should post it here as well. If I were them, I really wouldn't be encouraging customers to leave public feedback, but they have a monopoly, so I guess they don't care. Anyway, here's the review I left them on the other website... I was a very happy Sparkletts customer for years. Then when Primo bought them, I was a mostly happy Primo customer for years. Since the recent merger, I am now a ReadyRefresh customer... and to say that I am very unhappy would be putting it mildly. I can understand delivery schedule disruption with the merger. All good there. But when the delivery finally did happen, the driver left a full order of six (6) 5-gallon bottles even though I already had 6 of them on the front porch with no empties. My plan has always been "replace what I leave out empty," so that was very confusing. One 75 minute call with ReadyRefresh customer service later, and I learned that they had changed my plan without informing me, because they don't offer that plan. Whatever... I just have a bunch of water and can skip some deliveries. But then I started getting into the bottles that they had delivered, and none of them had tops that work with my machine. They all have extremely hard plastic tops, presumably for top-load machines with a metal spike that would puncture them under the weight of the 40lbs of water. But I have a bottom-loader with a plastic hose, so that's no good. Because there was no longer a little foam top to puncture through, I had to force the hard plastic one open with a screwdriver and a hammer. I called ReadyRefresh again to ask them what I could do or whether they could send replacement bottles with the correct tops for my machine. This call was 45 minutes on hold before the rep answered, then another 60 minutes of hold times throughout our call while he "checked into" various things. I literally had to put the call on speaker and talk to him while I was in the shower because the call lasted so long. He could not figure out anything about the bottle tops. It seemed like he didn't have any knowledge of or access to information about what kinds of tops the bottles come with, what kind of machine I had, what kind of bottle tops I need... The end result of our 2 hour phone call was him telling me that he has "escalated the issue to another team that will reach out to you after they research" and that "in the meantime, we recommend that you keep using your screwdriver solution." SERIOUSLY?! I ended up just keeping one of the foam tops from an old water bottle and now I rip the cap off completely and snap that one on instead. So the bottles work with my bottom-loader machine, but I don't have sanitary bottle tops anymore since I've been using the same one now for many bottles. It's been at least 3 weeks since that phone call, during which I called ReadyRefresh again because they double-billed me, which the rep was also unable to do anything about without "escalating to another team who can research the issue." The first time I heard from ReadyRefresh was an email just now with a link to a survey about how many stars I would give them. And here we are. So here's my feedback: If I could give 0 stars, I would, but that's not fair. So I gave 1 star because you do actually still bring water to my house. Other than that, your Customer Service gets -5 stars for being an absolutely useless waste of time, including the time it took to Google the phone number because you refuse to list it on your website. Your delivery drivers actually get 5 stars for being hard-working people who take care of the customers and far exceed the terrible service that the corporation seems determined to (mostly not even) provide. If there were literally any other company in Los Angeles that did residential water delivery, I would switch to them in a heartbeat. But Primo/ReadyRefresh own (or are at least the distributors for) EVERY company in the L.A. area that I was able to find on Google, Yelp, or Reddit. So congratulations on cornering the Los Angeles market to the point that you have complete freedom to provide the worst possible customer experience at the greatest cost of money, time, and energy to your customers because our only alternatives are the tap and the grocery store. I hope you're proud of yourselves, although I don't think you even care about that. If anyone from the Federal Trade Commission happens to read this, I would suggest looking into antitrust issues surrounding ReadyRefresh here in Los Angeles. And if anyone looking to choose a water delivery service in Los Angeles reads this, you don't have any other company to choose, so at least now you know what you're getting into. Missed deliveries very often, company changing my request without my authorization and lazy employees leaving my delivery outside on the main steps of a busy street where anyone can help themselves to them when I have a porch! They're scripted and wrongly process your words AND we've been told that NOW all payment cards will be put on AUTO PAY! We didn't agree to this. Since the company changed in April 2025, I can't get water delivered. I've been with Sparklets for 20 years, even when they changed the company name to My Water+. All was well until last month. Now, no one answers telephones, and don't try their Chat section. It is a computer generated system that does not address your issue. I originally signed up for Primo (formerly ReadyFresh) water delivery service through Sam's Club, but ever since the transition from ReadyFresh to Primo, the experience has been awful. Deliveries are unreliable, and the customer service is even worse. Today I called to cancel my service the first agent put me on hold for more than 15 minutes. I hung up, called back, and was on hold for nearly 20 minutes again with no help. What used to be a convenient service has turned into a frustrating mess.
