I have had my Puragain system for about two years as of August 2026. While I was initially pleased with the system itself, the ongoing customer service and annual maintenance have been extremely frustrating. My prior annual service was already delayed, and this year I called in August to schedule maintenance. I was told I was not due until September and that someone would contact me. No one ever did. Since the end of September, I have called repeatedly and have been told my request was being marked urgent, escalated, or sent to a supervisor, yet I still have not received an actual service appointment. I attempted to send a written request to the support email address published for the company, and the email was returned as undeliverable. I paid several thousand dollars for this system and expected the advertised annual maintenance and ongoing servicing to actually be provided. At this point, I am simply trying to get the annual maintenance and water testing that should already be complete. I hope Puragain resolves this promptly, because having to repeatedly chase a company for routine service after purchasing the system is very disappointing. read more

Have a all home filter system and not even a yr old. Now has a leak from one of the filters. I called 2 separate times a week apart today and last week to get service done. No return phone call. I am about to hire someone to remove the system and send it back. The value of the system haha yeah right. 2 separate times when turning on the faucet soapy water came out, I'm like wtf. Have been trying to get maintenance service for weeks and the Company has been completely unresponsive. The only contact method provided by the Company are two toll free numbers that reach an answering service. Messages are taken but no one from the Company calls back. Our water quality has significantly deteriorated and if we can't service the system, we will have no choice but to scrap the system that we paid thousdands of dollars for. At first, everything seemed great--the presentation, installation, and promises of ongoing service and filter replacements were very professional. Unfortunately, once it came time to actually replace the filters and provide the scheduled maintenance, the experience completely changed. Appointments have been canceled, emails have gone unanswered, and when I call, I'm told someone will follow up, but no one ever calls me back. I even missed work for a scheduled maintenance appointment, only to receive a call saying they were still waiting for parts and had to cancel. As of now, my TDS reading is high, and I still do not have the quality drinking water I was promised. It's extremely frustrating to invest in a water filtration system and then struggle to get the maintenance and customer service that was promised at the time of purchase. I hope the company takes responsibility and resolves this issue as soon as possible. read more

I have been trying to get maintenance to come out for 2 weeks to fix a leaking unit under my sink and have been unable to get anyone to call me back. THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, very good first impression very responsive and friendly up until trying to get serviced, my alkaline water has a very odd/gross taste i called multiple times and kept getting told I would get a call back and never did after multiple calls over the course of a week I finally got a text message to schedule an appointment over a month later, only to cancel the appointment the day before because "they don't have the filter" I scheduled it a month in advance it's unacceptable to not be prepared. I purchased puragain water system back in 2024 and for months now I was not able to get someone to servicing my unit after repeated requests. On Sept 2nd, I was able to secure a timeslot but unfortunately my appointment on Sept 24th was canceled without notice. This is frustrating as I took a day off from work for this appointment. I then called the customer service again and I was promised a call back but to no avail. I have one good thing to say about this company, which is once the system is installed correctly it works (not so sure yet on the system being advertised to clear up scale on the faucets just yet but I will update my review within 6 months of usage). Problems: 1. Sales person advertised that the system could be installed in the garage with no problem (mind you the actual techs were not present). - This was not the case as when the techs showed up, they indicated would need to dig across the entire property to install in my garage based on where my water main was located, thus my filter was installed outside which is subject to weather issues. They convinced me that they had some weatherproofing methods available and there would be a bypass installed in the event of freezing, etc. 2. The salesman (they will visit you) advertised that the technicians had all necessary tools to see existing structures/cables underneath the ground and if indeed they did hit anything they would repair it (to include sprinklers). - When the technicians arrived, they immediately started digging and asking questions that the sales person had the answer to the day prior. Puragain hit internet cables and sprinkler power cables. It took them 2 days, plus a couple of call backs (explain this in next one) to complete the installation. Installation was advertised to take half a day. Thus I spent New Year's Eve holding a flashlight to assist the team that was unprepared for the job. They arrived at 9:00am and left that night at 9:30pm. 3. Call backs: The technicians came unequipped to perform the work required the 1st time and tore up the yard during the installation. We called them out 3 times to pound back the soil and grass they removed during the installation. Additionally, they forgot to cut the water main back on after they claimed they were finished, thus we had no water flowing after about 5 minutes of trying to get the air out of the pipes as instructed. Thus they came back and cut that back on. Lastly, when I tested the sprinkler system, an immense pressure built up just underneath the filter and water blasted all the way up to the second story of my house (no damage to the house) but they had to come and fix that as well). 4. Sprinkler Issue: They were able to fix the pressure problem underneath the filters, reconnect the internet power cables successfully, but they severed my sprinkler power cables (~ $800), and still 2 zones in my front yard are not working. The ultimate worse thing is that Puragain said they would pay for the Sprinkler technicians required fixes (in writing). They have not paid a penny and it's been just short of two weeks in requesting a status on paying for an invoice to fix my two zones in my front yard and send us a check for the ~$800 when the service tech came out prior. The Heath TX City Manager, who is somewhat of an owner of Puragain, multiple responses to this issue has been that the invoice was sent over to Accounting (no payment) and that he had not heard back from Accounting. Bottom Line: I would never recommend this company to anyone at this time. read more

I've had this system for three years normally it would cost $250-$275 for filters with the carbon sand this time they wanted to charge me $500 and I'm in shock no way it has gone up that much and on top of that the tank under the sink for the alkaline drinking water went out I thought they had a lifetime warranty and they wanted to charge me $100 on top and the top faucet keeps coming loose and falling so yeah I live the system but it has become more troublesome than anything ima just change it myself different brand tank cause if I need to change every two three years nah and the filters I've seen them online for under $140 the key to take out the filters is there grab a bucket and there you go read more

The company says they will contact me for maintenance but have not done so. Multiple followups have yielded nothing on their end. I called Puragain come during a time of extensive construction for us. This was our first yearly service and come test our water. I was very surprised and scared by our water results!!! They were not good! We had lots of heavy metals in our water. All our filters had to be changed during their yearly visit. We are now back to pure clean water again! Just had the Puragain water system installed with the alkaline water system. So far everything is good we can actually taste the difference in our water. Our installer Francisco did a fantastic job. He was also helpful giving us a few tips on some of our previous valves. System looks very solid, since it is installed outside wondering how it would stand on days that is over 100 degrees only time will tell. We can actually tell some differences in our shower water and love our alkaline system. On the filter will deal with that when it is time to replace. Wish the had zero finance for 12 or so months plan on paying for the year is over. read more

System stopped working all of a sudden. No pressure drop indication. I was using water during day and all of a sudden stopped. Pressure was good before and then in went to zero. Bypass should be plumbed in in case of these issues. I called 5 hrs ago and no response. Had to call a plumber. Called the salesman as well no answer. 5hrs + with no water in your house is not ok. I have not worked with this company or had a tech on site. The initial call that I had with a representative was impersonal. During my initial communication which was a brief phone call it did not feel as though questions were welcome. The person who my initial phone call was with did not know what kind of system they were selling. I understood that it was a salt-free system, but she didn't have the information as far as what the replenishment would be or maintenance would be. She did not know if it was citrus based or potassium based for instance. After the initial phone call it sounds like next step is to have a tech come out to do water test testing and review those details of the system. During the initial conversation, I had already gotten the information that they were significantly above price points that had been provided by other companies. For that reason, we likely would not choose to use them. read more
