Just called at 7:30 pm on a Saturday and got a message that they're closed. 24/7? Nope

Unfortunately I must recommend forgoing all prescriptions at this Walgreen's location for fear you may encounter Halle L. Yesterday I called 3 times to get automated updates. First one told me scripts would be ready at 11:30am. Second update was they'd be ready by 2pm. Third update said by 6:30pm. I arrived at the drive-thru at 7:30pm (30 minutes before close). The assistant told me the scripts weren't ready and to come back in 15 minutes. I drove up to the window again at 7:46pm. Assistant told me they still weren't ready and to come back again in 15 (more) minutes, which, by then, would be after close at 8pm. I told her I would just wait there, thank you. Unprofessional "pharmacist", Halle L. got on the drive-thru phone and told me no one is allowed to, "block my driveway". I replied with, "I am not blocking anyone's driveway. There is no one behind me and you close in 12 minutes. If a car pulls up behind me, I will drive around, as is standard protocol." She then told me, "I have the authority to refuse service to anyone and I will not fill your prescriptions today." Up until then I was calm and understanding - even after waiting all day and yes, being told to come back, "in 15 minutes..". I asked her if she was serious. After she affirmed, I told her she was a miserable human being. I didn't yell, rather stated the fact in a less calm tone, maintaining volume control. If you want professional and prompt customer service, do NOT go to Walgreens and I warn you, stay away from Halle L.

And when I made my purchase he literally apologized TO ME for sitting. Like what the actual fuck. I cannot believe that someone high up probably made him feel like he could not sit and rest and then he has to say sorry to me. That is a disgrace. Ya'll gotta take better care of your hard working employees because that is disgusting.

I cannot say enough good things about Northwest Pharmaceuticals Compounding Pharmacy…read more No matter what your pharmacy needs are - you should use these folks... but for folks like my wife who need special treatment, they're a God send. My wife has MCAS, which makes finding medications she can tolerate incredibly challenging. Even very small amounts of fillers, sweeteners, flavors, dyes, or unnecessary additives can cause reactions for her. She often needs prescriptions compounded with the absolute minimum number of ingredients possible, and not every pharmacy understands how critical that is. Mike, the owner, truly gets it. I've been the one working most directly with the pharmacy, and I am genuinely so grateful for the care and attention Mike has shown us. From day one, he has treated my wife's case with seriousness, patience, and real compassion. He has worked closely with her doctors to make sure each medication is compounded exactly the way she needs it, stripped down to the simplest formulations possible. Whenever something needs adjusting, he takes the time to talk it through and problem solve with us. What really sets him apart is how far he is willing to go for his patients. There have been times when our schedule or her health made it difficult to pick up prescriptions during regular hours, and Mike has been willing to meet me at the pharmacy on Sunday mornings when they are formally closed just to make sure my bride had what she needed. That level of dedication is rare. Living with complex medical issues can be overwhelming, but having a pharmacist who treats you like a person and not just a prescription number makes all the difference. My wife is definitely a special case with complicated needs, and Mike has consistently bent over backwards to make it work. We are incredibly thankful to have found him. I recommend Northwest Pharmaceuticals as highly as possible.

This lovely female dog has a condition called Wilson's Disease, and the person who was elected to send me her compounded medication from Oregon was late in doing so. I made several calls to various Compounding Pharmacies in my area, and found only one who could compound the prescription the dog needed. Mike worked patiently and graciously with the pet's vet in Oregon and myself on a very busy Saturday to create the necessary dosage for this animal. Needless to say, Poppy the dog had her next scheduled dosage right on time thanks to this wonderful Pharmacy owner.

I like shopping at Walmart. This location has plenty of parking. A nice layout and is clean. One…read morething I no longer like about Walmart is the amount of store items that are locked up now. I understand they are combating theft. I've seen the stats on the losses Walmart as a company have taken from theft. So I don't mind the glass cases and having to find someone to open them for me. However, I do mind when Every Walmart employee I ask says they don't carry the key to unlock it. Or nobody shows up after pressing the button for the tools. OR no longer having a button at every case. Or nobody showing up to unlock it after a different employee told you they would get someone who could open it...etc... One time I waited to get some tools that were behind glass for 8 minutes. I was the second person to join in on the fun, someone else was already standing there waiting for the case to be unlocked. Another time I went to this walmart I was with a lady near the supplements/vitamins next to the pharmacy. I needed a pre-workout container behind locked glass. We both waited for a while before someone showed up to unlock it. And another time I shopped there, I was gonna buy my father in law some pants for his birthday, but those were locked up too. I asked a Walmart employee to open them for me, but she said she didn't have the key to open them for me.... I waited for a few minutes, then went home and bought the pants online. Hopefully Walmart Corporate is reading this review. They think they will be okay implementing this solution for theft because the losses are so great. But they must realize that they are alienating a dwindling demographic of shoppers that still go to stores to shop. With that demographic already getting smaller due to Amazon and other online shopping, they are only speeding up the process of their customer base shrinking.

Walmart is very ambitious in trying to have a complete "Super Center" at this location, yet this is…read moretheir smallest "Super Center" in the area. The only problem is that their priorities are out of balance here. The number one thing people come to shop for at Walmart is groceries, yet this store's grocery section is too small. The aisles are narrow and crowded, and you can barely get your cart through if other people or carts are in the same aisle as you. This Walmart tries to compensate by making their grocery shelves taller, but how does that work for shorter customers? Since groceries are the most popular purchases, this particular Walmart location needs to reduce the size of some of the other sections, and expand the grocery section to achieve better traffic flow (and more satisfied customers).
